Jim and J.M. electric are the only company we called who came out to do a FREE estimate, guaranteed their work, pulled the permit themselves, and wrote up an estimate on-site before leaving. They were not the least expensive quote, but I believe they gave us the most professional work and backed it up well. more

We had 4 estimates for the work, which was to include wiring at the breaker box, conduit across the garage, cable from one end of the house to the other and finally a breaker box next to the hot tub. JM Electric was not the cheapest estimate but we had more confidence in Jim than the others. Jim's work was excellent (it took him all day) and he cleaned up after himself 100. Very satified. Where we are less happy with JM is the shenanigans with advertising and costs. They 'go by the book' for an estimate and don't have any wiggle room... BUT if you pay an annual fee to be a 'preferred customer' you get a discount... and $25 off if you give cans of food for the food bank. Just give me a bill, please. more

Jim was great about finding the electrical problem as a result of our cat loving to tip flower vases over near my office desk. He made sound and cost effective recommendations. I really liked the food drive promotion. JM Electric cares! more

Possibliy the best service I have had in years. Justin was on exactly on time for the trouble shooting appointment. He identified the problem within minutes - repaired the existing problem and took the time to recommend some very thoughtful and useful ideas for accomodating my handicapped daugthers disabilities. more

Include me in the "Wes" fan club. He was fantastic (just like everyone else said). Called me EXACTLY 15 minutes prior to my appointment. Showed up EXACTLY on time. Spent a bunch of time going over what I wanted, and explained numerous things to me. Loved the work he did, great attention to detail (which I expected seeing how punctual he was). He then went over everything he did, explaining everything to me and answering all of my questions (and I had a bunch). I have had a number of people come to my home, and unfortunately most won't be getting another call from me. Wes, on the other hand, will be. Sorry if my review sounds over the top, but you just can't beat good service, having someone who is kind and patient to walk someone unknowledgeable through everything they did, and then answer all their questions. So, you get the idea. Just call these guys and ask for Wes and you'll be writing glowing reviews just like myself and everyone else. more

Each time J M Electric has been here, they have done outstanding work. The last time they were here was after I had bought a new stove. When I pulled out the old stove I saw that it was hot-wired in, and I wouldn't dare touch it. I called J M Electric and they were here in minutes. more

I was very impressed with the service I received from JM Electric. The service manager was polite and professional, and scheduled an electrician to come to my house within two days. The time he quoted me was right on, showing good communications within the company. The day of the service, the electrician called to say he would be there in 15 minutes, and he arrived exactly 15 minutes later. No 4-hour window, or waiting and wondering if they would show up. The electrician provided a full estimate for the work to be performed and got started immediately. The quality of service was excellent, and the electrician explained everything that he was doing and why. Overall, I was perfectly satisfied with my experience and will definitely use JM Electric again, and recommend them to anyone I know who needs electrical work done. more

J M Electric has come twice, and both times they had excellent service. The second time we had them come out they did our stove for us. They did the electric work for hooking up our stove and they did our hood. The other one was for the attic fan they put in. Both times they went above and beyond our expectations. more

When I called J M Electric just to describe the issue I was having, I spoke to Justin and he was very polite on the phone. We were having our basement remodeled and the wiring in the crawl space looked like an explosion had gone off, I wasn't sure if it had been done well. He set up an appointment and was very nice on the phone. Justin called, and identified himself very nicely, to let me know that there was a change in technicians, and Wes that would be the tech coming to my house, he even described the color van he'd be in which was a really nice level of service. Wes phoned to let me know he was on his way. He introduced himself and identified himself. He had on shoe covers and was very friendly. We talked about what I needed done. He got to work right away, and didn't mess around. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything he needed to do to remedy the problem. He was clear and broke down everything from the work he would do to the cost of the work. Wes was able to get the job done quickly and the work was done well. He had a high degree of professionalism throughout the job. I was trained in the AT&T school of old fashioned customer service, and that's exactly what this company is bringing back. I appreciated how easy and nice they were to work with. This review is not trumped up at all, this was how my experience with them went! I will definitely use them again and would recommend them to anybody! more

JM Electric Inc. sent Justin to check out why my electric bill was so high. Justin found that my water heater and air conditioning was sucking up too much energy. He explained and examined everything in my household. He was more professional then the Xcel Energy company and offered more support. Justin also provided me with kilowatt savings tips. This company came out the same day i called. JM Electric Inc. is fast, friendly and very clean. I'm confident that my electric bills will be lowered for years to come. Thank You. more

The bottom line is that JM Electric gave us the best estimate (out of four bids), delivered to their estimate, were on-time, openly communicated what they were doing, treated our house with care, and were clean. The electrician, Jeff, was very nice and polite. He did quick work. He cleaned up after the job. He was knowledgeable. At all times during the installation, he asked our opinion and gave feedback. It was a pleasure to have him in our home (and I cannot say that about all electricians, technicians, etc... how have visited). He even walked us through the ceiling fan operation, and the best way to replace halogen bulbs. They ran a new line and switch, and hung a ceiling fan on a 20 ft ceiling with a 4 ft drop rod. The installation looked like it was done at house construction, it blended in with the existing switches and fixtures. From the catwalk, I see minimal sway in the fan at high speed. JM Electric did a great job. If the need comes up, we will definitely use them again. more
