My community finally switched after 7 years of using them. They were rude, useless, and could care less about their customers. I would advise EVER using them!!!!!!!

Lazy and Poor Service!!! 1/25/2011

The whole time HMC was the Association Management Company for our community we have had dozens of blatant covenant violations. HMC never drives through our community. Now the many violations are part of our community due to laches at our communities lose. HMC provides the absolute bare minimum of services for the full market rate fee they charge. Everyone in our community is dissatisfied with HMC. Our community, like so many, has become complacent with HMC poor service but I think this year is their last chance.They helped ruin our community over time. more

De Facto Institutional Racism to me too!!! 1/25/2011

I looked at the Corporate picture too and would have to agree it is de facto institutional racism. I would assume they are racially profiliong job applicants and discrimating against minorities. Someone should complain to the government. Sad you have this kind of thing happing today. I guess this is the good old boy South bigotry and racism in Charlotte, NC. Client's of this company ought to take a good hard look at them considering the racial make-up of Charlotte (Asians, Latinos, African-Americans, etc). more

Institutional racism (also called structural or systemic racism) describes any kind of system of inequality based on race. The term ""institutional racism"" describes societal patterns that have the net effect of imposing oppressive or otherwise negative conditions against identifiable groups on the basis of race or ethnicity.\r \r They are rude and unprofessional in my 5 years dealing with them, I’ll agree with that. That’s not the worst. I think they are a bunch of racists practicing institutional racism. Charlotte’s demographics are 33% black, 7% Hispanics and 4% yet look at HMC staff picture. 100% white. Not one non-white. Is this by choice or design? I don’t see any anti-discriminatory or affirmative action statement on their website. Whenever I call this place I get an attitude from the staff. I know what’s going on. Not even one token colored or Hispanic person on staff.\r \r \r \r more

Fast Friendly Service 10/25/2010

I have worked with Hawthorne Management Company for over 6 years. Our community has suffered a great deal from the down turn in the economy and many owners have stopped paying their assessments. Hawthorne has been very attentive and offered some reasonable solutions to help soften this blow and get us through these harder times. They are always quick to get me the answers I need and they offer that Southern Hospitality that I love so much! Look no further if you want Great , service from a Great company! more

Hawthorne Management Company has been managing our Home Owners' Association for many, many years. We are a large neighborhood with over 570 homes. Hawthorne has always provided a good service at reasonable prices. They understand the HOA business and provide quality service. more
