I've really had great care while here. My favorite techs are sherry, Geronimo and Cathy. The food is good, better than other places. The doctors all come pretty consistent every day. Charlottes in wound care is very conscientious with my treatment. Therapy pushes me to do more than I think I can. Which impresses me and hopefully them too. And I get to watch my favorite shows. I have been at Kindred for almost 2 months now and I am being released! The nurses and staff are amazing they truly care about you and I love them all. The food is wonderful, I am here after several surgeries that made most food taste bad especially hospital food but the food here is always seasoned perfectly and delicious. The patient care assistants are always smiling and happy to see you. I have had several nurses and care assistants and they all were wonderful. They even stop by to see me when they are working but not assigned to my room. The wound care team is amazing, I look forward to seeing my wound care person every day she even continued to stop by and see me just to say hi after I was released from wound care. The rehab people are also amazing and did a wonderful job of helping me get my strength back. The housekeeping staff is friendly and does a wonderful job of cleaning the rooms. The case manager and other hospital administration personnel are also very friendly and want to do anything they can to ensure your stay is comfortable. I'm very young compared to most of the other patients but the facility was perfect for my recovery. My mom had to sleep in a recliner at the hospital but as soon as we moved here they provided her a real bed and even made arrangements to ensure she received meals. I will never forget my time here and though I am happy to be going home I am also a little sad because I will miss the people who work here. I highly recommend it to anyone who is in need of a long term acute care facility. Shelby M. more

Physical therapy is my favorite group. They are all so sweet. Natalie is my therapist and I look forward to working with her to build my strength. All of the nurses are kind. But my biggest compliment would have to go to housekeeping. They are very kind and clean my room every inch. The care here is so good that I really don't want to leave. The food could be better. My wife is in the Special Care Unit here at Kindred so she has set visiting hours. I work during the week so I can only visit at certain times. I try to come as many times as I can. I came and visited her on Saturday night and she was very tired so I thought I would let her rest on Sunday morning. About thirty minutes into Sunday morning visit get hours I got a call from one of her nurses. I was very worried and asked if my wife was okay, the nurse said "Oh yes. She's fine! We were worried about you since you weren't here to visit. We just wanted to call and make sure that you were okay and hadn't been in an accident!" I'm not even one of the patients here and they make me feel like a VIP! All of the nurses, aids, respiratory therapists and rehab techs are so wonderful. This place is filled with angels!! more

My wife wasn't even supposed to survive this. She was given a very grim chance to live. Then we came here and that all changed. Her wounds were so bad. I had lost all faith that she would get better. This place performed a miracle in my eyes. She is walking and we are going home on Friday thanks to the wonderful people here. All her wounds are healed and look great. From bed bound to walking that is amazing! This whole place is wonderful and has been a positive experience. My faith has been renewed. The staff here is excellent and I was provided accommodations so I could stay in the room with her. We feel very blessed to have found this place. Mr Hammond more
