Great Service. Great Value. Highly Recommend 4/20/2011

Our garage door spring snapped, leaving our garage door half-open. I called several local vendors to get pricing. While others put me in voicemail, Tom answered the phone right away. His price was substantially less than anyone in town. While he did not have the part in stock, he drove to Puyallup the same day, picked up the spring, and came to my home within hours. Instead of just giving me the spring, he installed it for me in a matter of minutes, made the adjustments, and had it working again in no time. Tom was not only very knowledgeable, he was very personable, and made me feel like I was his best customer. In addition to garage doors, we also talked about replacing our front entry door, hollow-core interior doors, and trim. Tom is very service oriented, conscientious, and provides outstanding value. His company name is catchy-too. I would highly recommend I Know a Guy Garage Doors. more

I contact "I Know A Guy" because of his name alone. (That's a great name for a business!) I called him @ 9:30 this morning with a broken garage door. By 10:30 he was here, fixed it and was gone. Absolutely great service and great prices. I'd recommend him to anyone. more

I contact "I Know A Guy" because of his name alone. (That's a great name for a business!) I called him @ 9:30 this morning with a broken garage door. By 10:30 he was here, fixed it and was gone. Absolutely great service and great prices. I'd recommend him to anyone. more

Quick, honest, excellent 4/3/2011

Thomas had our door fixed before another company could even get out to make an estimate. Parts at cost, labor more than reasonable. We ended up over paying him a little because of a miscalculation, he cut a check and had it to us the next day (a Sunday). Service and integrity clearly top notch. And when was done, the door looked brand new and ran quieter than it ever has. I'll tell my friends if they ever need a repair or install, I know a guy.... more

Spring Replacement 3/31/2011

Thomas was very accommodating on the appointment time and prompt. He did great work as far as I can tell and he undercut the competition by at least $30 on price. He had all parts on hand and provided same day service. I would definitely recommend him for overhead garage door repair. more

I Know A Guy Garage Doors is professional and personable. 3/28/2011

I Know A Guy Garage Doors gave me a quote pretty quickly and then took the effort to come to my house to make sure his quote was accurate, which it was. He was on time, which was very important to me since I had to take time off of work for this. He was very intelligent and sensitive to what I needed done. He took extra steps in explaining what might add further insulation to my garage, by making suggestions like adding caulking to certain areas etc. He finished the job quickly. Throughout the job he was very pleasant and personable and not grumpy. I highly recommend his services. Cassandra Noble more

repaired garage door that was backed into 3/1/2011

Tom came the night I backed into the garage gave me pricing on options to repair, or replace. It was fixed when promised and he even adjusted our garage door opener and fixed the problem I had with it closing when it was cold out. Really appreciated his hard work. more
