Jacqueline's Bridal Formal

A friend of mind purchased her destination wedding dress from Jacqueline's Bridal. She told me about her experience at her shop and recommended that I go to her shop and check out everything she had to offer. When I entered her shop I was approached by one of her staff. She was very friendly and helped me whenever I needed. Everyone spoke to me in the store and made me feel special. I was very impressed by the service I was receiving. I had been to other bridal shops (like Bridal Warehouse and David's Bridal) and those experiences were as personal as shopping at the grocery store but Jacqueline's Bridal was very different in a positive way and that's what made me want to purchase my dress from her. She had much better service and a larger variety of dresses to choose from. I was sold and chose Jacqueline's Bridal as the place where I would get my dress. While trying on different dresses I was given special attention and had plenty of help when trying on all of the different dresses I picked to choose from. When I asked, I was given very helpful professional advice on things from sizing and styles. I had a great experience. Jacqueline was wonderful to not only me but my parents who came in, my husband (who at the time was my husband to be) and the groomsmen (who rented their tux's from her as well). Everyone had positive things to say about Jacqueline and her shop. I actually think one of the groomsmen is currently engaged and plans to use her for their wedding needs. So I would highly recommend her to anyone currently searching for a wedding gown, bridesmaids dress or tuxedo. I had a wonderful and memorable experience to add to my wedding memories. Happy. I purchased my gown. Great service and very accommodating. Wonderful experience. I will refer my friends. Marvelous atmosphere. Q&A novice gown methodology is great with explanation before you start to shop. Their recommendations are also wonderful. Gowns are taken to the dressing areas for you, and you have a personal associate helping with gown fit etc as friends and family relaxed and observed. The wish list filled out when we first arrived was the guide to my enhanced experience. As I tried on gowns the (no?s were removed, and the yes?s were placed on the wish sheet for retrys and revisits). We were offered bottles of cold water (which was cool, and different). When I decide on my gown, pictures were taken of me and friends for my scrap book. My experience was such a pleasure. I question some of the other comments that I have read. I don't believe the % of difference in my service vs. their service. Are these bridzillas? The store is appointment preferred, no picture taking, and will give you store #'s of your try-ons, and keep record of try-ons on file; which was great for me when I returned with my mother. My parents are business owners, I understand that bridal stores are privately owned and have a large investment, and a need to secure the store life so that we will have a place to try on dresses in the future. My parents and I witness an absurd situation while in the store: one girl tried on about 15 bridesmaid dresses then asked for a style # and to be measured, stating that she did not know where she would buy the dress. The store politely measured, and stated store policy is a $20 fee which can be applied toward your purchase; which ?I thought was great?, but the girl expressed frankly this was poor customer service and became angry. This amazed me, after all she tried on 15 dresses, she was there for as long as I, used a store paid associate, got measurements, plus recommended sizing. In my opionion, that?s worth more than $20. Pros: Great Gown selection! (bridal and bridesmaid). Full service, we are also getting our Tuxedos. Ease of highway traffic and good parking. Knowledgeable and Caring Sales Associates. Cons: Me and my family could not identify any cons. We enjoyed our visit. more

Jacqueline's has excellent customer service!!!! I've been in three weddings this year and I'm going to be in a few more at the end of the year/begining of next year. I feel as if I've been in every bridal store in Nashville and Jacqueline's has been, by far, the best experience I've had. Jackie and her staff were nice and very attentive to all of our needs. Jackie was extremely knowledgable about what styles looked best on my friend and helped her pick out the wedding dress of her dreams. We (my friend, her mother and a few of the bridesmaids) all had ""the moment"" when she put the dress on. Not only was Jackie amazing when helping my friend, she also helped pick out the bridesmaids dresses. Of all the weddings I've been in, this is by far my favorite dress that I get to wear and the best experience that I've had. more

My experience with Jacqueline's Bridal Salon was incredible!!!! I have been in six weddings and this was the very first time I've had my bridesmaid dress fit perfectly. Not having any alterations needed was a huge relief. Jackie's experience definitely shines through her work. I am so grateful to this company for making this the easiest wedding to prepare for. This is the best place to search for gowns or bridesmaid dresses. You will find friendly, patient, and professional assistance. I will gladly refer friends, relatives, and strangers to this bridal salon for future reservations. more

The only good thing I can say about this shop is they have a good selection of bridesmaids' dresses. However, the hassle is not worth it. You are required to fill out a sort of application with detailed info before they will let you look at anything. They don't have fitting rooms, but rather a stage with a curtain that they will clothespin shut around you. While I was dressing, the owner Jackie told me that I was not allowed to fasten or zip anything myself ""as to maintain the integrity of the dresses"". Jackie flipped out when she saw us with a camera, and informed us more than once that pictures are not allowed. She also hovered around to make sure we weren't taking any. She seemed uninterested in answering any of my questions. When she did answer me she did so in a rude and condescending manner. In fact, she gave me wrong information about a dress I was very interested in. She also does not give out style numbers and does not allow her staff to provide that either. She's also hesitant to provide pricing, unlike most shops that have those details right there on the tag. It could be because I found her prices to be higher than others. She also gives a sketchy timeline about when you need to order. If you still decide to brave this nightmare, don't even think about not making an appointment. I heard Jackie get on to a girl that did not have one just b/c she asked to look at color swatches. This was after I heard her discussing that at least 2 appointments no-showed, so she should have been able to help her anyways. Pros: selection Cons: Owner is more than Rude more

Be warned. I have never been treated as rudely or unprofessionally in my life as I was at a recent visit to Jacqueline's. Before my visit to purchase a bridesmaid's gown, I called to confirm that they carried the designer I needed and their hours. Mind you, nothing was said to me about making an appointment. The website says ""Walk-ins are welcome"" but I can assure you they are not! After I arrived, I was told I could be helped after paying a $20.00 fitting fee and that since I did not have an appointment I would only be able to use a dressing room in between appointments. Perhaps I am naive to the protocol of fine wedding shops located in strip malls near outlet stores, but I did not intend to pay a fee to be fitted for a bridesmaids dress I would undoubtedly need to pay to have altered later anyway. I said how I wished to simply try on the dress and was told that I was welcome to look but that they would be ""of no assistance to [me] whatsoever"". She would not even point me in the right direction to the specific designer. I was told, ""Well I'm sure they are scattered around."" Of course I found the dresses all contained on one clothes circle that I could have been easily directed towards. Since I was denied access to the fitting rooms, I proceeded to try on a few dresses over my clothes to determine my size. Some drama then ensued when I was told I could not try on the dresses and that I needed to leave, etc. I went to another location who carried the designer immediately after, was assisted and fitted (for free) and ordered the dress for $30 less than Jacqueline's price. I realize this probably comes as an extremely bitter review by a bitter woman and you know what? that is exactly what this is! Please read this and take it to heart. It was the worst experience I have had in a retail setting and if at all possible, you should avoid this place of business. I found Jacqueline's Bridal in the Nashville Wedding Guide. I had gone to several other bridal salons and I had not been happy with the service or selection. Jackie was amazing from the very beginning and her selection of wedding gowns is extensive. She is a full service salon, so it was one stop shopping. I was able to pick my dream gown and the most beautiful bridesmaids gowns. I would recommend Jaqueline's Bridal to any bride. You will definitely have the best experience. more

I actually found Jaquelines Bridal by using the internet to find different wedding shops, outside of Davids Bridal and Bridal Wearhouse. When I first walked into the store I was blown away by the selection of beautiful wedding gowns. I am a very indecisive shopper and I knew I was going to have a hard time finding the perfect wedding dress, in a building full of them. I went into the whole wedding dress experience with nothing in mind that I really wanted. It took two appointments at Jaquelines Bridal for me to find my perfect dress. Mrs. Jackie and her staff were extremely helpful in helping me find the most amazing dress in my price range!! From the moment I met Mrs. Jackie she made me feel special. My time at her shop was my time to be treated like a princess in every way. I also rented the men's wear and got all my bridesmaids dresses there as well. I felt comfortable with her ideas and trusted her with what I wanted for my big day! I would definitely recommend Jaquelines Bridal Formal to everybody, i already have to several other soon-to-be brides. I am just waiting for my next opportunity to work with Mrs. Jackie and her staff!!! more

Brandon and Anna wanted to have our wedding before they started studying for the bar exam, the weekend after we graduated and before the bar preparation class started. Anna asked her sister Nancy to be her Maid of Honor. One complication for Anna was that Nancy was leaving in January to go to Ireland to be near Luke and was not returning until shortly before Anna's graduation. Anna was very concerned about Nancy not having time to get her dress properly altered. Anna first visited another bridal shop in Michigan and was very disappointed when they suggested that she mail Nancy's dress to her in Ireland to have it altered. While at home for the Christmas holiday, Anna's Mom suggested that they visit Jacqueline's Bridal Shop. While there they found a beautiful Eden's Maids dress that looked perfect on Nancy. Anna was so happy to hear that Jacqueline could accept the measurements for her out of town bridesmaids by telephone or email and then ship the dresses to the girls. And Anna was even more excited when Jacqueline offered to take Nancy's measurements before she left and have the alterations completed before Nancy returned from Ireland. On the day of the wedding, all three of the bridesmaids looked absolutely beautiful in their thistle colored A-line dresses with champagne colored sashes. Overall, Jacqueline went above and beyond, and Anna and Brandon would like to thank her for all of her help. I first met Jackie at a Nashville,Tennessee bridal show. My first impression of her and her staff was that they were professional and knew how to get the job done (and boy was I right on the money). I really needed someone like that to coordinate our wedding because I was attending law school in Indiana, and my then fiance was in the Navy and stationed in Mayport, Florida and our wedding was taking place in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. Oh, and did I mention that we had a bridal party of 14, all of which who live all over the country. We truly needed someone that was organized and helpful and that is what we found at Jacqueline?s Bridal. Jackie was a natural selection for Brian and I because she was kind, patient and very creative. I can truly say that on the day of our wedding we did not have to worry or think about anything. We truly enjoyed the day and it was the happiest day of my life. All of my dreams came true on that day and I can honestly say that May 28, 2005 was a perfect day. I went to Jacqueline's Bridal with a friend that was getting married in less than six months, she had no idea of where to start. We found that the staff there was very helpful not only did my friend find a dress but she was referred to several other businesses for other things. The entire experience from when we first entered the shop up until we picked up our items for the wedding was great. I will and have recommend Jacqueline's to my other friends who are getting married. I was surprised at the other reviews I read about this shop, I guess you can't please everyone.
