WORST PLUMBER EVER! 3/30/2013

TERRIBLE!!! Do not use these people. The way they do business is unethical. Way over priced and charge you 50 dollars just to come to your house. Not a company I will support ever again. There are too many honest companies out there to use this one. more

Extremely disappointed! 10/10/2012

Extremely disappointed! Do not call them! When making my appointment with Len the Plumber, I informed them that my issue was a clogged vent stack which would require someone to get on the roof of my two-story row home. I confirmed that this was a repair they could make same day and that they would bring a 20-foot ladder which would be necessary to make the repair. They assured me up and down that they could handle it and would bring what was necessary. They even trashed other plumbers who wouldn't do the repair same day. I called again two business days prior to my appointment to confirm everything was in order (same-day repair for clogged vent stack + 20-foot ladder), and once again they said everything was in my ticket and not to worry.\r \r Needless to say, an "engineer" - not a plumber - showed up and we encountered several problems. \r 1. He said they rarely make repairs same day (which was not good since they still charge $49 to come out even though they do no work and requiring me more

Predatory Pricing 8/10/2011

We knew exactly what we needed, we just didn't have the expertise to do it. It was only replace the two valves under the bathroom sink. It involved soldering, so we wanted a professional to do it. When we called and asked for an estimate, they refused to give us a ballpark estimate. The tech arrived and confirmed that we were right, we only needed the two valves replaced. He was here for a total of 45 minutes, only about 25 was spent on the job, the other 20 minutes was spent ""pricing"" the job and trying to convince us to get other stuff done. The job was completed at a satisfactory level, but honestly, as a professional there wasn't too much he could have messed up. It cost us $300! For two valves that were totally accessible. Seriously?! When we spoke to customer service they were completely unhelpful and condescending, which of course made us even more upset. The tech was nice, but the service in general was terrible. I will never use them again. We feel totally taken advantage of. more

You answer the phone!We started with you several years ago when totally disgusted at repeated mistakes and delays from BGE Home. We were out of hot water again, but it wasnt worth warranty to keep trying them. Blue Dot went to voicemail. Len the Plumber answered professionally, with humor, and got the job done the same day. Blue Dot called 3 days later. more

I was very satisfied with my Tech. (Jeremy Weiprecht) I told him what I wanted and he delivered. He explain what he was going to do, and about how long it would take. He was on time, he also clean up after his self. I mean I didn't have to go behind him for any reason. I would use Len the Plumber again and I also plan on telling my friends. Thanks you, I am a very, very satisfied customer....... more

This was a totally satisfying experience- from the conversation with the person who took my call to the completion of the work by a most courteous, pleasant plumber. I will definitely call this company for my next service, for which I have received a written estimate and clear explanation of what needs to be done and the estimated duration of the job. more

I am writing this letter in regards to one of your techs, Louis Jones, that installed a replacement water heater in my mothers condo. I would like to start off by noteing, I was more than impressed with his work and also how he carried your companies name. When homes are built, you can always tell when the profit margin outweighed the practicality of appliance replacement. My mother's house is a prime example of this statement, as the water heater was located in the most impratical and utterly stupid location. Quickly, and efficiently, Mr. Jones was able to install the new heater without disturbing the living area in the slightest bit. I believe that people in this world are quick to inform an employer of poor service and rude employees yet do not take the time to compliment them from when an outstanding job is performed. I can tell you, Mr. Jones was a pleasure to have in our home and his work ethic is a prime example of exactly how a customer would like to be treated. I will surely be calling you guys again for any future plumbing needs. Thank you again for your outstanding services. more

When making the initial call, the person who answered the phone was extremely pleasant, and helpful; professional. When the technician arrived, he was professional, pleasant and efficient. After determining the problem, he explained what needed to be done and the cost of these services. more

service was very prompt i was notified by phone, that the technician was on his way, and he had the necessary supplies in his truck( in fact i needed a new faucet, and he had a lot of new faucets in his truck to choose from) avoiding a trip to the hardware store. more

done a great job 5/26/2011

We have had Len the Plumber to our house three times since we moved here in 2008. Every time, the service has been superb! i am able to get an appointment right away and have never had to wait for the plumber to post. They are always there on time to get the work done in a timely fashion and done the right way. Our house was renovated by a couple of ""do-it-yourselfers"" who did not put the attention to detail with every aspect as they should have. Len the Plumber has done a great job with each visit on securing our plumbing to be safer and updated. more

Expensive but Professional 5/24/2011

Came out today and even called to see if they could come before stated time. The gentleman who came out were very friendly and even talked to my two children about what they were doing. They were very expensive, however. $433.00 to snake my main sewer line and put the toilet back on the floor. more
