We woke up one morning with only half the lights working and the smell of burnt rubber coming from our panel. I called JM Electric to see if they were available, and Justin came that morning. Justin and Wes did a such a great job replacing our panel and bringing everything up to code that the inspector commended their work. Megan is very friendly, professional, and helpful in coordinating the work. I was so grateful for how quickly they responded to our emergency. I couldn't be more satisfied with our experience and would highly recommend them. more

Wes came up with a solution to installing a fan in our great room when no other company could. He also installed 2 bedroom lights. He is a great guy who is very knowledgable. He even had me take notes so that I would know exactly what was going to happen. The price was very reasonable as well. I could not recommend this company enough (and I NEVER write reviews). more

Someone had referred me to them. They came out and did a thorough investigation of the problem I had. The lights in our house would dim every time a power appliance was turned on. The first guy that came out couldn't identify the problem, and thought it was the energy company's problem. He didn't charge me a cent for coming out. I got the energy company to come out, and they found a difference in voltage coming in to the house from different areas but it was in their "normal range." I then found out about homeadvisor.com, so I put in my info and was looking for a second opinion and J M Electric came up again. Their head technician, Justin, called me personally and wanted to make sure it was right. He said he would come check it out, and he found the first issue the first guy had. He said he would take it upon himself to harass the electric company, and after two more visits out they finally identified the problem. It turns out it was their problem, and they came back two hours later and dug a hole in my hard. They found a neutral cable that had been gouged at some point and replaced it, everything has been good since. more

I called JM Electric to install some outlets in my basement. The previous week, we overloaded the only outlet in the basement and had a small electrical fire. No major damage, but it knocked out power in the basement, and scared us to immediately get this updated and repaired with more outlets. After I did some extensive research on Electricians, using various search sites such as Home Advisor, Dave Logan, and Angies List, JM Electrical had top notch ratings on all of them, plus a A+ rating with the BBB. I gave them a call, and man Im glad I did. The quote was very reasonable, adding in more outlets and overhead lights. Jeff even did a preliminary repair due to the minor electrical fire, which knocked out the circuit breaker. I call that great customer service! I would highly recommend JM Electrical to anyone! Jeff Bailey did an awesome job on our basement. I was so impressed with his professionalism and attitude. He knew exactly what we wanted, and did it to the letter! I was so impressed that I wanted to offer him a beer when he was finished, just to show how pleased I was with the whole experience. My wife and I are retirees with a 15 year old house with an unfinished basement. It was service by one 15 amp line with minimal lighting and two duplex outlets. Also serviced was the garage and deck. I have a workbench down there and my wife moved her craft work down there also. Over time the outlets were servicing 5 4' shop lights, computer and printer, shop vacuum, numerous miscellaneous small electric equipment and a 1500 watt space heater. The basement had a rats nest of various length extension cords both single and multi extenders. Because we have grandchildren coming over to play down there we decided to have more service brought in to eliminate my do it yourself electric fixes. I wanted a second 20 amp service with multiple outlets for lights and electric equipment. After researching electricians online and reading customer review, I contacted JM mid morning and was fortunate enough to schedule a tech to come oust for an estimate the same afternoon. I was fortunate to get Jeff Bailey. He is personable and knowledgable with 17 years of experience. We discussed the scope of what I wanted done and based on his experience, the best way to do it. Jeff also suggested some additional work for my consideration (whole house Aston surge supressor) but there was absolutely no pressure to do to do anything more that what I wanted. I sat on the estimate for a day naturally changing the scope of work several times in my mind. I called JM the next day and asked that Jeff come out to do the work. We changed a few things from the first estimate and Jeff completed the job in about 4 hours. The work was done to my satisfaction (I did have the suppressor installed) and was very professional and the cost was reasonable. All in all, I am extremely please with JM Electric and Jeff as shown in my 5 star rating in all categories and highly recommend them. PS. Two grandkids were over yesterday and I no longer worried about them yanking on extension cords lyings all over more

Helpful suggestions to resolve problem. Prompt, careful work by a courteous electrician at a fair price. And everything now works as it should. AND the work area was left as clean as it was found. more

I used a website called 'Home Advisor" to seek out quotes for 3 small jobs. A dimmer switch install, and two bedroom switches for over head lights. JM called in 5 mins and offered to come to the house at 5pm to give a free estimate. Jeff Bailey was sent over and did high quailty work. Checked power box and crawled up in attic and did brillant work and great clean up after. We feel safe and secure with his handy work. He worked constantly from 5pm to 9pm. Amazing. We also became prefered customers which has made us excited if we need discounted or immediate service. I have since refered JM to 3 friends. We called J M Electric because we needed a sconce put up on the wall and it required drilling a hole in the wall and doing some work with the wires. Their service person was very personable and skilled. He was able to do the work within an hour and made the hole on the wall only as small as necessary. If we need electrical work done in our home in the future, we will be calling J M Electric. We would certainly recommend them to anyone. more

We had a serious problem with light/fan in our master bath that just had to be fixed. The electrician we used for years had an accident and could not work, so we went looking. We chose JM Electric Inc. from Tom Martino's List. They scheduled us promptly and sent out Jeff one of their Techs. It is rare to be served by a technician like Jeff. He has a terrific personality and really knows his business. Due to the complexity of the problem, he took 4 hours working on solving it. This time included getting the parts at Home Depot, only to find out that they were used and sold as new and did not work. He went back and insured he got a totally new system. He never lost his cool or his personality. He kept us informed of his progress. Unlike many technicians we have had, he did not try to sell us other items that we did not need. He said part of his job and maybe most important was satisfying the customer. We can tell you without qualms that he did just that. I love the fact that they call and confirm an appointment before someone comes out. The technician they sent was professional, knowledgeable, respectful, pleasant, and had a sense of humor. The job was completed very well. Another thing I liked about J M Electric was they base the price off of the job, not an hourly rate. He ran into a little problem and the job took a little longer than anticipated but I didn't have to worry about it. more
