I actually work at McCarthy Blue Springs Nissan, I was trying to purchase a car (i wont mention many details to remain anonymous to my place of work.) But anyways, I was buying a car from my used car department at Mccarthy. I found the same car at Landmark and called over to see what kinda deal i may be able to get. I bought it there, same year, LESS miles and the same trim level/equipment. It has been perfect from front to back and I will actually recommend the people I care about to Landmark Dodge Used Car dept. more

Respectful 9/30/2010

Everyone was very helpful and courteous. The only negative was that when my car was returned from the service area there was grease on the seat belt connector which transferred to my clothing and grease on the inside of the passenger door. This is a first, so hopefully, it will be remedied. I do appreciate the respectful way of all the folks there. Thanks! more

I recently had a horrible experience at this location. I was trying to buy a used vehicle. Many things happened that sent up red flags, but I will only mention the two that irritated me the most. First of all we asked for a Carfax, instead we were given an Autocheck report, and were only given the first couple pages. That way they could say it was a one owner car. I have seen these reports before and know how they read. Also, we were trying to see what finance rate they would give us. The salesman would not give us the rate until we signed that we would buy the car!! We kept telling him it would only work out for the right price, and he said ""sure sign right here."" I am so glad we walked out of there!! I will NEVER go back, or reccomend them. Horrible Service!! more

We purchased a 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee from Landmark Dodge Chrysler Jeep last week and had a very positive experience. We were pleased with the respectful and professional dealings we had with both Rick P. and Mike B. Rick answered all of our questions quickly in the weeks leading up to our purchase. He also was able to locate the exact vehicle that we wanted and gave us a price that was less than any other dealer we had been speaking with in Kansas and Missouri. The final contract negotiations were done efficiently, professionally, and fairly. We would not hesitate to recommend this dealership to our family and friends! more

I have had over 7 cars serviced here and always had excellent service. I keep in mind they did not build the car - they just service them. I never go in with a chip on my shoulder demanding this and that as I have seen some people do, rather I go and explain my problem, ask how many of this type of problem they have had to date on this car, and then how long they feel it will take to get it repaired. Its amazing what a good attitude will get you verses yelling and screaming. They have always bent over backwards to help me. Not all times does the problem get fixed the first time due to the complexities of the cars now days. Heck my first car (a van) went through 7 transmissions (this was not the dealers fault but Chryslers) till We got a good one. Another time I got a lemon and after three times with the same problem they got me a new one without any hassel on my part. Now that is what you want and will get from a 5 STAR DEALER like LANDMARK. Remember they are just people like you and me and deserve the kind of respect you want yourself. more

The used car sales managers behavior was appalling. We requested a price on the Aspen and after waiting for our salesman to fill out 15 minutes worth of paperwork to give us a number, and another 15 minutes to go get the number (during which time I was able to look up the prices of both aspens on the lot on the internet and show them to my salesman upon his return) he returned to tell us we MUST drive it before getting a price. We reminded him that we had driven one of the 2 on the lot just 1 day prior and didn't need to drive the other as it was identical and just needed a price to see if we would like to consider this or the 2010 Town & Country. He informed us that the Used Car Sales Manager would not release that info until we drove it. After several minutes of discussion with our salesman we left the used car area and were headed back to the new cars. As we left the building I made the comment that we were done playing games and would not be purchasing anything today but would think about it and that the Used car area obviously didn't care about selling cars. Apparently the used car manager was outside when this was said as he literally yelled across the lot at me - WE WANT TO SELL CARS - ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS DRIVE IT - LADY and several other things I could not hear as we were still walking. I turned as did my husband to see him and a group of salesmen standing together outside a vehicle and laughing. We informed our salesman that not only would we not be buying a car from either used or new as we were not interested in spending our money at a dealership that had individuals that acted in such an unprofessional and rude manner. After our salesman apologized many times we left. I then called the dealership to speak with the general manager and was told he of course was not available and recounted the story to the man on the phone who informed me that he was in new cars and understood my frustration and that this was policy, he indicated the GM would get back with me and yet as of now I have not heard from anyone at all.
