Henderson Nissan - Parts

I went into Henderson Nissan last weekend to purchase a car for my daughter. This was a very enjoyable car purchasing experience. Our salesman took very good care of us and made us feel comfortable every step of the process. Definitely recommend Henderson Nissan. This is our 3rd car purchased here! more

Our overall experience was very good. I was in the market for a new car and my grandmother asked me to come here with her as this is where she has bought her last 2 cars and gets them serviced here. Customer service here was awesome. They thoroughly explained all the options and everything else they offered. I had a great experience with Henderson Nissan. Paul, my salesman, was very pleasant and helpful to work with. I didn’t feel pressured at all when we were looking at vehicles and I could make my decision without being forced into it. Then I worked with Luis, who was pleasant as well. The thing I really liked about my experience here was the familial atmosphere. Henderson Nissan was the only place I'd had my car serviced for the last 2 1/2 years.\r \r Brought my car in with a problem that had developed about a year ago shortly after an oil change at this dealership, smoke coming from the engine compartment, and a foul smell coming through the vent when it's set for fresh air. Their recommendation was:\r \r Replace valve cover gasket/PCV valve hose\r Oil pan reseal\r Replace transmission side seal\r Right axle seal replacement\r \r Cost: $1,330\r \r Was told the first three items were causing the smoke.\r \r Drove the car home to think about this for a week and talk to coworkers knowledgeable about cars. Was told the only thing that could cause smoke was oil leaking through the valve cover gasket. I opened the hood and decided to check the screws holding the valve cover in place. They were all loose, so loose I could remove them with my fingers. I can only speculate how that happened, valve cover screws don't loosen themselves. Spent 30 seconds tightening them. Problem solved, no more smoke, no more smell. \r \r At the very best, one can conclude that their mechanics are incompetent to miss such a simple fix, but we know that isn't the case. I'm pretty sure their mechanics know how to fix cars. I can also speculate that they know how to create repair issues too, but I couldn't prove it. In any case, auto repair shops don't make lots of money tightening screws, they make lots of money on repairs, whether necessary or otherwise. more

I had purchased a vehicle from Henderson Nissan in the past and decided this was definitely the place to go when I was interested in a new car. The people are great and I appreciate not having a bunch of ""hungry salesmen"" run at me when I pull in the lot. The teamwork and service are great, everyone works together really well. I was hounded to come in and do an early termination of my lease and was told I will get a special deal on another vehicle with them. I did end up leasing another vehicle. At that time I asked if I was going to be billed for overage of miles and a few scrathes I had on my car. I was told by the salesperson and his manager that not to worry about any of that it will be taken care of. I asked 3+ times the same question and was given the same answer. I received an $800 bill for overage of miles, called the sales manager several times and he told me that he will look into it. After 1 1/2 month Henderson Nissan did not do anything about this bill. When I finally went in to talk to them,they all denied that I was told that they will take care of it. They not only lied to get me to sign another lease but on top of it let the issue sit for 1 1/2month after it went to collection to tell me that I basically am lying and they do not make such promises. PLEASE GET EVERYTHING THEY SAY IN WRITING AS THEY WILL CHANGE THEIR STORIES. THIS IS THE SECOND INCIDENT WITH HENDERSON NISSAN WHERE THEY HAVE CHANGED STORIES AFTER THE CONTRACT WAS SIGNED. Come to find out a few of my co-workers have similar stories with the dealership. Too bad I have to rate it to publish this.. more
