very stressful to not be able to contact anyone to file a vehicle accident claim over the weekend. i am thankful that no one was hurt.

Not please with their service. Been with them for 3yrs.They are eager to take your monthly payment. But when a claim is invovled they give you the run around. Maybe i should pay the extra for nation wide because my automobiles would be fixed by now more

Greenville Casualty Insurance is a locally owned and operated Insurance Co. They have very competive rates and fast and friendly service. I have had insurance with them since 2008. I have never had any problems and my rates are great. My husband had his windshield repaired and claims dept was took care of him in a fast and friendly manner. I suggest Greenville to all of our friends and family! more

Whenever I can, I try to use local companies. This seems especially important to me with insurance and banking. This is a growing company that seems to be working hard to do things the right way - and to treat everyone with courtesy. They have a new chat line that is also very helpful. This is a real company with employees and management that seem to understand insurance. They do not make promises they don't intend to keep. more

I hate this company, they don't respond to your calls they are rude and don't care about nothing. My car was in a wreck over a month ago and I still haven't heard from anyone. Even though the person driving my car was unliscend I didn't know that until the accident happened. And they my car sat at an towing company for 3 weeks before someone came to check it out, they still haven't call and told me anything which i think is very unprofessial. i will be getting a lawyer to see about what all i need to do. So Mr. Hix get ready becasue i am about to sue your ass! more

Don't trust them hire an attorney 10/10/2011

I was involved in an accident and they never called I had to call them! Every representative that I have spoke with have lied! They don't offer fair value for your car not even PAYOFF! Don't trust any of them just call an attorney because you are going to need one! Worst business I have ever had to deal with! They don't even offer a rental you have to argue for that. I was told to drive my car and put a tarp on it ! It's very hard to drive your car with a tarp on it down the highway to work! I have never met such an uneducated,unexperienced, rude bunch of individuals in my life! more

Claims SUCK..THEY WON""T PAY!!! 9/22/2011

Great rates, Great in office customer service but when it's time to submit a claim you can hung it up, these people not only pay you little of nothing its not enough to get your repairs done. Hey if you ask me I rather pay high rates and be able to get my vehicle repair if something happens instead of paying low cheap rates and having to pay thousands out of my pocket because Leon Hix is so cheap.Switch before its too late. Jil, Joan, Lasey, all are horrible very rude and can give a hoot about what your problem is . more

Great Company, Great Customer Service, and very knowledgeable. I had a great experience with Greenville Casualty's claims department. My adjuster Lacey Lindsey handled the claim in a timely manner, and was very professional. I would recommend this company to anyone. more

I had a good experience with this company. An accident is not ever a good thing, however my adjuster Stephanie Southern was there anytime I needed her and always was very pleasant and knowledgeable. She helped me through a hard time and I wanted to write this so that she would know that I really appreciated all of her help. more

Awful Company- File complaint with Insurance Commission 1/30/2011

Was involved in a wreck & the other driver was at fault. Unfortunately, they have GCI as their insurance company. Unprofessional to say the least.\r Our car seat had to be replaced & no one at this company can agree on how we are to be reimbursed. We have been told we have to purchase the * exact* same model (although it's no longer made) by one person, then someone else said we could buy any model & fax the receipt only to be told later that was not the case, that we had to physically bring the old car seat to there office. We are NO WHERE near there office & do not see it as our responsibility to drive 150 miles out of the way or have to pay for shipping when we were not at fault. \r What they offered us for our totaled vehicle was a joke. I encourage Everyone who has problems with this company to contact the South Carolina Insurance Commission. Their phone number is 803-737-6160\r , of you can google for their website. File a complaint with the Insurance Commission against them. You can also file for arbitration in the county your accident occurred. It only costs $5 to do this. If you call the SCIC they can explain all of this to you. more

If their policy holder is at fault, you're screwed. 1/28/2011

They do not deserve even 1 star.\r \r My car was totaled in Nov 2010 by one of their policy holders. Actually, their policy holder was in the passenger seat choking his gf who was driving. Both were drunk. They ran through a 4 way stop, hitting the vehicle myself & my 18 month old were in. They also hit a 2nd car that was sitting at the 4 way stop. The driver & the policy holder were both taken to jail that night.\r This happened on a Sat night. It was Friday before GCI was kind enough to arrange for us a rental car. (Was told by Angela she was doing me a favor by approving rental car at all since they by law had 30 days to do anything) This was after 5 days of GCI giving us misinformation, not returning phone calls & treating me like I was inconveniencing them by being hit by their drunk driver.\r After 2 weeks we were given an ""offer"" for our van. It was a joke. We searched for a van that was comparable to our for that amount but we couldn't find anything even close. Since they had made us an offer, no matter how pathetic, they no longer were obligated to provide a rental. We even told ANGELA we would accept their offer if she could show us 3 vehicles which were comparable to ours for sale with in 100 miles. She could not. \r We have had to share my husbands truck since November. We have a 1 year old, as well as a 10 year old & 12 year old. Every time I struggle to get my 25lb toddler in and out of the truck or watch our two older boys sitting miserably crunched in the seats next to their brother's car seat (extended cab-2 door truck), or they have to miss out on an activity bc their dad needs the truck for work, I get angry all over again. I didn't drive a van bc it was my dream vehicle. I drove it bc we have 3 children.\r We filed for arbitration in December. This is just to determine the value of our van. GCI, not to break with what is apparently their policy, is dragging their feet on answering the arbitration letter. We just want to not have to drive a vehicle which is worth less than the one we had prior to being hit by their HIGH RISK policy holder. I don't think that's asking too much. GCI disagrees apparently. The unprofessionalism demonstrated by what works at GCI is something to behold. \r Word of advice: Record every conversation you have with any one at GCI. more

VERY BAD EXPERIENCE 1/27/2011

OMG! This is so true!!!! We were hit by one of their insured driver's who was driving under the influence!!!! The accident happened back in 2009 and we cannot get this issue resolved. They do not tell the truth. Each time we finally get someone on the phone they change the reasons for delaying payment to us. We are so frustrated and need to see about contacting the BBB and local media b/c we're not from that area. I am so pleased to hear that we're not the only ones getting the run around!!! more

Worst Insurance Company 1/19/2011

This company is no doubt worst insurance company. They don't have basic courtsey to respond you when you leave a voice mail. You call up claims dept and it is always engage, that means they dont have sufficient staff or intentionaly then keep phone engage. Whatever staff commits they don't follow specifically with claims department. They will keep whole matter hanging because they do not want to pay single penny so, you fed up taking follow-up with them and finally you go to your insurance company even you are not at fault. Your insurance company will go after GCI but then they will not pay complete amount even you were not at fault. This is how you loose your money without your fault! It seems I have to give rating here so, giving single star rating. Otherwise no star is applicable for GCI in reality. more

bad experience 1/4/2011

this is the worst insurance I ever had to deal with\r I had an accident with GCI driver and they only want to pay about half of what my car is worth, i had 3injured passangers on my car and they never called me to ask if they are ok and im stil waiting for the money of the total lost and my medical bills, its been 4months ....\r i would never recomend anybody to get insurance with them and if anyone ever have an accident with GCI driver... you will se how they handle things... more
