Our ""kids"" love going to the doctor 9/26/2013

We've been working with Dr. Synder and her team for 10+ years and it's been the most wonderful experience. They've taken us through regular checkups, a broken leg, torn muscles, surgeries and sadly helped us say goodbye to our sweet Buca. When Bentley RUNS to their front door it's true testament of his love (and ours) for our Hemlock Bluffs family! more

My wife and I recently moved to the area and we were looking for a animal hospital for our 4 cats and one dog. They are like our children and we want the very best for them. That being said, we could not be any happier with the staff at Hemlock Bluffs. Their kindness and professionalism is top notch. I would highly recommend Hemlock Bluffs to anyone in need of of exceptional veterinary care. more

We adopted a puppy in January 2012 after being pet-free for about 9 years. We decided to try Hemlock Bluffs due to the convenient proximity to our home, but we continue going back for the friendliness of the staff and great care. I would highly recommend Hemlock Bluffs to anyone in need of of exceptional veterinary care! more

We've been taking our dogs to Hemlock Bluffs Animal Hospital since they first opened in their old location. The vets, technicians and office staff are caring, efficient, and knowledgeable. We have consistently received superb services all through the years. The new facilities near Holly Springs are clean, spacious, and relaxing. I highly recommend them--they really care about us and our pets. more

Hemlock Bluffs provides the best veterinary care we have ever received for our dog, and we have been dog owners for over 25 years. more

I was new to the area and got a very young puppy. Being nervous about choosing the right vet I called around. Dr. Snyder actually talked with me on the phone before I was even a client and gave me advice. When I came in I was very surprised at the attention my puppy received. The entire staff took their time with me and I never felt rushed. Dr. Snyder even called me that evening to make sure she understood something I had told her. The next morning I received a follow-up call checking on my puppy since she had not been well at the visit. I will highly recommend this practice to anyone who asks! more

We love this vet. We happened upon Hemlock Bluffs because our beloved Pekingnese has terminal melonoma. We had been going to a different vet in Cary, but found ourselves at Hemlock Bluffs when we had an emergency and our regular vet couldn't see us that day. What a blessing they were to us.\r The hospital itself is in a cozy converted home that is much more comfortable than the sterile, cold environment of our regular vet. But we were most impressed by all of the staff, and how well they treated our baby--and us. Dr Snyder has the patience of a saint, and offers sound advice --she didn't sell us on tests or other stuff just to make money off of us. Her assistant, Kim, truly loves dogs and has always made the time to help us even with what most vets would think are stupid questions. If we call with a question they always make time for us--that day.\r I thank God we found this vet to help us--I can't say enough good things about them. They have restored my faith in the goodness of humankind. more

Best animal care in town 8/27/2011

I researched and came across this hospital after being disappointed with many vets in the past. I was very pleased with the service provided. The staff is very courteous, professional, knowledgeable and the vets are just the best I have seen in a long time. They walk you through and inform you through the entire physical exam of the pet and treat you as if you are part of it just as much as they are. I drive two hours to have my dogs seen by this clinic and I will continue to do so for years to come to get the exceptional service they provide. more

Great care, affordable prices 6/20/2011

We were looking for a vet in Cary to transfer our pets from after using the same vet in Durham for the past 10 years. After one bad experience at another practice, I was very happy to find Hemlock Bluffs. more

Great Vet and Friendly Staff 6/19/2011

We recently moved and had to find a new vet for our 1 yr old puppy. Dr. Snyder and her staff were very welcoming and answered any and all questions we had regarding his health and the vaccines that he needed (and we had a lot of questions)! The examination was thorough and they really took their time with Albert, and made all of us both feel extremely comfortable and at ease. more

Very Friendly and Caring 6/17/2011

I had just brought a new Guinea Pig and needed a vet to check her out. My vet does not take Guinea pigs and HB was very highly recommended to me by a friend who also takes her Guinea pig there. more

Perfect place to take my classroom pet... 6/6/2011

After six years of teaching, I finally decided to take on the added responsibility and cost of a classroom pet, a bunny. When I called the veterinarian who has seen my two dogs for years, they told me that they didn't see bunnies so I was afraid of going anywhere else. I found out about Dr. Snyder on a rabbit website and I have been so pleased with the service I have gotten from everyone at Hemlock Bluffs. She is so knowledgeable about my bunny and his needs and the staff have been so friendly and patient with my thousands of questions. Dr. Snyder even corresponded with my students when they had additional questions about our bunny. Thanks to Hemlock Bluffs for being so generous and kind to me, my students and our bunny. more

Amazing Pet Care! 5/19/2011

I had the opportunity to meet the staff at Hemlock Bluffs Animal Hospital about a month ago when my pet rat wouldn't quit sneezing. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough. Their true love for animals shined through when they treated my baby rat with the same care and concern as they would a puppy. (Not everyone appreciates rats like us. They really do make great pets!) The treatment plan was right on the mark. Nibbles is no longer sneezing and has rejoined his other little friends. Thank you so much Hemlock Bluffs Animal Hospital! more

Very ""hospitable"" hospital! 4/18/2011

Our guinea pigs had a check up and one was examined for hair loss. All the personnel at HB were kind, courteous and very knowledgable. Though the tests and proposed treatments were quite pricey we were able to work out a reasonable option that both served our budget and our guinea pig's needs. I don't believe other facilities would have worked with us in such an accomodating manner. Excellent care for our pets!!! more

Awesome Vet! 4/4/2011

I adopted my first puppy back in February and was concerned about his health since he was the runt and came from a shelter. Dr. Snyder and her staff were very welcoming and answered any and all questions I had regarding his health (and I had a lot of questions)! The examination was thorough and they really took their time with Roscoe, and made us both feel extremely comfortable and at ease. Dr. Snyder gave me great knowledgeable advice on how to crate train, get his weight up, etc. He is doing amazing now and absolutely loves going to Hemlock Bluffs Animal Hospital! I would not take him anywhere other than to Dr. Snyder & staff! more

First experience 3/23/2011

I had been looking for someone to declaw my 12 year old cat. I was very apprehensive but she was so well taken care of. She came through just fine and I thought everyone there was really professional and caring. more

Genuinely Care 2/24/2011

We first brought our dog to Hemlock Bluffs looking for a second opinion for a paw problem. We had a good relationship with our current vet, however, the issue was costing us a lot of money and had the potential for a lot more pain and money. I saw Hemlock Bluffs on Citysearch and decided to try them due to their good ratings. They welcomed me and my frightened puppy and made us both feel very comfortable. After the exam, they confirmed our current vet's opinion. I want to point out that the exam was very thorough, meaning the vet and all the staff spent alot of time with me, explaining things, they reviewed the films I had brought and they even called a specialist to review them. Everyone in the office was very professional, knowledgeable and great with my scared pup. Afterward, they followed up with a phone call and a letter. I was very pleased with their obvious concern that both me and pup were happy and doing ok. I would highly recommend them. P.S. My pup's paw is fine now, no additional expense or pain was incurred. more

So much more than expected!! 11/19/2010

I went to see Dr. Snyder and her staff after more than seven years with a different doctor taking care of my Cocker Spaniel(Sunny). I had always thought his vet was as good as they come, but we just couldn't seem to come up with a solution for his skin allergies. For years we can gone through multiple treatments of steroids, antibiotics and medicated prescription shampoos. Those made a difference short term, but the bumps and dry spots were back quickly, and my Sunny was pretty misearble. Not to mention I was spending a LOT of money for very short term results. more

Wonderful Experience - New in Town 10/8/2010

We moved 2 large dogs and a cat to Raleigh from Memphis, TN. It was difficult on us all. Our Boxer (Lucy) was due for her shots and the Beagle / Mut (Irie) had found North Carlina pine cones and sweet gum balls to be a regular diet. But this didn't set well with her intestional track!! We needed a vet. more
