I just read through some of the comments about Hugs and Mega. Some of the lies posted about HUGS are just sickening. Hugs Level 6 girls were doing so well in their first year at level 6 that they competed in a few meets at level 7. They were not even at level 7 for a few months, that is why they chose to compete at level six state. By the way Hugs took 4th at level 6 state with many state champions and all girls were first year level 6. HUGS Level seven several state champions. Level 8 we have only 4 girls, 2 of which were state champions, both went to regional and 1 took first the other 3rd at regional. Level 5 we have state champions. MEGA had no state champions in 5, 6, 7, or 8. Comparing these two gyms is not even close. MEGA does well at one level, the lowest competitive level, one year, and you think that you can even come close to HUGS, what a joke. Hugs took 7th this year and 11th last year at level 4. Last year MEGA finished 38th for level 4. This year MEGA level 5 finished 36th. MEGA had to add multiple gymnastics meets into their schedule at the end of the year, because so many girls had not qualified for state.
Besides the obvious difference in gymnastics talent as shown by the overall record, Hugs is a clean and friendly environment. Both my girls are in the program and the other gymnasts have become their friends. They have sleep overs with them and enjoy the club and the coaches greatly.
