Jerome's Ignition Service

I have been dealing with Jerome's Automotive Services for at least 25 years. They have always been honest, dependable, and I don't think they ever oversell their customers. If you need something they will recommend it, and if you don't you will never hear about it. I think their prices are competitive. They always make me feel like they are treating me honestly and fairly. They stand behind their work. If something goes wrong with a part they will push to have the manufacturer replace it under warranty. They do it promptly and without question. They also always seem to work it out to fit my schedule, so they are really convenient. The quality of work is really very good. I got an oil change from a competitor, and they forgot to add oil. It blew my engine. Jerome's ended up replacing the engine for me, and they did a great job. Charles House more

I've been going to Jerome's Automotive & Ignition Service for 25 or 30 years. They know me by name, and they know my car and what it needs. They have a post card system to let me know when the car is due for something. They are very proactive. In fact, if there is something I can do on my own, as opposed to having them do it, they will let me know. Other than repairs, like brakes, that just wear out over time, I have never had to bring anything back. All repairs are done right the first time so that I don't have to deal with problems. They really take good care of all my cars. Everyone in the shop is very helpful and are on a first name basis with their customers. Finding reliable and responsible health care providers, financial advisors and automobile service is a real challenge. I've been with Jerome's for at least 20 years and I have never been disappointed. My questions are answered whenever I want to see a part or get an explanation of how something works, or a fair opinion of what decision would be best for me based on my auto condition. They have seen through situations that would test anyone's patience yet the technicians are always professional and polite. I am sure that Jerome's depends on word-of-mouth rather than advertisements, since they count on the quality of their work to speak for itself. more

Jerome's Automotive & Ignition Service has been our main auto repair place for 30 years. They are very professional and do not recommend things that we do not need, which is a problem we have had with dealerships. Jerome's also is flexible if we need to bring the car in right away for something that requires immediate attention. They will make the time to look at it. They have done mostly maintenance work for us over the years and we also have bought things like tires from them. Their prices are fair and we have always been very pleased with the service. Jerome's is a few blocks from where I work at Harris/RF. Heard about them from a co-worker. Pay more for parts than if I shopped around and used discount stores but I feel it's worth it for the relationship. Labor is less costly than dealers I believe. They can usually take me to work early in the AM as part of driving the vehicle to observe the problem. Have taken my car, van, daughter's car, mother's car, and mother-in-law's van there over the past two years. So they listen to my explanations when I have a car problem and they provide options where possible. Almost always get the car into the shop the next day if needed and have even gotten it in the same day. Haven't had any problems with their repairs that I can recall. They are very helpful and accomodating when I have questioned the results to explain what was done, what the options were, and why they did what they did. Small shop with two mechanics and a supervisor. Regularly interact with all three. Open and trusted relationship. more

They are always fair and I appreciate the way that they diagnose things from the least expensive work up to what is actually required. Jerome's is very reliable. The provide the best customer service I have ever gotten in any area in my life. They have worked on several cars for me over the years and have done some major repairs. I have been absolutely satisfied with their service and wish that other businesses were as capable as Jerome's. more
