Layton Glass

Layton Glass is fantastic, I had my windshield destroyed in a thunderstorm and they had it replaced the next day. Service was great and they were very friendly, made you feel like family. The work they did was excellent and they even followed up with me to make sure I was happy. I can not recommend them enough if you live in the area. I hope I don't need their services again anytime soon (damn hail storms) but if I do they will be my first call. more

I have had a very good experience dealing with Terry at Layton Glass. I needed a replacement windshield for my 2006 Avalon. I had already called another glass company and was quoted $475 and an install date of Monday. I really didn't want to wait until Monday as we were going out of town for the weekend. I looked Layton Glass up on the internet. I saw these negative reviews at the time but decided to call anyways (Thursday afternoon) just to get the quote. I really figured they would be higher. Terry new exactly the windshield that I needed. He quoted me a price of $250 plus tax and said he could install it at 8am (Friday) the next day. I dropped my car off at 8am this morning it was ready before lunch. I paid my bill exactly as quoted. I was given care instructions and a lifetime warranty on any installation issue. I don't usually do reviews but considering Terry saved me over $200 and I came close to not calling because of these negative reviews, I decided to share my experience. Thank you Layton glass for your excellent customer service. I will definitely call you again! more

judging by the reviews on here and the experience I just had the displeasure of having with a simple phone conversation with an employee (owner maybe) I would rather kick out the rest of my windshield and drive with goggles and dig the bugs out of my teeth at every red light. wouldn't recommend them to my worse enemy. has no regard for a potential customer and I hope it stays that way so you will drive yourself out of business. more

this customer can do nothing for themselves, customer brought me a broken window & asked if i could supply them with the replacement? order was taken and placed. when the replacement came in i called customer to pick up glass customer came to pick up order 2 weeks later and asked where the frame was? i responded that i never had frame just glass only! she insisted that we had frame. i sent an employee to her home in taylorsville to see what she had so i could try to purchase a new frame or window to satisfy this customer. when my employee got there the frame for glass that we never had was in in the window. she was called and told employee to take frame back to my shop and install glass in frame. i called customer and told her window was ready and that there would be a charge for pick up and installation. she was quoted $100. not $120. she does not believe she should be charged for her mistake & error. i do not appreciate the language and attitude that this customer has taken when all we did nothing wrong! truthfully terry layton i suppose the old saying is true, the customer is never wrong this is why walmart will take back something purchased from target just to get rid of that customer. it is a sad day, because there is no recourse for a small business but to allow them to do the same to you. kara if you will just come and pick up your window there will be no charge to you! i can sleep at night knowing that i have done nothing wrong. more

It is very sad that you feel the need to lie to save face at the expense of a paying customer. I have no reason to lie, you on the other hand do. Also do you really think it is professional to call and threaten to break my window and throw it in your dumpster as retaliation for posting my expierence? I sure do not. That happens to be harrassment. \r \r \r \r Owner is a crook! We brought a window with broken glass to be replaced in. We were told it would be about $46. After a few weeks and not a word from them, we called and were told that we never brought the trim in around the glass..... We did, otherwise it would have been a pile of glass we handed them. The owner for weeks after that swore up and down they didnt lose it and we never brought it in. Finally he sent one of his employees out to our house to see what he needed to get the window back to us. After over a month of waiting, he accused us of bringing the trim with us and he didn't lose it. He is now charging us for new trim AND sending out his employee... this $46.00 window turned into $120.00. And this is the owner Terry Layton. Ordered a round glass top for a table. Told the guy it was for a table top!!! Went to pick it up and it had an unfinished edge. Umm I had ordered it for a glass table. My kids would have cut their hands in about 2 seconds. He said it cost more to finish the sides. Ummmm yes, tell me that when I order it. Guy told my wife after asking to many questions that she should take her business elsewhere! I did! Shop around before you go to these idiots! more

I have used them for for 24 years and have never had a bad job. On the 20 plus things from car windows, house glass, and display cases. They have always done a five star job. I would put my glass job in their hands before anyone in Cartersville or surrounding areas. I have even had friends come up from Marietta for next day windshields and everyone has been very happy. more

I had a rock jump up and crack the windshield in my Ranger, I called my insurance and told them. The claims adjuster asked if I knew anyone to take it too, I ask if Layton Glass was an approved vendor, they said yes. I hung the phone up with the agent. An hour later, Layton Glass called and wanted to let me know they had ordered my windshield and would be by in the morning to put it in and wanted to know where the truck was. In less than 48 hrs I had a new windshield, awesome experience. more
