Competent and honest 3/4/2015

My Bryant system was installed 6 years ago by another dealer. During a routine maintenance check, the company's tech told me my heat exchanger was rusted and carbon monoxide levels were high. He said they had dropped Bryant because they wouldn't stand behind their products, and tried to sell me a Carrier system (red flag: Bryant and Carrier are made by the same company). I called John Waters for a second opinion. Turned out the heat exchanger was fine (some dirt but no rust) and CO levels read zero. Honesty is critical; John Waters will be doing my maintenance in the future. more

1st time using these folks - I recently engaged them for furnace repair service on an 18+ year old furnace... no sales pitch, no B.S., no games. Straight up answers, clear and concise explanation of why it stopped working, and prompt resolution. House is now warm again for under $150. The service technician was punctual, courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. more

We had a new heating and air conditioner, with a humidifier and electrostatic air filter installed 9 months ago. We had some questions about whether or not it was working properly. They sent a service technician who checked it out and more fully explained the system to us. Except for a new filter, it was considered part of the new unit's warranty and provided at no extra cost. more

Brian from John Waters, Inc. was here for two days to install many items. He was very pleasant, professional, and made the least amount of upheaval. We are so pleased with his (and Alex's) work! Many items were installed and Brian was very positive, pleasant, professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. We will definitely call on John Waters for all our needs. In addition, Bob was a great estimator - he had great ideas and suggestions which are now installed! more
