Once again LBA comes through for me. I have been a customer for over 10 years and I have to say I enjoy being able to recommend their services to friends and family. Everyone is highly skilled, courteous, professional and it is obvious they are there to provide a service at an affordable cost. May sound unusual but I had one of the owners come out to inspect the installation of my new furnace and here was a fellow that works at it every day and our conversation convinced me he was committed to providing a quality service to the community. The reason for my renewal, is that not only has the quality of the work your Company has done for me been EXCELLENT!, my experience with all of your employees from the administrative staff that customers speak with on the phone, to and including the technicians, such as Jesse Reid, who did my winter heating system checkup today has been OUTSTANDING! Not only have they all been very knowledgable, but very professional, responsive and courteous in their dealings with both my wife and I. Before LBA worked on our HVAC, there was an uncomfortable increase in temperature during the summer when we moved from the basement to the main level to the second floor. Now our upstairs is heavenly! As a matter of fact, the upstairs is sometimes cooler than the rest of the house. We have LBA come out a couple times a year to maintain our heating and cooling systems, and we've noticed a definite decrease in our utility bills. I recommend LBA for their work ethic and the quality of their work. more

I had routine maintenance done on my AC. I was told I needed to replace the condenser (outside) fan motor. They wanted me to replace my out-dated system, and I probably should have but didn't want to spend the money yet. They quoted $900 to replace the motor. I did it myself for $130 (new aftermarket parts). I had never done it before, but it is not a difficult thing to do. I would estimate that 100% markup on the parts plus $100 for service call plus $200 for labor should be an absolute maximum (high estimate) total of $560. With OEM parts (not necessary for this old a unit) maybe $760? more

LBA Air Conditioning & Heating is the service company I have used for HVAC work for over 25 years. I have always been pleased with their professional courteous service. \r I had used other companies for my plumbing work. Recently, I had a problem with an outside faucet and used LBA. The service tech found a problem with the water pressure coming into my house. He said the pressure exceeded the recommended standards. He asked if I had problems with my toilets & other faucets. Yes, I have had problems with leaking toilets and faucets needing repair over the last 20 years. Since the repair, the water noise in the house has declined and I don't think I will have problems with leaking toilets and faucets. If I had used LBA for my plumbing needs, the problem would have been identified and I would have saved money & time. I will use LBA for all my HVAC and plumbing needs in the future. Definitely will recommend LBA to family, friends and co-workers more

Had this company replace a 25 year-old furnace and 15 year-old air conditioning system and am very pleased, with both LBA and Lennox. Just experienced the hottest day in 15 years (108 degrees) and the air conditioner performed flawlessly. The installation crew was courteous and well-trained. \r \r I did extensive research on the compressor and selected Lennox because of their reputation and the quietness of the unit. I should have done more research on the furnace, as the unit is somewhat noisy. The exhaust vents through a PVC pipe and makes a slight roar. My wife has already gotten used to the noise, but I still hear it. Don't know if a muffler is available for a furnace?\r \r Overall a good experience. Would recommend LBA to friends and family and would use them again if the necessity arises. more

I had a boiler replaced for $7,000 in 2000 at LBA recommendation. Over 10 years I have spent $1,800 for service to get heat. A small six inch pipe kept rotting through. They replaced it 5 times. Before Thanksgiving I again called with no heat. I was told that the boiler heat exchange has rusted through. Lennox would repace under warranty for $5,000. I think this is crazy $13,800 for heating my home over 10 years. The owner claimed the boiler needed a chemical and I declined it due to cost. I had never heard that. I called and requested a copy of the ticket that stated that. The response was that all future communication with LBA will be through their attorney. They are not even man enough to take to a customer. I have had no heat now since before Thanksgiving. They are the most unethical company I have ever dealth with. Stay away unless you have a lot of money that they can steal from you. more

This company has price gouged me big time. I am not a complainer and have never posted any negative comment about any company. I was charged over $400.00 to have a flush valve replaced. The work took 16 minutes. I asked for any type of discount and was told because of their maintenance agreement plan that none was available. If I was to do all of the work that they recommended it was to cost over $1500.00. If you want to save money, I plead with you not to use this company more

LBA have been my choice for heating and cooling for several years now. The staff is always professional and courteous, and the prices are reasonable. It is also easy to get service appointments right away. more
