I'm very impressed with Haven Auto Repair. Everyone who works there is personable and really knows their stuff. Tara, the administrative assistant, is really on the ball and very helpful with scheduling my appointments. The mechanics do what they say and are reliable with the time frames quoted for the job. I've been using them for about a year and a half for standard maintenance, oil changes, and tune up services for my Land Cruiser. Once they replaced the seals on it for a very good price. I'd definitely recommend them. more

Everytime I go to them they always diagnose the problem and fix it the first time. They make it easy for me to get around while working on my car because they have loaner cars. They maintain an extremely honest policy as well. more

Took car in for Groupon (4 oil changes with tire rotations). Got one done last month, sold car and took in my other car for second oil change and tire rotation and was told that it was only good for the first car. I told him that I sold the car and he said sorry but I will make you a deal for this oil change and then charged me $66.50 for one oil change and tire rotation. This was on top of the $69 I already paid for the Groupon. If he really wanted to make me a deal then why not offer me the special he advertises on their web page for $29.95? He said he wanted to earn my business. If that was the case, then why not transfer the Groupon to my other car without gouging me? He also tried to tell me that the oil leak I had was caused by a broken oil cooler line and would cost over $400. I replaced the "O rings" the next day and it cost me less than $2. Groupon was kind enough to refund my money. Don't waste your time with this place! Not trustworthy!!! more

I took my car there because it was recommended by a friend. My check engine light came on and my brakes needed attending to. I also believed something was wrong with my transmission. I got all that fixed, and after a good amount spent, a day later I had even more problems. I spent a lot of money there and the original problem was not fixed but they"fixed" other things, things I didn't take it there to get fixed. I'm just really disappointed with the fact they charged me all this money, fixed everything but the main issue and now I'm without that money and without a car. I wouldn't recommend going here for big issues because I'm not sure they know how to fix them. more

I have someone vandalize my company van over the weekend and stole my battery and some personal stuff out of the van. They punch in the drivers side key hole to get in and popped open the hood to steal the battery but cut all the f*&en wires. I found this shop online and read there reviews and they are true great group of people. Thanks to you all! more

Thought I'd give this place a try after seeing the reviews, however I was very disappointed. Looking into the reviews now it seems like a lot of them are from fake profiles. I guess I should have known when they tried to charge me an arm and leg for a standard oil change. Told me they could fix my window for $98, which was a great price I thought since it was $20 cheaper than any where else. Later they called me saying it would be $280. They still made me pay the $98 saying that was just to look at the car. Pretty cheap tricks. LETS BE HONEST, Your truck ( 2006 Nissan Frontier) came to our shop for inspection with 130,629 miles, you requested to check for noise, you asked to check your driver side power window, and you wanted us to inspect for maintenance tune up. We make it crystal clear to all our customers that these inspections and check up take time and We do Not charge initial fee if a customer agrees to do any repair or service that we recommend. We make sure that customers understand that there will be a charge for inspection if customer decided not to do any repair or service, because Technician spent time to pinpoint the problems, that is why we print a work order, read it for our customer and ask them to sign it first. All our HONEST customers understand and respect that. How could We tell you that we fix your power window for $98 without knowing what part is not working, and we did not charge you $98, just to look at the car. We never charge our customer, just to look at their car, however we did remove the drivers side door panel, tested the system and found motor not working. Our technician did inspect your truck for noises, and maintenance and I personally explained to you thoroughly. $280 was total cost of replacing motor and regulator which is about 30 less than dealer. I do understand that $98 is alot of money, our technician spent more than 3 hours to complete his inspection as you requested it. It is mind boggling When someone disrespects all our customers reviews and judging publicly the integrity of our entire business by one single visit. I have been to Haven Auto Repair a few times and the they completed the work correctly and efficiently; however, on my last visit, I was somewhat disappointed. They send these $50 gift cards which can be used for service or two separate oil changes. I was surprised to learn that even after applying a $25 credit, I still had a balance of over $30 for a simple oil change! I had to ask a couple of times about the type of oil that was used....it certainly was not any brand name. I was told that it was ProLine Oil (a brand carried by Pep Boys and they sell it by the gallon for $15). Although they reduced the price, I am still disappointed with this experience. Just watch out when you use those 'gift cards'!!! more

l was searching the internet for a car repair shop where l can bring my car for a schedule maintenance service. l found this place Haven Auto Repair and read the company profile, star ratings and customer reviews. l was impressed and decided to try out so l brought my car. My car is a Lexus so l am kinda picky in choosing the auto repair shop. Upon reaching the place, l was met at the reception area by this gentleman Mr. Merdad, l guess he is the owner, and another two staff. Mr Merdad walked me through the different service package they can do for my car. My objective was to get a service package that is similar to that done at the Lexus dealership. Mr. Merdad offered me the service package that is exactly what is in my mind and the cost is much less than what they charge in the car dealership. They have air-conditioned customer lounge with finely crafted leather and wood furniture where customers can sit and relax, a big screen tv, there's complimentary coffee, cookies and water. Guys it's just like being in the car dealership. While waiting, l tried to peep through the glass door where l can see the service facility where the mechanics are working on the cars and suvs. It looks pretty impressive, clean areas, up to date and high tech tools and equipment, skilled mechanics wearing uniform working clothes. The mechanic assigned to my car was the master mechanic, l was told by Mr. Merdad. He also gave me useful tips in car maintenance. Overall l can describe my experience with Haven Auto Repair as happy and very satisfied. Thank God l found this place where you get good customer service and great value for your money. more

I took my vehicle into Haven Auto Repair for some brake work. I had a conversation with a gentle man who was waiting to have his vehicle serviced and he assured me I would be taken care of. He had been bringing his car, his wife's car, and his older son's car as well. I soon found out what he was talking about. I was very pleased with the work. The work was done when they said and in a timely manner. I was shown the old parts that were removed from my car and recommended, not pressured, to have additional work done. I chose not to have that additional work done but when I can I will surely be back to Haven Auto Repair. I have recommended Haven Auto Repair to my Mother and she just took her car there for air conditioning service. more

Owner is nice and honest...Good mechanics. Metro Nissan recommended motor mount replacement on my SUV. But only took fuel injection service to solve the problem at Haven Auto Repair. Don't get ripped-off by your dealer, go to Haven Auto Repair!! more

Went here today to just get an oil change and asked for an inspection and they found a leak in my power steering. Instead of charging me for the part like most mechanics would, the shop showed me the steps I had to take to get my warrenty on my car. Excellent Customer Service. Will refer a few friends. I will be back for my next oil change and inspections. more

Mehrdad was the gentleman assisting my boyfriend (Chris) and I today. He was absolutely professional, polite, skillful & friendly. We were both very satisfied and pleased with his service. He offered us drinks while we waited in the lobby (~20 mins) and there were entertaining magazines to flip through. Once the issue was identified, Mehrdad brought Chris & I to the shop center and showed us exactly what was the issue & explained it. He told us that he would order the part needed & the car would be ready by tomorrow. 5 hours later we get a call and - believe it or not - the car was ready the SAME DAY with the part repaired (plus we got an oil change there too). As an added bonus, they also washed the car, which was a really nice gesture. Before we went in, we checked out some reviews online, and there a few really bad ones on Yelp but decided to give it a shot anyway and I'm really glad we did. So I'm going to copy/paste this review onto other websites to attest to the great, professional and above all - HONEST - service we got today. We'll be coming back in a few days cause Chris needs to have his battery replaced, and Mehrdad checked out the prices for a battery while we were there. Not only did he tell us the prices, but he showed us the screen that clearly stated the same price the battery would cost. I'm personally still sort of inexperienced as far as car repairs go, but I've never been to a repair center where they actually show you the prices and explain what is factored into the cost. Like I said, honest repair people here. Will definitely be going back and would recommend to anyone. Also, the center was not too difficult to find. We circled around once or twice but once we approached the center, we could see it clearly. I mention this because in LA (where I'm from) a lot of the time, businesses will be "hidden", so to speak. But not this place. Anyway, you get the point. more

I didn't know any mechanics here, so when I found Haven Auto Repair it was totally by random. They were great! They were able to fix my car with no trouble. I would go back and would definitely recommend the place to anybody! more

Haven Auto Repair is awesome! I have been taking my car to them for the routine oil change, and they have always treated my car and I with the upmost respect. When I call them, right away they know who I am. I am always greeted with a smile, my car is taken care of right away, and if I ever have any problems, I can always take it back and they will fix it. Prices are decent and with complimentary cookies, coffee, and water...how can you beat that? Great job you guys!!!! more

Haven Auto Repair gives really good prices and their customer service is great. Their repairs are done in a timely manner. I think we found out about Haven Auto Repair through the kids when they went to the park together. It has been a while that we have been using Haven Auto Repair. They have done maintenance for our cars, including a couple of basic repairs for our cars, taking care of whatever is needed. Haven Auto Repair offers really good service, really good prices, and it's just a really good place to go to! more

Our vehicles have been maintained by Haven Auto Repair for approximately twelve years. No repair job has been too big or small for them to handle. In fact, they found a used engine for our Cadillac and replaced it four years ago. It still is working great. I had a problem with the check engine light on my Volkswagon. They did an engine tune-up, reset the light, and it has not come back on. Our cars have always passed smog tests with good scores. This shop is a rarity; top notch work for a reasonable price. Extremely honest and dependable owner and workers. more

I have been a customer of theirs for about a decade, they have a client for life! They have done nothing but provide great service and work! They will work with you if you ask, and they have always showed me the parts they replaced. Once the kept some brake rotors to show me the cracks in them. They have at times kept our vehicles until we could pay the entire bill off at little or no additional costs as long as we tell them up front. Their prices are good, and they are very good at making you are pleased with the work done. I have never had an issue with their work, and my cars seem to run better than when I bought them after they finish their job. They are very truthful and up front, I had an older car when the transmission failed, they told me we can replace the transmission, but it will cost more than the car is worth. I replaced the car and it was the best way to go for our budget. more
