Absolutely 100 satisfied. Thomas was on time and had the door installed in no time. Quality work and friendly service. I liked his price so much I've had him quote out some other home projects I need to get done. I was very pleased with his prices on those as well! I'll definitely be calling him up for those. Fast, quality service for garage door repair 5/9/2011

I was referred to "I Know A Guy Garage Doors" by a friend of mine here in Bellevue. I called them to replace a broken spring. They scheduled the work very quickly, showed up with the right components to fix my door, and serviced them at the same time. I was surprised and thankful they were willing to travel to Bellevue for this repair, it's a long way from their location. They did a great job, and the price was right. If you need a garage door repair, give these folks a call! more

I have needed garage doors for years so I arranged four companies to assess the job and submit quotes. Thomas, from I Know A Guy was the first one available. He came out with very short notice, on Sunday, which was his day off. He was very professional; the type of guy who looks you in the eye when he speaks and shakes your hand to assure you that he stands behind his products. His garage doors were competitively priced and he had better openers than his other three competitors. The other three quotes I received were all within a few hundred dollars of each other, but Thomas from I Know A Guy was the only one who took the time to go over the main issues of my install. My install was in very minimal space and I knew before I started that it would be an issue. Thomas didn't hide additional costs and I am very happy with my install. He left with a hand shake, his card, and his word that he would back up his product; all I needed to do was call. Thomas even followed up several weeks later with an email to make sure I was happy with everything. I am. Thanks again. more

Purchased 3 Garage Doors + Openers 4/20/2011

We purchased 3 garage doors plus openers. Thomas came in and added everything in a quick and efficient manner. They are working fine, plus we got the Energy Credit for our taxes. He also hauled away some of our boxes from the move. We saved apprix $1000 by going to I Know A Guy. more

Great Service. Great Value. Highly Recommend 4/20/2011

Our garage door spring snapped, leaving our garage door half-open. I called several local vendors to get pricing. While others put me in voicemail, Tom answered the phone right away. His price was substantially less than anyone in town. While he did not have the part in stock, he drove to Puyallup the same day, picked up the spring, and came to my home within hours. Instead of just giving me the spring, he installed it for me in a matter of minutes, made the adjustments, and had it working again in no time. Tom was not only very knowledgeable, he was very personable, and made me feel like I was his best customer. In addition to garage doors, we also talked about replacing our front entry door, hollow-core interior doors, and trim. Tom is very service oriented, conscientious, and provides outstanding value. His company name is catchy-too. I would highly recommend I Know a Guy Garage Doors. more
