Hurst Hardwoods

I purchased some flooring on Amazon and Hurst Hardwoods promptly sent out the order via UPS. UPS claimed to have delivered it, but I never received my package. After contacting Hurst, they tried to work with UPS and, when the package could not be located, did not hesitate to send a replacement out as soon as possible. I got the replacement quickly and couldn't be happier with the service I received. Would recommend strongly. more

We received excellent, knowledgeable service from Hurst Hardwoods. Received our hardwoods in two shipments, without any problems. The hardwoods came in perfect shape with no defects. The Brazilian Walnut is our favorite. The Brazilian Teak and Santos Mahogany are beautiful. We are pleased with the color and quality so far. Time will be the test! more

I ordered about 450 sq ft of brazilian walnut solid hardwood flooring. I had been looking at local flooring companies and on-line. I came across Hurst, read a lot of reviews on different forums and decided to order. I'm so pleased that I did. The quality is excellent. The price is phenomenal. The colors from plank to plank are really very consistent given the higher expected variation in this species. The finish is great! The installers were very pleased and my wife can't get over the beauty of the wood. The shipment was delivered within a few days of my order and we didn't have to unload the product off the truck. None of the 25 boxes were damaged during shipment. I'm very pleased with Hurst Hardwoods and have already recommended them to a couple of my neighbors . more

I have ordered three separate times from them for rift & quarter sawn 1/2 inch oak flooring. Each time they were very easy to deal with, the pricing was equal or slightly better than most (I did shop my custom order around) and the communication level was very proactive and helpful. I would recommend them for hardwood flooring material. more

Our requirement for clear, northern maple flooring was delivered on time and the quality of the milling, sizing etc was excellent. We were building a large house, so our specifications were exacting and timing was very important. more

I was under an installation time crunch and had to call to expedite the order, but Lee Hurst came through for me with two day delivery of hard-to-find walnut hardwood. The quality was as represented and I've had no problem reaching Lee and this company for follow-up questions. I would buy from them again and have plans to do so multiple time in the near future. We purchased Brazilian Walnut last fall. Dan, the customer services rep was nice enough and answered my questions. I purchases select grade flooring because we wanted the nicest quality possible.........what a joke. This stuff was milled so poorly it was impossible to lay without gaps everywhere...by the time we realized how bad it was it was too late! We had already installed the majority of it and we could not afford to re do it. In all honesty, we never contacted Hurst after we realized the poor qualy of the product because at that point it seemed impossible to rectify the situation and it was, to say the least, completely devestating. We made a giant mistake buying from this company. All I want at this point is to make my concerns known so that someone else does not make the same giant mistake Buy from someone else Please! RESPONSE FROM Hurst Hardwoods: This customer purchased her flooring in July 2011 and did not notify us of any issues until March 2012. At this point the floor was already installed and we were not given a chance to replace the flooring. If the customer would of told us about the issues when she noticed them we would of taken care of the problem right away. Instead she installed the flooring and complained about it 8 months later. It is standard procedure to inspect flooring before you install it and if there is an issue the retailer should be notified right away to be given a chance to correct the problem. In this case the customer said nothing and just complained 8 months later. Customer satisfaction is extremely important to us and we would like to be given the chance to make all customers happy. more

Product was well packaged. Some partes bowed after acclemation time, but not excessive. Finish was very good. more
