You should know the following review is about Easy Fitness with Jeannie Studio in Union, NJ. I too was a member of this studio and agree 100% with MariaPia. The Studio is way too small and is in the basement of an apartment building. I agree the instructors are so far and more on the order of a Lucille Roberts. Because the space is so small, the studio is way overcrowded and for the amount of money, 35.00/mnth, you should be able to take a class. More importantly, the instructors should be good, and they definitely are not. With all the options that are out there, I dont know why anyone would join this place. We noticed on your facebook page that you are ?Planning for an Expansion and you are looking for new instructors? We hope when you say expansion you mean finding new space. The studio is too small and very claustrophobic. There are no windows except for the small window in the front. Because the ceiling is so low and the space is so small, you feel like you are in a basement. We hope you ?expand? to a more a suitable suitable location on ground floor with windows. Thank God you are also advertising for new instructors. I have been taking class for over ten years and your instructor?s seem to be beginners and not very challenging. Because you only offer classes with no cardio equipment, no locker rooms or showers. The classes should be top shelf. They are not. For the money you are charging $70 dollars to join and $35 dollars a month, you need to move the club to a more suitable location and use the money we are paying you to hire a decent instructors. I have been a member of a few health clubs over in my time and my experiences have been not so good. I was a member of Bally, and as well as a member of Retro. After a few months of being a member at either of the two, I decided to look around again. The health clubs were overcrowded, no one really cared about my welfare and as a result, I achieved zero results. I joined Image 2000 Health Club for Women in union NJ in this past month expecting the same volume oriented, non caring atmosphere. Boy was I wrong! Now I know why the club has been in business for the past 21 years. I truly love this club and highly recommend it!! My personal trainer sat down with me and did a thorough evaluation of my current fitness level and recommended a program that I could live with. He stayed with me throughout my workout encouraging me and motivating me to be the best that I could be. In the past couple of weeks I have already lost 6 lbs. The classes are exceptional and I especially love the zumba class and the new TRX training. I never find myself waiting in line to get on equipment and the club is immaculately kept!! The locker room and day spa are a beautiful addition and have already taken advantage of it by getting a facial. They also have child care 7 days a week which gives me the time to exercise while they watch my child. If you want a health club that's different from the rest with a staff that truly cares, and really care about your success, Image 2000 Health Club for Women in union is the place to be. more

It troubles me to read the review by Yana, Cecilia, Nancy King, M Alvarez, Charlene, and all the other friends of Jeannie who she got to write these reviews, as well as Jeannie writing her own reviews. These reviews are fabrications and made up information. Sometimes individual write derogatory comments in order to try to make them look better. This is the case. None of you who wrote these so called reviews have ever met David Nahama or most likely or were ever even members of Image 2000. You have never been in business or even been part of the health club community. I more

You can tell some of these reviews are fake! Who really knows the first and last names of their trainer??!! and look at the things that are said ""freeze privileges"". if you really a member writing a review you dont talk like that on a review and you make it quick and short. Beside the annoying owner who has dumb rules regarding memberships, the gym is nice,spacious, enough equipment, classes are great, front desk customer service is excellent only thing that makes people leave are the high ridiculous prices and the owner! He would maybe make more money if he just stood behind the door and let someone run the business for him. You can tell at the way he treats his employees that he is just too much. I was in the middle of a conversation with someone at the front desk and he cut her off and told her to go do something. VERY rude. People have even canceled membership because they refuse to keep paying him even tho they love the gym. He need to back off and let the gym be a gym n not a place of gossip!!! more

My husband and I enrolled in image 2000 and image planet about a year ago. We love the club, I have previously been a member of other health clubs and I can honestly say that joining image 2000 has truly been a blessing. I love the fact that the club caters to women only. The classes are wonderful and the instructors are a very high level of expertise is truly motivating. The club is constantly upgrading their equipment. I love the treadmills which each have their own personal TVs with over 250 channels to choose from. My husband is part of Image planet the co-ed side and enjoys the spinning classes. The best part about the membership is the pay as you go program which allows me to stop my membership if I can more

I wanted to cancel my membership. I was charged for not having the yellow copy of my contract. Who does that? I signed up years ago.. I was forced into it by the owner and I never even used the gym. The equipment is old and run down.. What a joke. more

I am writing to express to you, about the wonderful experience both my friend and I have had with the staff at this site. Although, most of the staff members I have encountered at this facility have been very pleasant and friendly, two of the personal trainers at this site stand out above the rest Venex Nicholas and Nelson Torres. Upon joining As Venex began to explain to us the perks of being a member of the facility, he saw the uneasiness in both my friend and my face. Surprisingly enough he worked with us. Honestly, it was his personable approach that changed the dynamics of my initial decision. He did not pressure us, get an attitude when he thought this sale may not go through nor did he get upset when we asked lots of questions. He kept the same smile and worked with us until closing! He even missed part of his playoff game on TV, helping us and I know how important that is for a man. His patience is what actually sold me. I thought that if he could be patient with us as more

I recently joined image 2000 Health club for women about 6 months ago. I love this place !!! My goal was to lose 20 pounds and thanks to my personal trainer Nelson I have more then exceeded my goal. He is most attentive and actually cares about me and my success. The classes are simply the best , i reccomend the Zumba class with Lynn and the Box areobics class with Joanne. I never have to sign up or wait in line for the class or the weight training equipment, and because i am a single parent i am truly appreciative of the child care which they have 7 days a week. I highly recommend if your looking for a great club with honest people this is the place to join. I posted reviews every where i could find to show people that there really is a gym that will help you along your way to better health. : ) more

What a wonderful place. I drive 45 minutes just to go to Image 2000 and Image Planet because I get exceptional service, never have to wait to get on equipment and I get personalized attention. My wife loves Image 2000 with the great classes and the new day spa they just built with the luxurious locker room. I totally disagree with the other couple negative reviews. They have the latest equipment and recently renovated the locker rooms. Their freeze privileges are very flexible and they're the only club that lets you freeze and stop your membership if you choose not to come without any cost and no limit on the amount of times you freeze. It was very helpful to me and my wife when we went on vacation, and during my wife's pregnancy. When I was a member of Ballys they locked me in for 3 years and New York Sports charged me 25 dollars per month just to freeze my membership. I need HELP to lose weight!! I use the Image 2000 gym and when the Spa opened I started using their body wraps wow what a difference!! I've lost so many inches I could never on my own.I havent reached my target yet but when i do i put my before and after ""inches"" lost...best part is they so close to home. thank you Image 2000 Spa!!! more

Nice location, convenient because it's also within a gym and there are a lot of different programs all these facilites offer. I joined the gym to get my blood pressure down but when they7 opened the Spa it was an extra perk to the whole place. I bought a package where I get a few different services and like to schedule them after work to help me relax and go to my ""happy place"". Between the cardio at the gym and the relaxed Spa atmosphere and of course eating more healthy my blood pressure is now under control. I would say to go try it, we all need to relax. more

I went to Image 2000 Spa on a Complimentary Session for a Facial and really didn't expect much. I was wrong! What incredible service - I was treated like a part of the family as everyone was SO nice and catering towards me. As the whole experience was so amazing - I've given gift certificates to EVERYONE for birthdays, a bridal shower and a few other occasions - I want others to feel as pampered as I was and they always come back from there very happy. I highly recommend this Spa - I'll prob run into you if you go...I'm always there, lol! more
