Liars & Thieves running Bait & Switch 10/1/2014

I negotiated the purchase price via the Internet Quotes. After several e-mails and phones calls we agreed to a price. They "verified" that the Odyssey was in Stock and asked me to come down. Once I get there, "the car has been sold. Or they made a mistake not in stock. I can't give this price because we don't have that car. But I have these others ($thousands more in extras). Walked out on them, I spoke with them 30 minutes before hauling my family to the dealers. I dealt with Holly Le, Robert White & Brittany Boyce. Do NOT trust them. I have the quote and their e-mails if you are interested. more

Stay Away - Untrustworthy 6/21/2012

2 problems in 1 week - my 2012 pilot 11k miles. I brought in my broken key to be replaced. The dealer told me $190. I called Honda cust. serv. Honda arranged for a key to be replaced FREE! While back at the dealer to replace the key, my neighbors were attempting to purchase a 12 FIT. The car retail is 16k, they had a 3k trade in meaning the car should only be 13k. The salesperson was trying to sell the car for 19k!!! I stepped in and they immediately dropped the price to 17k. Everyone happy? NOPE! The sales manager and salesman corned me in the service area. The saleman was pounding his fist into his hands while they talked! Suggesting NO THREATENING YES!!! I asked if they wanted to go outside to discuss this. They walked away. Now comes the service manager MAD) asking who I am etc. I explain that it does not matter who I am, I advised my neighbor how to buy a car. He went on a rage asking why etc. I explained you apparently dont like to do warranty repairs or sell cars honestly. They pulled my truck out and did not complete any work and banned me. LOL like I would go back to these shady crooks. STAY AWAY!!! more

Bad dealer 1/4/2011

I E-mailed Honda Cars of Katy About purchasing a white 2011 Honda Fit sport automatic They E-mailed back that yes they would sell me a White 2011 Honda fit sport at the Agreed upon price of $18,543. Called and confirmed. Had several conversations with the sales lady. Made appointment the finalize the deal. Called and asked for the vin for insurance. Received the vin and gave it to insurance and was told it was to a 2010 Honda fit. Went to Katy Honda website looked car up by vin. Turns out that the car is indeed a 2010 Honda fit base model with manual transmission. I then called them and asked if the vin was wrong. No, that they had quoted me this car. Refused to Honor their E-mail or the verbal contract. I have the emails and would love to send them to you. A Classic attempt to bait and switch. They were just stupid enough to do it in writing! more

Javier works with you until you are ultimately satisfied with your decision. He gives you a list of cars that would not blow your budget and is patient when it comes to negotiation. more

This time was different 10/4/2010

A breeze. Buying any kind of a car in the past was a hassle. It took forever to get approval. Then it took forever to get through financing. Then it took forever for the car prep. It was always at least a four to five hour ordeal from stepping into the door to driving out with the car. This time, the whole process took less than 2.5 hours. more

David made the purchase of my Accord a very pleasant experience, totally hassle free. The dealership is new and very clean, with many friendly faces. magnificent business 9/16/2010

Bernard was patient and tried his darn hardest to get us the best deal. He talked to his manager, who later had to come to us and tried to sort things out. Oh boy, but my father had the domino effect going. Bernard's manager had to call up his higher up, who i suppose is Alton. He knew how to sell damn well and made an offer few can refuse and talked some sense into my persistent father who kept on trying to haggle. The finance guy was kind, forgot his name though. Altogether, they do magnificent business, good enough for me to register just to make a single comment. more

I have had 2 experiences with Honda Cars of Katy (1 purchasing a car and 1 getting a free oil change) - both experiences ended with horrible customer service, dishonest practices, poor treatment and disrespectful responses - even when bringing these to their attention. Even going for a free oil change at this point seems not worth the treatment. more

Very pleasant 9/2/2010

Honda Cars of Katy was that place. The biggest reason for me feeling so comfortable was the salesman Jeff. He took the time too find out my needs and suggested a class level that was in line with what I was looking for and he did it without making me feel pressured. I had it in my mind that the whole process was going to be terrible because of my past experiences, but it wasn't. It was actually very pleasant. more
