I'm happy! 10/27/2015

Hayward Auto Care took care of a leaky oil pan. They replaced the transmission plug with a new kit and had to give me an oil chance as well. I looked at the receipt and saw the oil change was 50-something bucks which was a little bit of a shock. I guess I didn't check the price for it before authorizing the work. Overall, the experience was good. They answered the phone and took care of my car right away. I waited for my car, got it, and drove off. So I'm happy! more

Excellent Personalized Service 9/29/2015

Hayward Auto Care was my go-to auto care for my 2007 Toyota Pickup while I was living in the Bay Area. Service is fast, efficient, and they don't try to sell you extra repairs that are not needed. I would highly reccomend. more

Friendly, Flexible, and Informative. 8/28/2015

The guy that worked on my car was friendly and flexible. He explained everything in clear language (what was wrong, what they were doing to fix it, and anything else they thought might contribute to the issue) that I could understand. They even let me pick up the car after their official closing time! more

Great experience and good service at price quoted. 8/14/2015

This was my first time using Hayward Auto Care. I dropped in unannounced. They took my information. They took a look at my car and told me pricing. I chose the top quality parts so the price was a bit more expensive. They completed the job on time. They told me upfront what the price was going to be and that's what it was. I was very happy, and I highly recommend them. more

Honest mechanics that do great work! 8/12/2015

I found Hayward Auto Care on a reviews website where most people gave them good ratings. I have taken my car to other mechanics, but they are not close to my house. This shop is very close to my home and I can walk to pick up and drop off my car. I did have another car I wanted to bring to their shop, but after asking me a lot of questions, the owner told me there was no reason on doing any work. Even if he did any work, there would be little issues to deal with. I thought this was really cool because most other mechanics don't tell you things like that; they just charge you the money and keep working on your car over and over again. The owner, on the other hand, said that even if I brought, he wasn't going to work on it. So, The owner is pretty cool and always give you a fifteen percent discount every time you go. They also always have coupons online and they don't expire. But, if you forget the coupon, they will still give you discount! more

Highly Recommend 8/12/2015

My son's BMW would $@!#% and just cut off while being driven. I contacted my uncle who lives out of state and because he is a mechanic and has a BMW I wanted to get his advise on what the problem could be. He informed me it sounded like fuel injectors - I took his advise went to several different auto shops and was told all kind of issues and the quotes were outrageous. Finally, on a Saturday afternoon driving home the car just stopped and it happened to stop right in front of Hayward Auto Care on Mission- the shop was a little off the road and behind an auto dealership so unless you knew it was there you would pass it up. I asked Ken to look at the car for me and the next day he calls tells me it was my fuel injectors and the quote was great. That was about 3 years ago and now my entire family goes to Ken. Excellent service - Honest - and Genuinely great People.. more

I have gone to Hayward Auto Care twice now. They fixed my '93 Acura Legend. There was something wrong with my car that other shops weren't able to figure out. They also took $400 off the price for being a new client. Their customer service is perfect. They're polite, answer their phones, and smile--which seems rare from an automotive service. I would recommend them. more

Did more than required work, with no charge. 6/8/2015

Brought my 2002 camaro z28 in for 100k service. Had kept car fairly clean except for engine compartment. It was VERY dirty. Not only did they do a good job on service needed, they cleaned up engine compartment so looked like new. Would not believe could be this clean. They went beyond what was charged for. more

A+ service! 5/21/2015

I have been bringing my car to Hayward Auto Care for mechanical work since before Ken, the current owner, took over the business from his uncle. The technicians do everything from smog checks to oil changes to tire repair or replacement. The company offers great package deals when your car hits benchmark mileages that include all the general maintenance required. The company offers quick turn-around, and everyone on staff is friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Ken goes above and beyond for his customers. My car would not start at one point, and Ken was on the phone with me every step of the way to coach me on how I could fix it myself. Eventually, Ken and his crew tore the dashboard apart to clean the parts and it started just fine after that. Hayward Auto Care leaves no stone unturned and they have excellent customer service. more

It have used Hayward Auto Care twice and I will continue to use them! When I first used them my car had electrical issues and bill couldn't be more helpful, and a great guy all around! Ken worked on the car second time and he couldn't be more helpful, courteous and timely. The price was right too! My car is running great now! more

Great place to go! 5/14/2015

I have been going to Hayward Auto Care for years. My brother-in-law, sister, and I have had good experiences there for the past four years. We always go to Hayward Auto Care whenever we have problems or need oil changes. He does a great job, and he lets you know what's really wrong with the car. I was having engine problems in my Expedition and he took care of it for me. He's a great guy- he'll explain everything to you, and he doesn't cheat you at all. The price is better than a lot of others. He lets you know what is necessary to be done before he does anything. The team he has is good too; they communicate with you a lot. I would recommend them to anybody. more
