Best

We just checked in for one night, as we had a (Coldplay) concert to go to at the AA Center (about a 15 min walk, by the way). We were lucky enough to get upgraded to the Rock Star...

Love this Hotel ans the decor! 3/25/2009

Impressive hip decor for a Hotel, fun nightlife for Dallas, and a great locaton if you are looking to centrally locate yourself in the Dallas Downtown area. This downtown Dallas hotel has a fantastic restaurant and the pool has pretty women and hunky men in the summer! My girlfriends go there when it warms up to sip by the pool during the great happy hours they have and show of their new summer strappy dresses. I say give it a try, there really is something for everybody at this hip and cool hotel in downtown Dallas. Pros: Hip hotel and great service Cons: not a one more

Fun UpScale and artistic 8/29/2008

This is a Dallas HotSpot; trendy and alot of fun. I wish I knew about places like this when I was younger and single. Great spot and very modern artistic atmosphere. Pros: neat place Cons: more of a fast paced crowd more

Fun if you want to party - but... 8/15/2008

ZaZa has a great restaurant and bar area. The hotel rooms are unique and stylish. And that's where it ends. For business travel, this hotel is a bust. The walls and floors are thin, the nightlife can be heard on all floors. Rooms on the street side are greeted with incessant noise from the lobby and valet area, and rooms on the poolside are no better. Internet access is hit-and-miss. While turn-down service complete with candles is a nice touch, I'll choose ZaZa for dinner at Dragonfly - and then drive to another hotel for a restful night's sleep. Pros: Speedy valet, great restaurant and bar area Cons: Noisy, ill-equipped for business travel more

nice decor. other than that will not be returning. 8/1/2008

A friend flew in town to see me so, and had never been to Dallas. I wanted to treat her to a really nice hotel so I chose Hotel ZaZa. I had heard the hotel was very nice with a great bar and pool. We walked in, it is very eclectic and cool, walked up to the front desk. Not greeted with a smile from the brunnette standing there. First mistake. The room was very nice and hip looking. The pool is SMALL. Way too small for my taste. We were sitting in our chairs with our backs litterally in the bar area. The room service menu is VERY small as well. Stayed there on a wednesday night and the bar was completely empty. W asked the hotel to take us to a mexican restaurant near by and the driver was seriously the worst driver in Dallas. Called a cab for the ride back. There is an iron but no ironing board. You have to call room service to have them bring it up. Didn't even bother. AT 7am I was woken up by people walking upstairs and moving things around. At 9:45, I finally went downstairs to a manager to tell them I can hear everything coming from upstairs. The walls are super thin. She said sorry and she would figure out what's going on. The moving from upstairs did stop, so I guess housecleaning starts VERY early. The manager never called to ask if everything was okay. I checked out that afternoon, (after paying my 18.00 valet for parking overnight!!!) and will not be staying there ever again. I will go to the bar on a weekend when it's busy but as for staying at the hotel again, it does not live up to it's hype. I give it 3 stars. Pros: Very nice decor. great workout facility Cons: way overpriced. poor customer service. walls are VERY thin. more

Best Place in Dallas 5/12/2008

I live in Dallas and have guest quite often, I always suggest Hotel ZaZa because of the pool - its a great way to spend you day when it is so hot out. Pros: Pool, Rooms more

Didn't do a good job of the details 2/26/2008

The hotel is in a good location and has a young and hip feel. However, I think they forget the details for the young and hip. First, they have the WORST room service of any hotel I have stayed at. My boyfriend and I were there for a long holiday, we like to use room service. Not only is it VERY slow their selection of menu is awful and they close by 11 pm. After 11 you can get ""a turkey sandwhich, a ham sandwhich or a salad"" which is literally what they said. Otherwise, you can order Chinese into your room...which their food wasn't bad. But we were shocked that at a 4.5 start hotel we had to order in Chinese food!!! The staff is very snobby and aren't willing to go the extra mile to help. I probably won't stay there again, I think it's a waste of money to stay at such a nice place with the disappointing customer service. Pros: Cool hotel, good location Cons: bad room service, bad customer service more

One of the Best 11/22/2005

my husband stayed at zaza several times when traveling for business and raved about it each time he returned home. i finally got to experience it for myself as part of our evacation from new orleans for hurricane katrina. what a treat! i loved it from the moment i arrived in the lobby. and things just got better from there. our room was spacious and beautifully furnished. the bathroom was grand (i love big, new hotel bathrooms). after settling in our room a bit we went downstairs to the restaurant bar and had appetizers and drinks. the bar staff was so friendly and really knew what they were doing. max and j.p. were great. i found the entire staff to be friendly and helpful. we will definitely return, but hopefully next time it will be under better circumstances. Pros: beautifully appointed, spacious rooms, great bathroom more

Like staying a brothel 12/14/2003

Hotel ZaZa tries to be the sexy, young hotel for the hip young traveler, but it just comes off as being the trashy little sister who wants attention. Colorful and fun to look at, but not luxurious by any means. They are all about an image and could care less about their older, less sexy guests. It shows in their service. Pros: pretty use of color Cons: too small, trashy decor, bad service more
