Excellent Customer Service and Fair Pricing 11/17/2011

On November 9, 2011, after experiencing intermittent heating issues with my furnance for some time, I contacted Jim Holder. Jim gave me his best opinion as to the repair, advised my 10 year old furnance was a quality product and should not be replaced, and sold me the part since I wanted to repair it myself. The furnance has been running perfectly for eight days - intermittent problem gone. Jim advised he knows times are tough and he really works with people. Excellent service and support! 7/8/2011

Sorry to hear of those who had bad experiences, because my experience with Jim and his group was fantastic. They went out of their way to take care of my problem and charged me far less than I would have been charged elsewhere. I also bought some parts from them, they didn't nickel and dime me (basically wholesale pricing) and they didn't give me a hard time about needing to be a "pro" to handle the installation. I will call them first whenever I need anything done. I sometimes wonder when I read bad reviews of companies like Jim's, and wonder if they are shills or really bad experiences. I'm not judging the reviewers, but it just doesn't mesh with what I have experienced of Jim or what the other positive reviews here say. more

Great customer service 12/2/2010

I have used Jim Holder at our house and our 2 family. I can't say enough good things about them! We have used them for both heating and a/c problems and overall have been very satisfied with the service we received. Also, when I had to call the office about a question, they were very helpful and polite. more

Holder Heating & Air Conditioning 7/6/2010

Our old A/C unit went out suddenly on the first hot day of the year. Holder responded to our call quickly and the technician worked diligently to assess the problem - which was electrical and not easily discovered. It took some time to find the problem but he did find it and repaired it. Technician was considerate and thorough. Overall I was very satisfied with the service provided. Pros: Responded quickly to our call Cons: For me, it's always cost, - but worthwhile = a cost more

Avoid 9/22/2009

It has been 3 years and the old unit is still working fine. When I contacted him, he would not answer my letters or refund my money. Avoid Jim Holder Heating & Air at all costs. Pros: None Cons: rip off more
