I ordered the white Dupioni silk drapery panels, 9 of them! They are beautiful. Three panels had a bit of thinning and a few holes in the fabric so, I requested an exchange. The customer service dept. was understanding and friendly. I have not received my replacements yet but, I do plan on ordering more drapery panels. I would recommend Half Price Drapes to anyone. They have great quality and workmanship, very reasonable prices and I have not waited weeks for anything! more

I ordered 5 100Wx96L organza sheers from HalfPriceDrapes (HPD) for the living room. The order was not returnable. I really thought that the sheers would be seamless. I got the order and was unpleasantly surprised that each sheer had a seam and the seam was ugly: 1"of untrimmed edge of fabric in the middle on the transparent organza. Customer service representative told me there was no way to make the seam invisible. But the seam could be over locked at least! I was offered to re-make the sheers to 50" width. I returned the sheers but now I am not sure that HPD can redo them with no damage to the fabric. The sheers are in HPD warehouse. Nobody is going to return the payment. I think I have a reason for return. It is a quality defect. HPD thinks otherwise. more

I ordered the Black/White Striped drapes (extra-long) 11/9/2010

I ordered the Black/White Striped drapes (extra-long). These drapes are excellent quality and very very well priced compared to other sites. The material is nice and heavy and the drapes are lined. The lining is a canvas (light beige) color and during the day the slight beige color shows through the white stripes in the drapes. But it's not a big deal. If you like your drapes to be scrunchy instead of looking like a 'flat' panel, you'll need to order more panels. But overall, I am extremely pleased with my order and would definitely order from Half Prices Drapes again. Oh, and that fact that they will accept an international credit card AND ship internationl is a MAJOR plus as I don't live in the United States. I am extremely happy with my purchase!! more

I ordered the most beautiful black velvet drapes. When I opened the box...they were not what I expected. There was a hole in the left curtain. You could see the white lining. The company was nice and credited my account, however they charged me for delivery even though the curtains were destroyed. That isn't very nice at all. Maybe they will read this feedback and credit me back the delivery fee. I'm sure not all of their products come destroyed, I think I just happened to get a bad batch. more

I love my drapes 11/8/2010

I love my drapes. They are absolutely beautiful. I had a slight problem with the sheers that I ordered : two of the six were not the 108" that I had ordered, but when I called, they had the correct length shipped out that day. Everyone was very helpful. I will order from half price drapes again and will recommend you to all of my friends who want high quality but not high prices. more

The patterned drapes give a much more softer look in our bedroom versus just a dark solid chocolate brown. They are thick and well-made, so we get a good nights rest without a lot of light seeping through in the early morning. Look forward to shopping on this site again for the other rooms in our house! more

HPD are amazing. The quality, fabric and workmanship of the HPD I ordered are better than the custom drapes I had done by a designer and cost a lot less! Thank you HPD for the beautiful drapes! We will order again. more

Loved the velvet drapes. They are well made, luxurious, etc. Unfortunately, they weren't right for the room for which I intended them. The return process was without any hitches. I won't hesitate to order from Half Price Drapes again. more

Customer service was good, however products need more descriptions. For example, I ordered goblet pleated panels, and the "goblet" pleat was just a piece of tubular cardboard, and they were huge! Which was definitely not in the description. Also, my roman shade is beautiful, but the dimensions were reversed. (width should have been length, and vice versa) I will order again, but inquire further into the product before ordering. more

I have got 3 different sets of drapes and I am very pleased with the look and the quality.We replaced the Pier 1 and J C Penny drapes we had with cotton ones for the kitchen and silk for my living room and one bedroom.It has been over 6 months now and we can't get over how rich and classy they look.I am so happy with the purchase and will buy again to replace the rest 4 bedrooms.Thank you Half Price Drapes! more

Dear Half Price Drapes, You are terrific! My experience with your company was an example of how ALL companies that have a retail customer base should treat their customer's. There was a mix up with my order that would have caused me a bit of inconvenience, but thanks to your wonderful employee Chris and his consideration for me (WITHOUT me having to haggle over the issue) the problem was handled professionally. Chris made sure the company took responsibility and that I would not be inconvenienced in the least! I will ALWAYS use and refer friends to Half Price Drapes!! I even have a close friend who's an interior designer that offered me a discount, but because of the EXCELLENT customer service I received from Chris...Half Price Drapes will be my place to shop! I recently purchased Birch Faux Taffeta Silk drapes, Filoli Colonial Blue Faux Taffeta Silk drapes and Angelina Scroll drapes for my home. While I was very pleased with the Filoli and Birch Faux Taffeta I was highly disappointed in the Angelina Scroll drapes. The quality of the others is so much better than that of the Angelina Scroll. I also purchased some birch faux taffeta fabric to sew a curtain for a small window in the same room as those drapes are hanging in. The faux taffeta silk drapes are lovely and heavy and I am very pleased with them. However, if I had purchased the Angelina scroll drapes first, I probably would not have purchased additional drapes from you. I am interested in purchasing an additional pair of the Filoli Colonial blue drapes if possible. Sincerely, Deborah Black more

I have to say the drapes are absolutely beautiful! Although I am still waiting for the rest of my order after a month. I am a bit disappointed in the correspondence in letting me know when something is back ordered and still not giving me an approximate date of delivery. Again the ones I did get I love love love! more
