Leased my 2012 Sonata for 3 yrs. Lease expires this Jan. Two weeks ago I decided to buy it. Love the car and Lia was very responsive to my needs. Look forward to continuing my service with them more

Don't leave valuables in car-Repair took forever. 12/13/2014

Items missing from car, most likely due to car being left unlocked and unattended. Greasy wheel and grease marks on ceiling after picking up car. Smart key reprogrammed without telling you, leaving the other key useless. Repair was extremely slow. Took many days, without offering a loaner. Communication was lousy. I wish I could rate them 0 stars, but I'm forced to give a one. Service manager is nice and sincere, but entire experience had been lousy. Go to your local Midas instead, they can't be any worse. more

friendly service dept 12/5/2014

Always friendly. Price on oil changes listed online is cheaper, always have to mention it, they should just change the price to match it. Also, suppose to wash car with oil change, sometimes they do, but when they do it appears they just rinse the car off with water. Dirt is still on the car. more

Its the little things that can make or break your confidence in a dealership and this was just one more negative little thing. Scheduled service on our Sante Fe but when my wife arrived prior to 7am to drop off the vehicle there was no drop off box (envelopes) or slot available. In fact that whole area was under construction. My wife locked the keys in the car and I had to reschedule all of my morning appointments so that I could go down to the dealership to get the vehicle registered in the service dept. Bottom line the service advisor making the appointment knew it was going to be an early drop-off and made no mention of the service area issue but most troubling is that the dealership made no effort to provide an early drop-off alternative. I also emailed the customer service manager but have yet to receive a response. more

Service manager Brian was very helpful in resolving my car issues 11/25/2014

My car required a re-manufactured transmission and Brian got it fix asap for me and supplied me a loaner car. Additionaly, my car had been in a accident that messed up the gas light and reading the amount of fuel accurately. I discussed the accident and explained that this was not an issue before the accident. He investagated and determined by working with the appraiser that it was related and covered by the insurance co. Thanks for all your help . It was a pleasure working with you. more

Over-Torqued lug nuts, improper inflation 11/9/2014

You know Lia, you get some things so right and it was nice that you vacuumed the interior as well. However, I am an older female and when you put the lug nuts on so tight I can't loosen them (torque spec is 65 ft lbs. and I can loosen that easily) as well as torque then unevenly I really wonder. Don't you have torque sticks like other garages or do you just let your mechanics grind away with an impact wrench? It also bothers me that I purchased a comprehensive 4 year extended warranty a few months ago but the front office couldn't walk the paperwork back to the service department so they knew about it? more

Brought car in for routine oil change, the service manager informed me of a warranty repair that required attention. I was under some time constraints but he he said he could have it done in 1.0-1.5 hours, it was done in 1.0 hours, car returned washed and I was on the road again. Good job to all involved. more

Hyundai honors its warranty 6/7/2014

My car's rear hub assembly needed replacement. (Car was making a loud, odd sound.) My local garage said it was a 4 hour job costing $400. Hyundai honored the warranty and fixed it an 2 hours. No charge. The service staff are professional and responsive. Great job! more

New Engine 5/8/2014

I bought a 2011 Elantra brand new, 55k miles into driving my car, I started to hear a banging coming from the engine. I brought it in and they thought it was the oil filter, they changed it and I went to pick up my car and the problem persisted. I brought it back, only to find out I needed a brand new engine, I was told 2/3 weeks to get the engine in and 2/3 days to fix it. The whole process took 2 months. They couldn't get me a lonaer until 2 weeks in, I could only rent a car for 1 day. I finally got a hold of someone in consumer affairs for Hyundai Motor America and they started to make things better. When my car was finally ready they forgot to put the engine cover back on, the car made a loud grinding noise, and the service manager and tech both said it sounded fine, brought it back 2 days later cause I knew something was wrong and I was right. They spent that morning about 1 1/2 hours fixing it, and putting the cover back on which should've been done the first time and there should've been no noise. How can you say it sounds great then the next time say something is wrong. Also I didn't get it back clean the car was just as dirty if not dirtier when I got it back. They did extend my warranty and reimburse some car payments but was a horror this whole thing was. I hope this same thing doesn't happen to my engine again cause I won't go pick my car up the dealership can keep it. more
