Believe me, if I could have rated this lousy, crooked, greedy, shyster of a so-called "lawyer" a ZERO rating, even that would be to good. I made the profound mistake of retaining ...

Great Attorney 6/2/2011

It wasn't the economy that forced me to file bankruptcy it was my bad decisions. I was an impulse buyer and lived pay check to pay check. That is no way to live realistically in this day and age. Once I could no longer make my minimum payments I knew I was in trouble. I tried talking to a debt counselor and they said I owed too much for them to consolidate my debt and he recommended me to file bankruptcy. I asked who I should go to and he said John Orcutt. So I made an appointment and put my financial problems to bed. more

I had to file bankruptcy 5/25/2011

I had no questions left to ask, it was time to file bankruptcy. I realized this sad fact on my own. The reason I went with John Orcutt?s firm was because I have seen his commercials since the mid 1990?s. I figured if he is still alive and kicking then he must know what he is doing. Plus everyone in town knows he?s a household name. I filed a chapter 7 and was finished in what seemed about 3 months. The process was relatively painless and easy after I filled out all my forms. more

Debt Relief for Soldiers 5/18/2011

I had to drop a note on behalf of my bankruptcy attorney. I was on weekend leave and was socializing at a pub when I met a paralegal who worked at a bankruptcy law firm. After a few drinks I explained to her my situation, how unhappy I was and she pulled me aside to continue the conversation. She made me promise her I would make an appointment to see what my debt options were. Needless to say I called the law office that following Monday and I haven;t looked back yet. By happenstance a friendly person persuaded me to get rid of my debt instead of waiting for my debt to get rid of me. The law office of John T. Orcutt is friendly and supportive to soldiers. I highly recommend any of my comrades who find themselves in inescapable debt. more

I recommended my brother in law to this law firm after having done some research about filing bankruptcy. I felt the information presented on the website was top notch, informative and most importantly, easy to understand. more

My cousin referred me to this law office because he said they catered to military personnel. I was treated with respect and got my unsecured debts wiped out. I have a clean conscious and a better life for filing bankruptcy. more

Helping Soldiers at fort Bragg 1/24/2011

I was a soldier stationed at Fort Bragg in Fayetteville North Carolina. I enlisted for 4 years and was sent overseas twice for deployment in Iraq and the S Korea. When soldiers are not deployed we tend to drink and spend our money or money we do not really have. I find myself in 20,000.00 in debt in credit cards. I knew what I was doing at the time but things can get out of hand when you are bored, lonely and around a bunch of instant gratification temptations while working for uncle sam. I did not re-enlist and wanted to go to college after my service commitment was up. It was then I noticed how bad my debt was and that I could not pay it off with the GI bill and still go to college. I began to worry about all the interest I would be accruing while I would be getting my education. I thought I could get a job and just pay off my debt and go to school part time. However a semester went by and I found my interest rates rising before I could pay them down. I didn't even enroll into school more

Fayetteville bankruptcy help 11/12/2010

I had no choice but to file for bankruptcy. I had a lot of pride and I waited a lot longer than I should have. I wasted a lot more money trying to get out of debt without filing bankruptcy. money that I could have used toward better and more realistic things. Once I finally realized I had to file or else, I went to the law offices of john . orcutt. It was quick and a lot less painful than I thought it would be. If I could go back and do something different, I would have filed much sooner. Oh well, water under the bridge now, but at least I'm not living under a bridge. I got help. more
