I have been taking my miniature poodle to Little Dogs for over a year now. I have utilized the grooming, daycare, and the boarding. If I have ever had an issue with any aspect of my dogs care, it was addressed professionally and expediently. I wasn't happy with my dogs haircut and they had me bring him back the next day to fix it (without charge). I was extremely surprised to see the negative reviews here but once reading them, I could tell they weren't all truthful and one of them was just spiteful. Little Dogs do not have kennels which is why I chose this facility. If a dog is misbehaving uncontrollably, they call the owner right away. Little Dogs doesn't charge for reservation changes. I have never had to make a deposit for boarding. I have never had a problem rescheduling a grooming. My dog is always excited when we pull up to the facility and it is very evident that the employees love working with the babies. I would, and have, recommended Little Dogs to anyone with a small breed. They organize the dogs by temperament and size so that the little ones don't get overwhelmed by their slightly larger brethren. more

Angry owner, miserable employees, under-the-table tendencies, and lack of business management skills are all great ways to describe this shame to businesses. As a customer, I was treated extremely unprofessionally due to association with a former employee. Never before in my life have I EVER seen such unprofessional, and shady practices, including breaking labor laws. If you have to pick between putting your dog in a closet or taking them to this place, your hard-earned money is better off in your pocket instead of in this business's possession. more

Ralph has never been happier! Thank you Little Dogs! 3/3/2011

I have had Ralph since he was a puppy. Let me tell you, he is a very hard boy to please. Ever since he was a baby, he has had severe food allergies and has had to have a very strict diet of raw meat because of his food allergies to wheat. I was so worried to have anyone watch over my precious little boy while out of town at a funeral, but the staff at Little Dog Resort put me right at ease! They told me they can accomadate any dog's diet, even my little Ralph's raw meat diet! It made me feel so glad to know he was in good hands. He looked so healthy and happy when I picked him up from his two week stay last month. They told me he especially likes their grass yards so he can run around and play fetch with a tennis ball, his personal favorite game! I take him to daycare there now too and it has made such a difference in our lives. Ralph can barely contain his excitement as we turn onto Main Street! Thank you Little Dogs for making my Ralphie feel like a member of your Little Dogs family! more

5 Stars for Little Dogs!!! 3/3/2011

My friend suggested this place whenI got my first dog for Christmas. She is a Bichon and they have special hair that needs a lot of grooming. I didnt know what I was doing so I asked the girl who greeted me when I came in how it all worked. She explained everything I needed to know about caring for my new puppy and what the groomer was going to do since my dog was a puppy. They wanted to make sure that her first groom was a positive one so she told me the groomer would go really slow and make it easy for JoJo to like it there. I must have stayed there for about an hour just talking with the staff. A bunch of other staff came by to meet JoJo and she went to every one of them and they were all kind and very sweet to me and JoJo. We have been coming back at least once a week for daycare. I am very happy and every time I come in, the people are always great. This is my first dog. I have known some really obnoxious dog owners in my time. Im sure its easy to guess what kind of people are writing those poor reviews. Little dogs is wonderful. more

If you love your dogs, take them to Little Dogs Resort 3/3/2011

We have been taking our dogs to Little Dogs for their whole lives. Walter is 9 and Lois is 4. Sometimes we think the dogs would rather be at Little Dogs than home with us. They start barking and jumping all over the car as soon as we turn on the Little Dogs street. Little Dogs is always clean and you can just tell that everyone there loves the dogs and their job. Once, Lois had a bladder infection that we didn't even know about and Little Dogs caught it and let us know and got her taken care of by the vet before we got home from our vacation. We were so grateful that they know our dogs so well that they could tell (better than we could) that poor Lois just wasn't feeling good. I will never forget how wonderful it felt to know my dogs were in the best hands while our family was on vacation. I highly recommend Little Dogs to everyone I know. more

Surprised at the bad reviews 3/16/2010

We have been using Little Dogs for several years and were surprised at the negative reviews. Our dog is eleven years old, nine pounds, and not very social. We appreciate that older and smaller dogs are cared for differently than much larger (30 pounds vs. 9) and more active young pups.\r \r Roadkill has stayed for up to 3 weeks at a time while we travel and it gives us the peace of mind to enjoy our travels knowing that she is safe and being cared for properly. Friendly, nice place for little dogs 9/7/2009

We've been using Little Dogs for years, every time we go on vacation. Our papillon is very nervous around other dogs everywhere except when she is at Little Dogs. She was shy at first, but now is happy and excited when we drop her off. When we pick her up she is well cared-for and has clearly had a good time. I'm not sure why some reviews have said the owners are not friendly. They are quiet, but nice. Pros: My little dog is always happy there Cons: No drop off on Sunday more

worst place ever 2/21/2009

First, I believe the people writing the great reviews either own the place or work there. I wish I had found this site in July 2006. This place is the Worst to board your dog. We left our pug there for a week. We came back and first, she ran away from a caretaker. She doesn't run away from ANYONE. She loves people and does not hesitate to jump on them. As We drove home we realized her face was covered in mange and had significant hair loss. In other words they just shoved her outside and left her there. They never once responded to my emails or calls or the pictures I sent of my pug. I put a stop payment on their check and never looked back. Pros: little dogs? Cons: they hate dogs more

Bad customer service! Watch out! Get the word out! 12/1/2008

Bad customer service. We changed a reservation PRIOR to our reservation day and PRIOR to dropping off our dog and we were told we would not be charged for our change. Upon pick up they charged us an additonal $65 said ""deposits for scheduled days are non-refundable""(even after spending over $400 in less then a month) They purposly did not change our reservation so they could charge us for our deposit! \r Had we made our change during our dogs stay that would be acceptable, however in our situation the reservation was changed four days prior to the drop off date and over ten day before the Thanksgiving holiday, so their excuse of ""having to turn other owners away"" is nothing but fraud and a lie! We picked up or dog on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving we were told 40 dogs were arriving that day and they told us they turned people away! Watch out! Owner is very unprofessional and could of cared less to have us as their customer. more

WORST Pet Care EVER!!! 8/5/2008

I took my dog to Little Dogs for about 2 years and recently they had said that MY dog attacked the owners dog....For one my dog only weighs 8 pounds and they said she was on top of the owners dog attacking him (HOW in the world can an 8 pound dog attack a bigger dog??) so to punish my dog they put her in TIMEOUT for 5 HOURS!!!!! Why would anyone in their right mind lock a dog in a kennel for 5 hours. My dog had BLOODY paws from scratching and trying to get out of the kennel and her face was soaked from her crying!! I take my dog to doggy daycare so I DO NOT have to put her in a kennel!! I am just furious that they would do that to an animal. If a Child daycare was to put a CHILD in timeout for 5 hours they would be SHUT DOWN!!!!!!! more

greatest daycare in the valley!!! 10/17/2007

little dogs has pretty much saved my life!!!! the love of my life-my little schnauzer is a little high energy, and since i work full time i need someone who is going to show as much love and care as i would....i tried many other places but little dogs is the only one that i have been truly satisfied. the employees seem to develop relationships with every dog there as if it was their own. They are also one of the most friendly bunch of people i have ever met. whenever i come in i am treated like i am their only customer. also i think that their facility is the cleanest i've seen. i would strongly recommend little dogs to anyone who really cares about their animals. also the grooming is probably the best i've had as well more

Issabella loves little dogs!!! 10/16/2007

Wow, and that is an understatement! Izzy has been a Little Dogs fan since she was 4 weeks old. She was so small and I was worried about leaving her while I worked. The great people at little dogs came through again. They love her, play with her, and most important let her be Izzy. I've been able to leave town knowing she has the best attention possible. It is so fun to go and get her after a hard day at the clinic. She is tired from playng but still has to bark good-bye. The staff are wonderful and I am grateful. more

absolutely the best daycare!!!!!!! 10/10/2007

On the first day I took my dog to Little Dogs I had my doubts. My dog did not seem to like the idea. When I handed her over my dogs tail was tucked between his legs and he actually tried to nip one of the girls working there. I almost took my dog home, but the girl behind the desk said this was normal and they would work with her. When I picked her up she was sitting in the lap of the girl working at the front desk. I decided to give this daycare thing another try. The next day my dog went in easier. Her tail was still tucked, but she let the girls pick her up and hold her. When I picked her up the second day she was running and playing. I could not believe the change. Now I cannot even drive near Little Dogs without my dogs getting so excited that I have to stop. I would highly reccomend Little Dogs. Pros: Friendly service, extremely clean, cute decor, great service Cons: I just wish that the facility was open a little later more

best dog day care 10/10/2007

My small dog loves going to Little Dogs!!! She becomes very excited when we tell her she is going to ""school"". Upon entering the facility, we are greeted by a friendy caring staff, who quickly recognizes both myself and my dog. They always inquire about what service we are there for, and any special concerns or needs for the day. I often take her there for daycare when I work, and she is exhausted when I pick her up. I have arrived to get her at various times and the staff is always playing with her, either inside during bad weather, or outside in the yard. I have also used this facility for boarding. It is the ONLY place I will leave her. The staff is wonderful and truly cares about my dog. This is the place to take your dog, if you want exceptional care and a spoiled pet at the end of the day!!!!! more
