Standing in the isles 9/23/2011

I have been using Aveda products for many years and have been purchasing them from Josephine's for at least the past 5 years. Everytime I go in the shop, there are always plenty of people behind the desk talking to each other, I usually walk around, eventually pick up the items I need but when it comes to the tinted moisturizer I need help and usually have to stand there for a few minutes before anyone approaches me and ask if I need assistance. I don't think I should have to flail my arms about like a crazy chicken to get their attention. I'm always disappointed because it is a lovely salon and when the employees do interact with the clients they are always cheerful...Just my opinion more

I'm never suprised by the always friendly greetings both on the phone and in person. It's very refreshing to be in a place where people really enjoy their job. I had an issue where my hair did not quite turn out like I had hoped and they were more than gracious to offering fixing it without any questions and only wanted me to be happy. Will always continue to refer my friends! Great job everyone! more

I had highlights done, April was running behind so Ashley said she would finish me off. She asked me if I wanted it blow dryed and then told me it would be an additional $15.00. I'm sorry but I think that is ridiculous, I already spent $85.00 on highlights so I told her no thanks so she just used the blow dryer to dry it a bit and never touched my head with a brush. I wasn't asking for an elaborate styling but at least use a brush so I don't walk out of there looking like hell! more

Friendly, Classy, Quality 9/20/2011

On this last visit I was really impressed with the confidence of my hair stylist, the quality of the cut, and the friendliness of the staff. I was a little nervous going to an evening appointment on a weekend night, thinking that the employees would rush me out the door. But, quite the contrary, they were relaxed, friendly, helpful, and professional. Thanks for an amazing haircut Ashley. more

What a wonderful pedicure! I appreciate being able to sit and concentrate without a lot of background noise and without the technician constantly talking to me. As a busy mom, this is one of my only ways to relax - and I appreciate the a atmosphere. It was hard to concentrate on my book, though - because the massage was so good that my eyes were rolling back into my head! more
