We've taken both our dogs to Briarcliff and respect/trust two of the "senior" vets there. more

The doctors and staff were wonderful. My cat saw Dr. Clealand, who was extremely helpful and caring. He diagnosed my cat's blocked bladder pretty quickly and walked me through the treatment options. He took the time to explain everything to my husband and me, answered all of our questions, and updated us with calls twice a day. more

"I brought my cat to Briarcliff Animal Clinic for an emergency visit last Sunday. I chose Briarcliff because it was the only place I could find that was open on a Sunday (besides Pets Are People Too--which I have tried previously, but was not impressed with). I was a little nervous, given the mixed reviews, but since my choices were limited, I decided it was the best thing to do for my cat. The doctors and staff were wonderful. My cat saw Dr. Clealand, who was extremely helpful and caring. He diagnosed my cat's blocked bladder pretty quickly and walked me through the treatment options. He took the time to explain everything to my husband and me, answered all of our questions, and updated us with calls twice a day. All told, my cat spent 4 days (3 nights) at Briarcliff while recovering from his blocked bladder. We visited him every night, and on each visit, we were allowed to spend as much time as we wanted with our cat. We are are definitely going to switch vets after our very positive experience this week." more

I was new to the area and I could not have found a better vet. The staff was compassionate, kind, and they were genuinely concernced about my pets. They were also extremely affordable. I brought my cat in for fleas and they gave her an exam and treated her great. A few days later I had to bring my puppy in for the same problem. He had the same exam and treatment but the staff refused to charge me for an office visit. They also have an express service for puppy vaccines where you only have to pay for the shot...no office visits, which saves you money! Briarcliff is an amazing Animal Hospital and I am extremely happy there. more

"Every one of these doctors are very caring, thorough, and sincere when it comes to our pets. They are a little pricey- but you do get what you pay for and they will work with you if you have multiple pets." more

I was overly impressed with the doctors and staff there. We were offered water, and my 2 year old son got to see the rescue cats because someone on staff overheard how much he loves cats! The doctor was very gentle and thorough. I love that this group does rescues and has the Briarcliff Animal Foundation. Overall, my experience was EXCELLENT! more

Bring your animal here if you have the money to spend on very smart doctors and great equipment. For instance when i was employed i paid $300.00 for a laser spay on my kitten. The kitten hardly knew anything had happened and healed up very quickly. It's a great way to go if money is no option. I've also had them diagnoise other animals correctly when others could not. Don't know why they charge so much more than other clinics, would theorize they pay their doctors more, hire top doctors and keep their equipment upgraded. more

I've had a drastically different experience from most of the reviewers. I love Briarcliff. I have been taking my animals there for almost 2 years. With the exception of one uptight guy, the front desk people have always been very friendly. I've called numerous times and they take the time to answer my questions concerning the health of my pets. I usually request Dr. Lane, but I recently saw Dr. South and she was awesome also. I never feel rushed. Both doctors and all the vet techs have taken the time to ensure I ask all my questions (and I'm one of those that comes in with a list) and that I understand everything. They have always examined my pets in the room and take them in the back for shots and tests, which I appreciate. more

The place looks so cool and upscale, even prestigious! But my pet had the most horrible experience here. You cannot be with your pet while they treat or give shots and they do not offer a sedative. When I heard my pet scream bloody murder I knew they had hurt him. Then they told me my pet was aggressive. hmm. They had restrained the cat, done a rectal exam and given shots and he wasn't happy. They do not separate the dogs from cats in the boarding area so my cat was exposed to barking dogs 24/7. Still refused to give a sedative but were continuing to tell me my cat was aggressive and mean. (Sedatives are unnatural and thus frowned upon here.) They brought the cat to me in a urine-soaked old box and I found his fur was matted with feces. They blamed the cat. I would not go back here under any circumstances. more

I had been taking my dog to Briarcliff Animal Clinic for several years when I noticed a lump develop near one of her lymph nodes. Dr. McLean sent a sample off and discovered it was cancer. I could not afford to pay for chemotherapy and surgery for my dog, and with her advise, we decided to euthanize her after a few months. Dr. McLean helped me through this difficult situation and made me feel at ease with my decision. I would highly recommend this vet to anyone. more

Briarcliff became our vet by chance when we moved to the area. All of the vets turned out to be amazing with both the animals and their ability to relate and explain to me. In addition, they offered convenient Saturday appointments, boarding and a multi pet discount. We were very sad when we moved out of the area and have yet to find such great doctors and facility. more

During my last couple of years in Atlanta I took my cats to Briarcliff Animal Clinic. I was quite impressed with the facility, as well as the veterinarians and the technicians who work there. The clinic was always clean and the staff highly professional. They always seemed to find an open appointment for me on short notice, even the highly sought after Saturday appointments. One of the staff even provided pet sitting services for me when I went out of town on short notice...my cats certainly appreciated getting to stay at home rather than being boarded.
