We're glad we turned to Hurst Hardwoods for our remodeled kitchen flooring. Needing to be completely sympathetic to the 1930's era of the house, we were able to match the existing white oak flooring with new material in the new kitchen. Hurst was able to get us the right dimensions, and correct balance of rift cut and quarter sawn boards to match our old house. Best yet, they got us the 10 foot long boards that matched the old 1930's material for a seamless transition into the new kitchen! Great work folks! I recent purchased hardwood floors from David at Hurst flooring. He was extremely helpful and kind to me. Called several times to determine what kind of floor that would work for us, and all the extra parts that we need to complete the project. As a result of a burst pipe during our Atlanta cold snap, I found myself in need of a new wood floor. I decided to replace my solid hardwood with engineered wood. I looked at many different local retailers and several online ones---I did not find what I was looking for in terms of quality and value until I found Hurst Hardwoods. I was a bit worried about not being able to see a display of the wood for myself, due to me being here in Georgia, but I was sent pictures of the Tigerwood I'd be getting (different views, so I could see the wear layer thickness) to save me money on the shipping of the actual samples. I placed my order with David and I could not have been more pleased when my wood arrived. The shipping was fast, the delivery courier was professional and the wood was beautiful. The quality of flooring I received far surpassed what I paid for it. My floor installation is almost complete and I can't wait to see the finished product. I was very impressed with the service and quality product that Hurst has to offer. I purchased 1000 sq ft of cherry in a 4" plank. The wood arrived in 3 days actually a day ahead of time. The sizes of planks were as described with lots of 7' + sized pieces. I will definitely be using them again on our flooring projects. more

I’m a contractor in NYC, where quality often comes at a great premium. The project I was working on was a gut reno, combining two apartments into one on the top floor of a brownstone. It involved completely tearing out the old floors down to the joists, building new sub floors - the whole thing. My design was for wide plank solid oak with a custom finish. When I found Hurst Hardwoods and placed my order for 7” unfinished white oak 1'-10’ planks I almost couldn’t believe how reasonable the pricing was. I was told by my floor installation guys that I should be very cautious as they knew all the good places that flooring came from and were not familiar with Hurst. After a phone call and several email exchanges with the company I decided to make my purchase. When I received the wood, it was beautiful and when the floors were put down the quality of the planks really came through. Excellent straight edges, only two pieces out of the entire order had small splits and had to be trimmed. My flooring guys were impressed and wanted the companies information. The floors are now finished and they are top-notcn, beautiful and better than I could have imagined, Also, I know after interacting with Craig personally that if there are any issues they are handled with integrity, honesty and speed - all values that you can’t put a price on. And, the things they can put prices on are more than fair. I recommend Hurst first! more

I must admit I was skeptical at first. However, it has been one of the best internet purchase experiences I've ever had. It worked as promised and the wood flooring supplies were great. Cheaper and better than the services I could of got locally, imagine that. I would definitely do it again and recommend to anyone more

The flooring was priced lower than my local "discount" retailer. The shipping didn't exceed the difference and the materials arrived within 2 weeks of the order date. Daniel (salesman) was polite, informative, and a great help on sourcing all my materials. more

After having water damage to our hardwood floors in our dining room and foyer and unable to find the exact wood sold in our area I found Hurst Flooring on the internet and called for samples. I did not receive a call from Hurst saying the flooring had been shipped. The first call I received was from UPS regarding delivery. The boxes of flooring contained quite a bit of flooring that I would not have installed had there been another choice. In spite of that the flooring looks fairly well installed. more

This is the third time we have ordered tiete rosewood flooring from Hurst hardwoods and each time we have been extremely happy with the service, the product, and the price. We are installing the flooring now and were just commenting on how consistently beautiful the flooring is. Each time we have ordered the recommended 10percent extra and have never used it because there are just very few if any bad boards. Each time we have ordered the order was processed quickly and the wood delivered within a week. I would highly recommend Hurst Hardwoods to anyone. more

Very good experience the only small downside was that the pieces of wood I got a deal on are short, 12-24 inches. But the flooring came out great despite lots of short pieces. more

I needed some Brazilian Cherry to complete the dining room. It was important that the product match what I already had down. After some Googling, I stumbled upon Hurst Hardwood. I called them one Saturday morning and the rep (Daniel) answered all of my questions and put me at ease for buying the product without having seen it. When it arrived a week later by UPS freight, I was ecstatic to see that it matched perfectly! The quality of the flooring is excellent, as was the service I received (the price too!). I don't plan on installing any more hardwood, but if I do, I'd definitely get it through Hurst! more
