The office had a fun modern atmosphere with friendly staff. The doctor was professional with a good sense of humor. And I'm excited for my new glasses to come in! more

Yearly eye checkup & new glasses 11/5/2011

Checkup was thorough & disturbing: "floaters" have appeared (didn't hear if anything can be done for them) & cataracts need continued watching. Mary was terriffic with new glasses, although she let me purchase very expensive frames(I need protection from my champagne tastes !). more

I was told I had insurance coverage. After services were provided, I was informed that not all services were covered by my insurance. Had I known in advance, I woiuld have denied the uninsured service. Thankfully, this is the last time for this occurrence. Should it happen again, I will seek services elsewhere. more

Eye Exam 11/2/2011

Dr. Katz and his office was able to get me in the day I called, since I was having severe eye problems. They were excellent. Very friendly, timely, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Dr. Katz. more

I have been a patient of Dr. Katz's since I started working at UTMB almost 10 years ago and always have a pleasant experience. I feel like my eyes "are in good hands" at TSO. The staff is warm and friendly and I am happy to see the same smiling faces every time I go. more

I always enjoy my appointments with Dr Katz as he is always very professional yet pleasant and always is very understanding and eager to help me with my problems. Because he listens well and can follow my complaints he has always been able to help me. His staff is always very pleasant and knowledgeable. All in all it makes for a very enjoyable and productive visit every time. more

Dr. Katz and his associates provided an overall great experience. I went in thinking that the problem I was having would need some type of prescription. Dr. Katz was very thorough in his explanation of why I needed to try other methods (i.e. eye drops and eye exercises) before I needed to incur the expense of glasses or contacts. I appreciated his explanations as well as his honesty. I would highly recommend Dr. Katz to a friend. more

I enjoy going to my appt's.@ TSO, Dr. Katz & his entire staff is So friendly & professional. From the moment you walk in the door to every step afterwards. I love Dr Katz, after Hurricane Ike I went elsewhere for my eyecare, I'm so happy to be back! I thank God that Dr. Katz & his fabulous team recovered from the devastation! more
