Run, RUN away from Horizon Properties if you are looking for a rental. These guys are so bad that I created an account just to warn others. I rented from them for 5 years and always paid rent a little early and never late. They seem ok while you are a tenant, but when you move out--Watch out! They kept all of our deposit and even added on more charges so that we had a negative balance and supposedly owe them money! They dinged us for every little thing, even if it is just for straight up wear and tear (they are not allowed to but do it anyway). They said my damages to the property were about $3K. You would assume that's because I trashed the place, right? NOPE! I cleaned the place and even had friends and family over to help clean it too. Now I'm going to have to take them to court for my deposit. There's more, but I don't want to write an essay on here. Don't believe me? Wait till you move out! I've never had a deposit straight out not be returned ever, except for this place! Seems to more

I have nothing but good things to say about Horizon Rentals. The staff are always friendly and eager to help. I have been leasing for 2 years with them and I am only leaving because I am buying a home. Any time I had an issue they answered promptly and were eager to assist. Maryanna in maintenance is awesome, sh even gave me a tip on how to save myself from plumbing bill. Jane in accounting is very cool to deal with as well. I think Lisa or Janet even helped me get the home to begin with and vouched for me. I am totally happy with their services. Good Job! more

I think Horizon Properties is great. I've worked around property management companies for a long time now and unfortunately after renting from a few, I've had a bad taste in my mouth in terms of how they conducted business. I appreciate that Horizon is always friendly, responsive, and doesn't bother us unnecessarily. The few times there was ever any confusion or concern regarding how repairs were handled or billed, they did a fine job getting things worked out. I also appreciate how they handled our termination and their willingness to try and assist us in relocating. It might now sound like a lot of praise, but I would recommend people to lease from them, and that takes a lot for me to feel comfortable saying that. more

I had not rented a property in many, many years and it was an overwhelming situation that I was put in with my divorce; so I am grateful to all who assisted me. Horizon Properties offers excellent management service. They did an excellent job showing the property and finding an excellent tenant for us. We switched to Horizon from another management company and there is no comparison. Our prior agent could not rent our property for 6 months after renovations. After we switched to Horizon they were able to rent the property within three weeks! It has been a pleasure to deal with them. They are well staffed as opposed to other management companies and the staff has always been responsive. We can usually reach anyone we want to speak to immediately and if not they return our calls right away. They are currently managing our rental. more

Horizon Properties is an Awesome Management Company. I have been a tenant for over 5 years and they have always strived to provide excellent service, especially since Bryan has been on board. He is the Best. Kudos! Whenever we call, he is definitely there 24/7; rain or shine. He is very efficient to say the least. The entire staff that I have dealt with from the receptionist to the Inspectors to the management team which include Janet and Robine, have always followed up with me in a timely manner to ensure all of our needs are met. The vendors they use are totally awesome as well. Always professional. They provide excellent customer service and satisfaction.
