Jacqueline's Bridal Formal

We stopped by here to casually see what they had with no real intention to buy. Turns out they had what I was looking for. I needed a formal gown for a ball I am attending and they had one that was flattering and age appropriate for me. I couldn't be more pleased with the service I received and will highly recommend them to all of my friends. Their laid back, homey feeling store and staff was exactly what made my experience a five star one. more

I will start off by saying I did not find the dress I was looking for because I am looking for a very, VERY specific style but that being said these ladies were just so sweet I had to jump on here and share! They were helpful and able to give me suggestions for my needs and if they had it I would buy my dress from them! BUT I am definitely getting my bridesmaids gowns and tuxes from them!!! I was hesitant to stop in here after reading some of the reviews on here but they had the designer that I loved so I braved on and decided to check them out. My goodness am I glad I did. I love the girls here and have concluded that anyone who called them rude must have been a Bridezilla because they were anything but that. They were helpful, sweet, and made me feel at home which was a nice change of pace from some of the other shops that I had been to. Please check Jacqueline's Bridal out. They are a mom and pop store not an annoying chain and they are worth the drive! Well, at least they were for me :o) Pros: amazing dresses & really nice people more

my future bride and myself have been looking feverywhere to get her dress. she is a bit picky which is a trait i love but others not so much and these ladies were awfully patient with her and her pickiness. after trying on A LOT of dresses my girl found what she was looking for. i know not a lot of guys probably post reviews on bridal shops but if my girl leaves happy then they did something right and should be praised on it. these girls work hard and deserve your business. If you go there you may still find me in the floor from shock of the selection and prices... Ah-mazing! Thankfully I didn't have to traipse all over Nashville as I have heard some girls have done... I walked in and was treated with amazing customer service and fell in love with the selection... I actually fell in love with two dresses and had the hardest time deciding... Thankfully they were patient with me and I now have the perfect dress for me and my wedding! Yay for Jacqueline's Bridal! I went to Jacqueline's on Saturday, and i will now forever recommend them. Not only were the dresses gorgeous, but the customer service there was REMARKABLE! They made me feel so comfortable and gave me lots of options and really helped me decide. I can say I am going to be purchasing my dress from them, even though i have not decided exactly which dress it will be, but i know it will be from Jacqueline's. Pros: Great shop many choices more

First of all, I really want to make it clear that I NEVER write reviews online however, I had such a bad experience here that I felt obligated to post something so NO OTHER BRIDE would have to endure an experience like I had at this store. If you are a bride getting married in Nashville DO NOT go here. It's in a horrible looking strip center and the shop itself is filthy and cluttered with items that look like they were bought at a garage sale. If I hadn't made an appointment, I probably would have left immediately. I was greeted by a woman who was curt and snobbish. She provided no help to me or my family from looking to trying on. It was so hot in the store I almost passed out from the heat (and from having to hang up and try on so many of my own dresses.) I couldn't understand why we couldn't get any help...we were the ONLY PEOPLE IN THE STORE, we HAD AN APPOINTMENT, and I WAS A CUSTOMER THAT WAS READY TO BUY. After finding a dress that I wanted more information about, I had to get dressed and walk up to the front just to get the lady's attention. When I asked her details about the dress I tried on, I found out the dress wasn't even available to order because it had been DISCONTINUED. Why is this woman offering inventory that isn't even available? She then proceeded to try to get me to buy the dress off the rack that I had tried on that didn't even fit and was completely ragged for full price. I was so put off by her horrible customer service and bad attitude that I left. And the worst part of this story...the woman I was dealing with was the OWNER!! Jacqueline!! I work in corporate retail and I was disgusted that an owner would treat a prospective client this way. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSLE and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Jackie lacks professionalism and accountability concerning her business. After calling in my measurements they ordered me a dress 6 sizes too small and claimed I requested the size I received. When I called in my measurements I spoke to a male who informed me that a lady would determine the size I needed based on my measurements. If a retailer had the customer's best interest in mind they would have never ordered a size 6 based on my measurements even if they requested the size which of course I didn't. The bride, her mother, along with other bridemaids also experienced Jackie's rude behavior. I understand retailers make mistakes but what really irritates me is when retailers do not treat the customer with the respect and courtesy they deserve. For future customers, you may receive the correct dress but I assure you that you will not receive good customer service. At the end of the day, Karma will take care of the matter in its own way. Nothing makes this place unique or special. From the time my friend made an appointment for me to when I finally got my dress 3 days before I was leaving to go to this wedding, my experience was the worst I've ever had! I got married a year ago and every dress shop I went to was of course very helpful and willing to do whatever it took to get what I wanted. The owner of this dress shop is so worthless. She gave me such a headache because she wouldn't give me the date of when my dress would be in! It was getting so close to my friends wedding, and I had ordered my dress in plenty of time. MY FRIEND IS GETTING MARRIED IN MAY OF 2010, AND WHEN WE BEGAN SHOPPING FOR HER BRIDAL GOWN WE HAD SUCH A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE AT JACQUELINES. WHEN YOU FIRST WALK IN, ALL THE BRIDAL GOWNS WERE ON BUSTFORMS DISPLAYED NICE AND NEATLY SO WE DID NOT HAVE TO RUMBLE THROUGH ANY BAGS. THEN WE WERE GREETED BY A LADY AT THE FRONT DESK, WHO ASKED US IF WE NEEDED ANY HELP. WE TOLD HER WE WERE JUST STARTING FOR HER BRIDAL GOWN. SHE BEGAN BY TELLING US A LITTLE BIT OF THIER STORE AND HOW THIER DRESSES WERE DISPLAYED. THEN SHE ASSIGNED US TO A WEDDING CONSULTANT WHO WAS GREAT. WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK TO SHOP MORE. Before visiting Jacquelines, I went to 3 other stores trying on bridal gowns. My first visit to Jacquelines was memorable. I took my mom, sister and 2 cousins with me to get their input on the dresses I tried on. Upon arrival, everyone there was super friendly. And we didn't have to wait long to begin our Jacquelines experience. We wasted no time and pulled dresses and I was trying them on in a matter of minutes. I tried on about 4 dresses before putting on ""the one"" dress...I think I knew it was the one when Ernestine made all the necessary dress pulling and adjustments and it took my breath away. Jackie provided me with all the accessories to show how the look would be completed. I definitely knew it was ""the one"" when I kept walking around in it and never wanted to take it off. I loved Jacqueline's Bridal Salon, I have gone shopping to quite a few bridal shops in the past few weeks and Jacqueline's Bridal was definitely my favorite. I made an appointment and had such a good experience. Jackie was was so helpful she helped me pick out many wonderful dresses. I didn't feel rushed or pressured at all. After seeing some of the styles I selected, Jackie pulled a couple dresses that she thought I might like. I ended up buying one of those gowns. The dresses they have in the store are in very good condition, unlike some of the other stores I have been to. There was a large variety of bridal gowns to choose from and Jackie knew her stuff! They have the largest variety of bridesmaid dresses. I have seen anywhere I was quite impressed. I would definitely recommend this shop to any bride! Pros: Best Experience I ever had. more

Jacqueline is a top - notch lady. She is very knowledgeable and she knows her stuff. I went in thinking I wanted one style of dress, after I tried it on i still wasnt happy. Jackie noticed I was not feeling like a bride so she left and came back with one gown for me to try that I had passed by numerous times while in the store. I didnt think it would look right on me, Jackie told me to trust her and I am so glad that i listended to her. because as soon as I tried on the dress I finally felt like a bride. I made my decision to purchase the gown and will refer all of my family and friends to Jacqueline's Bridal. Pros: Excellent customer service more

When I first walked in I fell in love with Jacqueline's Bridal, most of the other stores I've been in were cold and life less, but Jacqueline's was warm and had so much personality. When I first met Jackie she seemed friendly and self assured but the more we talked the more I discovered she was all this plus experienced she knew her stuff about weddings and about life. She told me about her shop the dresses and what to expect. I choose some dresses and when I went back to try them on the dressing rooms were so cute that my mother and I just adored them. After an hour of trying on dresses I found my dress. After my mother and I cryed Jackie took some pictures and saved the photos on her web site. My sister is in Cleveland so I gave her the location of the pictures and our password and we all had a good cry. I can't say enough good things about Jacqueline's Bridal and I hope other brides read this and go there to find the gown of their dreams. As I new bride to be, I have been so excited about finding the dress of my dreams. I searched and found a dress that I fell in love with. I called all over the state to find it, and Jacqueline's Bridal is the only place that said they had it. I promptly made an appointment. When I went in to try on the gown, I was greeted by a lady, and I browsed around for a while, without ever getting asked what I was there for. Finally, I told her that I was there to try on a specific gown, which they did not have (they had the other similar dress instead). I picked out that dress and a few others, and they kept pointing me to dresses that were FAR out of my price range, saying that when I put on the dresses I would love them. Then came time to try on the dresses, and they told me to ""let me know when I put it on."" Even at David's Bridal I didn't have to put a monsterous wedding gown on all by myself (and the consultant had 2 brides at one time) ! Jacqueline's had me wearing my street bra also, so my straps were hanging over the edge. After I tried on the dress, she did tie it up, and it was gorgeous (minus my bra straps sticking out). I decided that I didnt want to try on anymore dresses, and told them that I would come back to order, but Im going to order the dress from somewhere else. It was awful. I found a bridesmaid dress in a magazine and discovered that this store carries the designer. I called to ask if they had that style in the store before driving all the way out there. I also let the woman know that I wanted to get the price. more
