For the price, I think they did a good job. I needed my front window fixed fast and they came out and did it the same day. I had a hard time understanding the guy on the phone which made me hesitant at first, but they came and got the job done. I would use again. more

Horrible service. Don't use these guys. Set up an appointment for noon, and the tech was no where to be found at 12:30. Called the office, was told that he was running late and that he would be there in about 20 minutes. About 45 minutes went by...called again, was told the tech was 8 minutes out. Waited another 40 minutes. Then I tried calling the number and were sent to voicemail several times. more

DON""T USE DIAMOND AUTO GLASS!!! 3/14/2012

I had Diamon Autoglass come to my home and replace my window. They showed up late and charged me a $20 service charge even though the website says it's free. They changed my window fairly fast but after a few days when it rained, I noticed that my wiper arms was installed incorrectly and the molding was falling off. I called them on a Friday afternoon to come back and fix it and was told that they would call me back with a time that the tech could come back. On Monday, when I still had not received a phone call, I called them back and they told me that the order had already been placed and they didn't know why the work hadn't been done yet, but he would call me right back. 4 hours later, I called them back and got the same story and that he would call me back. On Tuesday, I called them again and was told that they would check in to it and call me back (see a pattern here?) I called them again a few hours later and this time, they told me that they couldn't get a tech out until the next day between 9am and 10am, I agreed to the time. On Wednesday at 10am, I called them to find out why the tech wasn't there yet, they told me that he was running late and would be there soon. At 12pm, I called them again and they told me the tech went to lunch and would call me at 1pm when he gets back. at 1:30, I called them again and they told me they had the wrong address, I gave it to them again and he said the tech would call me when he is on his way. I said no, he doesn't need to call me, I have been here all day and will be here the rest of the day, just get here ASAP and fix my car! It is now 6:30 pm on Wednesday and they are not answering my calls anymore and the Tech still hasn't shown up. I have called them every 10 minutes for the last hour and still they won't answer my call. This has got to be the worst company I have ever had to deal with, I have called them at least 50 times in the last 4 days and am no closer to getting it fixed then I was when I started, and now they won't even take my calls! Not only would I NOT recommend this company, but I am going to write this review on every page that will listen! more

This is the second time this year I had to turn to Safelite to replace a window in my car. While I've had a run of bad luck with broken windows, it is very comforting to know your guys are there. The first time I used Safelite, I had to have my windshield totally replaced. A flying rock on the interstate caused a major run in the glass and there was no way to repair it. This time, a flying rock completely shattered my rear passenger windows. From the initial phone calls to the installation process, I was met with efficient, friendly and professional courtesy, and the jobs were complete early the very next day. Safelite always had exactly what I needed and I didn't have to wait days on end for parts to come in. On each occasion, the technicians did a beautiful and clean job. While I hope that I have no more broken windows for a very, very, very long time. I can find comfort in knowing that I don't have to stress on having a window replaced or repaired. I will strongly recommend Safelite to anyone I know, and I again thank you and everyone involved in your company and for making my experience a pleasant one. more

A broken windshield is never a welcome event, but your company made it pleasant. We had to change our appointment time at almost the last minute, and you accommodated us with no problem. more

RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT!!! 12/28/2010

So I am trying to figure out how to make a long story short. On OCT 4th I got a window for my friend?s car, due to my kid breaking it. So she got a quote for 450$...They met my quote...but I did tell them the incorrect window size (my bad!!!) But the quote they met was for the correct window... (Even though I told them the incorrect size.) So they did come out same day and have the incorrect window (which was my fault.) Then the next day or so they brought the correctly window after I apologized for the incorrect information. Well this is when the trouble started. They sold me a window and installed the window but the rear defrost didn?t work. I called them and told them that the defrost didn?t work and they told me that they would send out someone to look at it...like 8 times!!! So after the 2nd week of hearing I will have someone out there. I called them and was upset I was now being told that my request was rejected due to me giving them the incorrect window size and that there was 100$ difference between the window they quoted me and they window I got. Which I then explained to the manager, that the quote was met for the correct window size. So, here we went again...a manger signed off on it and told me exactly how they would have to fix this defrost. I was told some one would be out to fix this ASAP... so a few days went by and they send some guy out that can?t speak English and tells us he doesn?t know how to fix it. So now I call them and they are telling me that it?s the vehicle and not the window and that I would have to prove to them it was the window. So now I had to spend 100$ to get the window diagnosed and sent them the paper stating it was the window? by now it?s the beginning of DEC. of so. So they tell me they will have to get a window from Wisconsin or some place and have it sent freight, it will be here in a week or so? then a week goes by and they ordered the incorrect window (imagine that!!) so now I am being told it will be another week. So they by 13th I am told the window is there at there shop and that someone would be sent out to fix it. Well guess what no one shows up? I ended up having to drive out there and was told that I they would not help me? I told them that I wanted the manager or owner or who ever and I was not leaving with out my window. Long story short I told them I was getting my lawyer on the phone and how convenient they were able to drive down the street and get me a window installed with in an hour. These people are full of it? I left out a lot of details! They have no idea how to deal with people that are upset with there service and BS you all the way around expecting to get away with it?and to top it off?I still have to have the window reinstalled because it shakes!!!! Screw these people they will be hearing from my lawyers. more

Good and Bad 7/23/2009

I'll make this short and simple...I was told 5p, but they'd try to make it out sooner, they did. They told me it'd take 30 to 40 mins, it did. The charged my card the wrong amount, but aknowledged it quickly. Said my card would be credited back within 2 to 3 business days. The amount was off, so I called. They promised to call me back after they had called the folks who run their CC's, I never received that phone call. Next day I called back and they acted like it was okay they didn't call me back. Then proceeded to tell me that it would be 2 to 3 business days for the money to get to me, then 5 days, so we will see if I actually get the bit of money they owe me. Also, when the guy took off my toll tag and placed it back on, it's not really sticking. I'm going to be quite annoyed if I have to buy a new tolltag. The other person was right, the guy wasn't dressed professional, but he installs glass for a living, and it was 110 degrees outside, what are you going to expect? a suit and tie? I called out Diamond Auto Glass Repair in Irving Texas to repair my broken auto glass. They arrived almost one hour late and never called to let us know. When the auto glass repair technician arrived, he was a twenty something male that was very unprofessional in appearance and could not speak english.
