I searched and searched for engineered flooring for 2+ years to find what I liked and could afford. Suddenly stumbled onto Hurst's website and found just what we wanted. Ordering, shipping and receiving to my house was super easy and fast. And my "factory seconds" product looks amazing-we like it better than facory firsts due to some of the unique variations in the planks. We were advised to order 15-20% over our square footage but nearly every board is our stack was perfectly useable somewhere. Super happy with Hurst and I recommend them all the time! more

Everything was great from start to finish. My only complaint is that thresholds were not available that matched my floors so a custom matched threshold was my option and they did not match my floors. I had to purchase some locally that were pre-finished. more

Brazilian Teak 9/16/2013

I bought about 1000 sq ft of 3/4" think 5" wide Brazilian Teak and put it down on the first floor of my house. I get tons of complements on the floor and they can't believe the price I paid for it. I had an inspection done in the house shortly after laying it and the inspector commented on how solid my floor felt to other homes he had been in. Hurst Hardwoods was great to work with and I will be back in a couple of months when I put wood flooring down in my vacation condo. I highly recommend this vendor and their products, and I recommend you call them when ready to purchase so that you get exactly what you need. more

My husband and I first bought from Hurst Hardwoods in 2009. We purchased approximately 1200 square feet of Tiete Rosewood for a home we had recently bought. Our customer service rep was first rate and very helpful and the product is simply beautiul. Our wood was shipped from Florida to Indiana in a timely manner with no damage. Because our installers did such an amazing job with the installation we ended up with an extra six boxes which we kept for possible later use. In June 2013 we purhchased a rental home and decided to install our remaining rosewood in the dining room but we needed an extra 3 boxes. Again I contacted Hurst Hardwoods and we were able to have them send us these boxes which we received in less than a week. We had priced this same product at Lowe's before our initial buy. Even paying for shipping, we saved over $4000 from the cost at Lowe's. I would highly recommend Hurst Hardwoods for great service, great products, and a great cost. more

slight hiccup 7/25/2013

My order was delivered in the time frame they estimated but it was missing 1/3 of the order. The material came from a 3rd party supplier and was packed and shipped by the 3rd party. When I explained that this was causing a delay to my project and I'd appreciate overnight or express shipping of the missing parts, I was told "I'll look into it". Unfortunately I never heard back about that request, the missing items arrived 3 to 4 business days later (the normal shipping time). It would have been nice if something were done to try and make up for the mistake. Other than that, the sales person I worked with was good at communicating back and forth and getting my order processed. more

positive experience 7/19/2013

I found them online after having trouble securing a "fair" price from any local wood places. Not only were they the best price online, but the level of customer service was very high. Although I picked a difficult wood that wasn't readily available, they secured the wood I was looking for, and made sure I was kept in the loop at every stage of the process. The wood is now installed, and I couldn't be happier! I would recommend this company. more

Very Happy with Product 7/17/2013

I searched the internet to find a direct source for unfinished cherry hardwood flooring. Hurst Hardwoods had a great price, but not having dealt with them before I was not sure what to expect. I ordered select grade wood and after the flooring arrive I have to say I was very impressed with the quality of the materials. The delivery was on-time as scheduled. They also assisted me with some installation questions as well. I would definitely do business with Hurst Hardwoods again and recommend them to others. Thanks, Tom Homeowner Hudson, OH more

I bought brazillian teak hardwood, and I love it. I put it in my livingroom, and it is beautiful. Very pleased with the quality of wood, for a great price. Very minimal damaged waste. Will be buying again. more

Love my new wood floors - delivered when promised! 5/10/2013

David who was my contact person at Hurst Hardwood followed- up with my order and it was delivered on time as promised. The only problem was that one of the boxes had some of the flooring pieces damaged (approx. 8 to 10 pieces). Didn't realize that until my installer actually opened the box. Instlaller did not want to use that box so that I could get a new box or a credit for it. David of Hurst hardwood said that would be difficult to do; had to take pictures and if there was only a small amount manufacture would not honor a credit or replacement. I was very disappointed about this. Otherwise, everything else worked out fine. more

Very pleased 5/1/2013

Floor went down very well.Out of 250 sq.ft. I had 1 piece that was not true width, tapered 5" to 4 11/16" x 60" long, of course I didn't find out until the next row went down. Only other wish is that there could be an equal amount of lengths in each box, seems like a lot of shorts. The floor looks great. more
