I wasn't all that impressed with my haircut by Shelly. After a few days it still doesn't lay right and is sort of blah. My hair is easy to cut and style so I'm not exactly sure ...

So Happy With My Hair 1/31/2012

Great salon. I've been to a few others in the Birkdale area and they did a good job but I never felt at ease. At HCX I always feel welcome and the staff is very friendly. Love my stylist, Sarah. People can't believe my haircolor isn't natural. Love, Love, Love my new cut! THANKS SARAH! more

Kristy Is Wonderful! 1/30/2012

Kristy has made such a wonderful change in my hair - I love it now! When I went to Kristy my hair was a wreck; dry, damaged and a bad cut. Kristy turned my hair around with great care, cuts and products to make it a natural, beautiful style that is complimented all the time! She makes it easy to maintain too. Love, Love Love it! I'd recommend Kristy to anyone - and I do all the time! more

Jackie is awesome!!!! 8/9/2011

I moved to NC 2 years ago. Since I moved here I have had a hard time finding someone I trust to cut my hair. Everyone I tried kept messing it up. I was ready to give up when one of the girls I work with recommended Jackie at Haircolorxperts. So I tried it. I will admit when I first went I did not have high hopes since so many people kept messing up my hair. But when I left I felt amazing. I finally found someone who could cut my hair without screwing it up. I WILL NOT EVER go to someone else now. I go in to see Jackie and leave SO HAPPY. If I go in and don't know what I want done I still leave happy.She knows how to cut my thin hair without butchering it!!!! more

Dawn is the BEST! 8/6/2011

I moved to Cornelius 7 years ago. My Mom is a hair stylist at a high end salon and day spa in Michigan, and has been the ONLY one to do my hair! It was going to TOUGH to find someone to replace her when I moved here! I tryed all the high end salons around the area, and a few not so high end!! LOL Finally, about 3-4 years ago, I found DAWN! I just LOVE her. I'm the type of person that wants my hair to "look" like it's been "done" and always look great, but I am always open to change. We block off an appointment time that says "whatever" because I like a little change.. ultra blonde, lowlights, long, short, layers, etc. She just gets me, and has always given me a great color, great cut, great style, and amazing products. (Items we like to call "hair crack" for those of us with thin hair!!!) Of course, there are the times, like my wedding last year, when I say this is exactly what I want, and thats exactly what I get :) For those of you searching for a amazing cut, color, and style, go see DAWN. She Rocks. more

I am really sorry to say that I am very disappointed by the business practices and professionalism of this salon. If I were you please stay away from this salon, there are so many salons in this area so do not waste your time with this one! They actually give a % off of treatments to fill out these reviews so that they can get good reviews! Poor practices! more

I could not have been any happier with my first two expieriences with Dawn! I have lived here for 5 years and have tried a number of different salons. I have very curly and frizzy hair. Dawn was able to cut my hair exactly the way I asked. It is so much easier to blow dry and holds its style and curl. Next I decided ...which I have wanted to do for so long...to go red. I had the confidence and trusted Dawn could do it! AND SHE DID! I LOVE my hair color! I have gotten so many compliments! She was an absolute pleasure to work with! She "got" me! I have always has a stylist that would blow dry my hair straight....then you go out and about and everyone loves my hair....the problem is....it doesnt ever look like that again until I go back and have my hair done again!! Dawn blew my hair dry in a way that I would every time and gave me a few pointers. I have not been this happy with my hair since I left Florida 10 yrs ago! I also have to say I was very impressed on how the salon goes over with you exactly what they are going to do and lets you know BEFORE they even start what the cost will be! I have had so many times before "sticker shock"! Not this time ...I actually added a few services along the way because I knew I was within my budget! more

10 Years Younger! 7/1/2011

I had a hairstylist quit the salon I went to and decided it was time to take my chances and find a new one. I chose to go to Abee at Haircolorxperts today. Abee listened to what I was looking for and then delivered beyond expectations. I had compliments tonight from strangers when I went out about how great the cut was and my friends said it took 10 years off my age. I highly recommend Abee and Haircolorxperts at Birkdale. more

JACKIE is AMAZING! 6/17/2011

I am new to the area and am always nervous when I have to look for a new stylist. Jackie has cut and colored my hair several times now and has been consistent EVERY SINGLE TIME! I am so happy with my service and always recommend her to my friends. I tell her what I want and she always delivers. I am very particular about my hair, as it is straight and fine. I have had too many bad haircuts in the past and I love going to see her because I know she's going to make me look beautiful! ;-) She always makes sure I am happy before I leave. I would highly recommend her to anyone! Especially those of you who are nervous about finding a new stylist. She's your girl! ;-) more
