I definitely love the taste of Chinese cuisine. This is one of the restaurants where I usually bring my guests. The service is exceptional and the wait staff is so nice. I love Chinese restaurants because they always have big portions and the food is served piping hot. I also like the way they spice their food. Grand China does not disappoint. The wonton soup is great and their dimsum is outstanding. I always go here if I'm really really hungry because I know I can fill my belly for a reasonable price Pros: big servings more

I have never written a review before, so I hope I'm doing this right! I am REALLY picky when it comes to Chinese food, and this Grand China is by far the best. You will really like it. The Won Ton Soup is great...actually the best I've ever tasted...and I don't like soup! LOL You have to give it a try. The great thing...they deliver! If you are a regular, they really get to know their customers...and learn your order if you're like me and order the same thing every time. Hope you like it! It's Excellent Food :-) more

In all of the times I have been there, I never found anything that I didn't like. The portion sizes are large, the price is reasonable, and the flavor is excellent. The owners and staff are very friendly and the cook will make whatever you want and do a good job. I once asked for kung-pau beef, not on the menu, and they happily made it for me. I highly recommend this restaruant! Great Chinese Food!!! more

Well done Grand China Restaurtant..... This place is very impressive, when i walked I was greeted by and wonderful host. Soon after I sat the waiter arrived being very polite, the food and service was magnifisent, and the envirorment was great. i give this restaurtant five stars for the fact that it was in all ways wonderful. more

Great Value restaurant With its location and food, Grand China has been known to be one of the best hidden secrets in Atlanta amongst students and faculty members in Buckhead. Like any other restaurants, it all depends on what you order. Grand Chians ""plate rice"" dishes, they are by far the best, so give them a try and welcome to the crowd. more

The dim sum is very fine and served all week and at any time of day, quite rare outside NYC. It may be missing that last spark found in the premier locations in NYC, but I find it easily the best dim sum, and in fact the best Cantonese, in Atlanta. more

Yummy!! This is the best dim sum place I have been to so far! The dishes are fresh and come straight from the kitchen. The service is super friendly, helpful, and most importantly QUICK! There is no waiting around starved at this place and even the poorest diners will come out full as the prices are totally economic. I love this place and fully agree that it should be kept quiet so that it remains unspoiled!! more

In Short Grand China is focused on its food, not it's décor--just as you should be. Saunter in off the street for a snack, or plan a group dim sum feast, but either way you will find a wonderful bounty of fresh flavors and ingredients, served to you. Minced shrimp finds its way into meltingly soft stuffed eggplant and tiny, pursed dumplings that are ingeniously light. more

I get take out from this restaurant and like to order chinese basic foods that I can't find anywhere else in Atlanta. It's the simple pleasures like fried rice with salty fish that make this restaurant so worth it for me! They have quick and polite service along with fair prices - can't beat it! more

I do not like saying bad things about restaurants but there food was not good at all. I called for a delivery and it was gross. The chicken was nasty and hard and the steak smelled so bad I had to throw it out. The only thing that was good was the rice. I pray that the people who work at Grand China read this and let this review help them cook and prepare better meals. Thank you. more

I'd say their shrimp is really very good! Nice people and friendly staff. \r \r You can't go wrong. Waiting time during rush hour gets crazy though so call in advance. more

i have gone there a total of 4 times (twice takeout) and it has been perfect. The beef is full of flavor everything was great especially the shrimp. The sweet and spicy beef was great. No complaints more

i love the shrimp~ mmmmm.... if you are going on a weekend, reservations are a must. generally a family style restaurant which adds a bit of fine dinning and contemporary style to the mix. take out or dine in, you'll enjoy the lovely hostesses in chinese shirts and the nice dim evening atmosphere. Best yet, they have a nice variety of wines and western type desserts which are unusual for a chinese restaurant. more

Fantastic restaurant all around...concept, staff, service, menu. and cuisine. i have worked in the industry for over 6 years and service doesn't come like this much often. they seem to go the extra mile. food is delicious with lots of selections on the menu. This is the only restaurant where i have numerous menu items i order rather then the same 1 or 2 i usually get from other places. lots of comparison to others but Grand China ranks above. more

Since moving to the U.S from the U.K 5 years ago I have been on a personal quest to find good chinese food here on the east coast, my search stopped at the Grand China! Service is friendly and the food is the best chinese food in Georgia. The chicken and the pork chow mein are two personal favorites, I also love the fact that you can order half portions, so no more do I deliberate over which of my favorites to choose, I can have both with some left over for luch tomorrow:-) My only complaint is that as I dont live closer to the place! more
