First-rate optical care 7/28/2011

Dr Katz is knowledgeable, thorough, and has all the latest equipment, including the way-cool Optimap. Amazing a town the size of Galveston is fortunate enough to have such an excellent and modern optometrist. However, I would not buy glasses there. Both of the two pair I purchased had lenses that were too small for the frame, resulting in the lenses falling out. While TSO says they fix them for free, after multiple returns to the shop - they are not fixed. Katz just says lenses falling out is part of his business. I would get your eyes examined there, but take your prescription and buy your glasses elsewhere. more

I always have a good eperience at TSO. The customer service is excellent, The staff is very polite and go the extra mile too help You. And Dr. Katz takes His time with patients, And they have the very latest technology available,So I feel confident that I get a good exam , I feel that staff and Dr. Katz Go far beyond My expectations . And personally I think all business owners in Galveston , Should take a page out of Their book. more

Great Visit 7/14/2011

My name is Nakisha Paul. I had the pleasure of visiting TSO on 07/13/2011 for eyeglasses. I actually see another eye doctor, but preferred to get glasses from Dr. Katz. I was quite pleased with the selections. Kim assisted me and she was awesome! I had several pairs of frames to choose from and with much assitance, I finally chose a pair that worked for me! I am happy and will certainly be back next year for a new pair! Thanks more

Great Service but unexpected charges 7/12/2011

I have gone to TSO in the past and they made my glasses. This year, I was just going in for an annual exam. As always, the service was great. The only thing that was frustrating was that I was charged for a 'contact fitting'. I already wear contacts and did not change brands. The only thing that changed was the prescription. I should not be charged for that considering I am still wearing the exact same type and brand of contacts. That was frustrating! more

It is such a personable and warm experience each time I come into the office. All the staff are friendly and ask to help. I wouldn't go anywhere else to buy glasses. Dr. Katz gives an excellent eye exam. I consider myself lucky I discovered this place. more

Great individualized care by Dr. Katz and his staff. I have been a client for 20 years and returned to the Galveston location even when living out of state. You can just not find this type of personalized care anywhere. more
