Lia Toyota of Colonie

I just had my Toyota alignment done at Lia Toyota of Colonie. It is such a nice difference in how the car steering feels once that is remedied. I've had very good years from my car so far and now finally having to get a tweak here or there isn't a problem especially when you're dealing with Lia. They are so organized and professional about checking you in and seeing that you're taken care of that it's a pleasure. Brian Powell made sure that I knew how long things would take and what the process was like at Lia. I never thought I'd be saying this, but it is such a nice experience taking your car there what with their very personal attention, that I look forward to my next visit. more

I recently had problems with my 02 Rav4 and took it to Lia Toyota of Colonie. I had originally bought it from them new. I was met by Jerry Forti (service) who was very professional and through in explaining what the problem was and not to put that kind of money into this car. Jerry Forti introduced me to Kevin Rivers (salesman) who was very helpful and not at all pushy. Needless to say I walked out of the dealership with 2013 pristine condition Rav4. Seven years ago while looking for a car for my daughter I found a Camry at Lia Toyota of Colonie that I just had to have! The car had been a lease and hadn't even been processed since being returned. Lia worked with me and gave me a great deal. The car turned out to be a real keeper. I kept it seven years (longer than I had ever kept a car before). It was so comfortable and dependable that it was hard for me to decide to trade for a new one. When I finally ventured back to Lia Toyota to look at new cars I met Rich Rovazinni who showed me the new Camrys and went for a test drive with me and my husband. He was very knowledgable and honest. I wanted a new car but didn't want to let go of my old Camry. It took over a year to finally make the move. Rich was so patient, he never tried to push me to trade, he just told me to call him when I was ready. He kept me informed through out the whole process and got me everything I wanted on my new Camry. The whole transition from old Camry to new was amazing. I have no regrets in giving up my old Camry that I loved so much.\r One thing I have failed to mention is that I live 2 1/2 hours north of Colonie but the trip was definetly worth it. I get 2 years of free oil changes and I will be bringing it back to Lia Toyota of Colonie every time. Rich took me into the service department and introduced me to the service advisor who proceeded to set me up with my first maintanance appointment. If you ever go to Lia Toyota to look at vehicles, look for Rich Rovazzini to help you, you'll be glad that you did! more

Paul Eyring was excellent in keeping me up to date on service of my car. He also advised me to go to the Collision Dept to see what they could do about the scratch on my car. I was amazed that they only had to buff it out and the scratch was gone. Lia Toyota is outstanding. more

My husband and I went into Lia Toyota about a month before we leased our car and met with Tom Pottenburgh. He was extremely helpful then and when we decided to go in to look at a car in May, we gave him a call and he was just as helpful. Tom set me up to test drive a Camry. He was not at all pushy, in fact was surprised when I said that I wanted to start the paperwork right then and there. He knew that I didn't want to be pushed and he thought I was just going to go home to talk to my husband about it. Tom stayed late that night in order to make sure I was able to ride out of there THAT NIGHT with my brand new car, cancelling an appointment previously made. Tom went completely out of his way to make sure I was happy with my new car. Before my husband and I drove away, he even brought us over to the Service Department to show me where I would be bringing my car for it's oil changes and service. I took my car into Lia Toyota this past Friday for its bi-annual checkup and servicing. As always, the people at Lia are friendly and professional.\r The person who assisted me on Friday, Michael Kikkert, was especially helpful, and I can easily state that he is an asset to the service department. I took my 2012 Prius to Lia Toyota for the 30 month service. As always, it was an excellent experience. My service advisor was Whitney Dufkin. She suggested that because there were only 10,700 miles on the car, and I have been keeping up with the maintenance schedule, the car didn't need further maintenance at this time. But, she facilitated a courtesy multi-point inspection anyway, asked the mechanics to check out a brake noise that concerned me, and had the car washed. After I waited for a short time in Lia's comfortable waiting area (there's coffee and donuts too!) Whitney returned to explain the inspection results and the probable reason for the brake noise. All of that was completed at no charge! Whitney was a pleasure to work with. She is a good listener and communicator, very conscientious, and courteous. Lia staff is always courteous and efficient. I recently had to have another key programmed to my vehicle. Richard Gruber took care of the programming. He was very helpful. He got the key within a day or two and had us in within another day to get it done. This is my second car from Lia. I couldn't be more satisfied with the purchasing and the service experience. Until my recent visit, I was ready to write Lia off due to past experiences with both their service and sales department. However, that said, because of the nature of the repair/service I decided to try one last time, and the experience was excellent. I was lucky enough to have the assistance of Service Provider Whitney Dufkin. The level of professionalism exhibited by Ms. Dufkin far exceeded what I had experienced previously at Lia and frankly most other businesses. She kept me advised during the entire process with respect to cost and scope of the work, and assisted with the resolution of some pricing issues. If this is an example of the ""new"" Lia, I will definitely be back. more
