I Know A Guy Garage Door went out of their way for their work! They did a job 100 miles away from my home. First, they came to do the job in one of my homes and then did work in my other home 100 miles away. They did the work early in the morning. The price was fair. I chose I Know A Guy Garage Door because of their presentation. He was approachable and easy to talk to, and he answered my questions. When he came up with the solution to our problem, we ordered the openers. I think he's a very honest guy and doesn't fool around with the prices of the items he installs. He's reasonable. I had a difficult job for them removing a very old thousand pound industrial type garage door. They kept at it and did a great job putting in the new door. more

Excellent work and customer-oriented service! 9/9/2011

Thomas from I Know A Guy Garage Doors did an excellent job. I had him install two garage doors for me. I appreciated that he offers competitive pricing. One of the most important reasons why I had such a good experience was because I messed up on the sizing which messed up the ordering. He made an extra trip to take the correct measurements to reorder the doors and he didn't charge me for the trouble even though it was my mistake! I will definitely use him again and highly recommend him to anybody! more

TJ is absolutely great. He is so quick to respond and always bdoes his very best to save me money while still getting the job professionally completed. This is the 3rd time I've needed to cal on him, and it wont be the last. No one else will ever get my garage door business. more

A good experience after an aggravating problem 8/19/2011

After the tension spring on my garage broke with an alarming bang, it was even difficult to manually raise and lower the garage door. Fortunately, I found "I Know a Guy." I called him the next morning, he called back as promised by early afternoon, and came out by late afternoon. When he realized he was missing a part, he cheerfully drove 10 miles back into town for it. The garage was fixed in no time for a reasonable price. I will recommend "I Know a Guy" to anybody who needs garage door repair. This guy goes out above and beyond to help his customers. more
