I was thrilled and excited to see Rebate form in digitized format, I could select any Electrolux item which qualified for rebate, and it showed me instant savings. I only purchase...

Awful delivery, but Number1Direct/Goedecker's refunded all delivery charges.

This has been one of the worse retail experiences I have ever had. I bought $6000 worth of appliances from Goedeker's and they arrived at my house all beat up and one (the GE Washer/Dryer unit) doesn't even work at all. I had GE come out to try to repair and it is not able to be repaired. I have been trying for 3 months to get Goedeker’s to replace it and I have only gotten passed off to various staff (Bridgette Kuster, Brenna Davis, Lisa Hawks) saying they are ""looking into it."" Now, they all dodge my calls and when I leave messages, neglect to call me back. \r \r I can't believe they are still in business. I will do my best to spread the word of how I've been treated via every medium I can. These guys are thieves, in my opinion. Selling second-rate products and not standing behind them when they don't even work. more

EXTREMELY BAD DELIVERY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE\r \r We placed an order for $5,500.00 on August 31st, for Labor Day sales. Over the phone, we were guaranteed a delivery within 3 weeks but it should be sooner.\r We received a shipment notice on Sept 13th but it was just the beginning of lies and nightmares for us. We had daily contact with Goedeker's. Every day since then, they told us that that our order will be picked up the same day by freight forwarder and take a week to be delivered to us. We have asked for a resolution and alternative in freight forwarder but nothing was done to fulfill request. There is no progress on the status of our order. The customer service is not only terrible but also incompetent. I even have cc'd the President of the company bit either he doesn't care or he has too many of these requests to attend to!\r They claim on their website to have the best customer service and do the best of their ability to make their customer happy; 2 solutions then, either they lie or they really are incompetent; or maybe a lot of both!\r We are still waiting for our order to leave their warehouse at this time.\r We are renovating our apartment and the delayed delivery caused delay in the kitchen buildout, extra expenses not only to our contractor but also toward our rent as we will have to stay one more month in our current apartment.\r We are extremely disappointed to have received customer service like this, especially when they advertise so widely their customer service and Christian values. more

TERRIBLE COMPANY -- SCAM ARTISTS\r \r Do yourself a favor, and order from somewhere else. They tout on their website ""100% satisfaction guaranteed"", then do NOTHING to satisfy the customer. My item arrived from a separate company in a flimsy, beat up box with dents on it. ""Customer Service"" told me I'm ""not allowed"" to return an item once I get it (?) which of course is a load of crap. \r \r I talked to a customer service rep.... received no help ... then was connected to a supervisor ... and received no help. In fact, I found out they do NOT provide return shipping labels, and charge a 25% hidden ""restocking fee"" to return your item. In a pathetic attempt to get me to keep a product I didn't want, the supervisor flat-out lied to me on the phone, saying it cost them over $100 to ship the item to me, when the item itself cost $90!!! How would they make a profit, if that were the case!?! She said she 'did me a favor and looked up the cost of return shipping, and it wouldn't be worth it for me to return it.'. I did my own research and it only cost $17 to FedEx the item back. \r \r Don't bother writing to ""Steve"", the company's owner. His email is listed on their website with a friendly-looking photo (probably catfish) inviting people to write him anytime. So I did. I got a short-worded response from somebody who was NOT Steve saying he's happy to reduce the return shipping costs to a whopping $15. Two-dollar savings. WOW, what a guy. \r \r Do yourself a favor and order from a legitimate company. The peace of mind you'll get from the extra dollars you'll spend elsewhere are well worth the price. These people have no business being in the service industry. more

I received excellent service a few years ago when I bought a clothes washer and dryer from Goedeker's. Now we are renovating our kitchen . I performed extensive research to find the best deal for the five appliances I need and ended up saving over $700 compared to the closest competitor. The customer service I received was simply outstanding. I wanted a new double oven which they did not carry so I called them. Within 2 hours they had researched the oven and added it to their database. I was amazed to get that return call so quickly. more

After researching...we purchased a Samsung refrigerator from Goedekers. The difference in price from our local Sears was $700.00! Sure we had to wait a little longer for it to ship to us...but that was no big deal. Communication and status updates were terrific throughout the process. I will buy from them again...without a doubt. I'd also like to say that it's awesome to see a company who espouses Christian values proudly...it was a big part in our decision to buy from them. more

Beware, this is a mom and pop operation masquerading as a national retailer. If you appliances arrive damaged (if they arrive at all) you are pretty much on your own. Ordered 4 appliances, 3 arrived damaged. The microwave I ordered had a huge dent in it that was not discovered until the contractor unpacked. Goedekers refused to replace or refund. I was told that they would send me a new cover for it or I could pay to return their damaged product and pay a 20% restocking fee to return it. Don't believe what this company says about their corporate values, I have dealt with more ethical used car dealerships. more

As previous reviewer stated, BEWARE if your appliances arrived damaged. The company that delivers will tell you don't worry if anything is damaged as they will replace. NOT TRUE. They do rush the delivery as well. Did not discover damage until installer was fully unpacking. Microwave has HUGE dent in it.... Goedekers says sorry you didn't note that upon delivery. Box had rip in it, mentioned it to delivery company who assured us it would be fine. They offered to order a new case from Samsung and a $25 credit, told us to get fixed....I'm not even sure this thing will work if plugged in and frankly I am kind of afraid to based on how it looks.....I would suggest you get their white glove delivery, this way you can get everything unpacked while the delivery company is there. Has anyone tried to quickly unpack a dishwasher, stove and microwave curbside so you can fully inspect before delivery company leaves in five minutes? -- Good luck. more

Purchased a dishwasher & range, both came in damaged (hidden, could see untill ready to install). Called and was told GE had to handle the exchange or repair. Called GE and had to wait a week for a service perosn to come out. Have to take off work to meet them today. I was told that after the appliances are evaluated it can take another 2-3 weeks for new ones to arrive. Beware if your appliances are damaged, they do nothing to help. Spent hours on the phone. Also there is no way to track your order. Their delivery people are in a huge hurry and don't really give you a chance to take a good look at the appliances when they are delivered. more

Purchase elsewhere! First, when we realized the fridge would be too large,my spouse calls and is told it will cost 500 to restock ( half of the original cost) since it is ""In transit"" LIE! SO husband decides to keep fridge and resell on Craigs, but it arrives dented and Goedekers will not take back or compensate! Unknown to me husband orders another fridge ( he admits he is an idiot) and washer dryer from this horrid business! The dryer stand is dented they claim and it will be shipped FED EX! HMM how about taking the first dented fridge back?? NOO that would be GOOD SERVICE! Then the second fridge shows up a week early, no notice ( luckily we are home, no call) since old fridge needs to be removed. Bottom line listen to all the bad reviews! This business is HOrRID CURRENTLY MR. STEVE IS SUPPOSE TO CALL BY THE END OF THE DAY because he was in a "" meeting"" yeah right( so his customer service rep claimed) it is past 6 p.m and still no call. Support, SEARS, LOWES, Home Depot they need your business it is worth the few extra bucks! Like my dad always claimed you get what you pay for! BEWARE more

Awhile back I was at a trivia night and there was a silent auction. I bid on a package that had one of Goedeker's gift cards and another company's gift card. I bid on these because I always appreciated what Mr. Goedeker stood for, that his store was closed on Sundays and that it supposedly was a good super store. Anyway, living in the city I kept thinking, ""when am I ever going to get to Ballwin""? So, this past week as I was preparing the dinner menu for my Dad on Father's Day I realized that I could really use one of those big drink blenders. I went on-line at Goedekers.com and looked over the whole website. I found one that I liked and also found an outside table that I REALLY liked and thought that I was going to have a problem deciding what to get. So, on the hottest day of the summer so far I trudge out to Ballwin, walk into the store, have a salesman come up to me and ask what I am looking to purchase and when I asked for a blender he asked me what I said and then said, ""we don't have anything like that here."" And he walked away. Thanks. Great. As I looked around there is NOTHING in the store for the price of my gift certificate that I could settle for and only large appliances and furniture. I am VERY disappointed. I do NOT need any appliance or furniture. I came back home and looked over your website AGAIN. Goedekers.com is similar to but not the same as Goedekers Number One Direct. NO WHERE does it state that the only thing on-site is appliances and furniture. Even as I click on the blender I was thinking about (that I ended up buying somewhere else on my way home) I notice that it doesn't say that it's only sold on-line.Before you think to yourself ""how stupid could she be that she thought that all these items could be in one location?"" Let me answer that for you. First, I remember your store being referred to as a Superstore and second, I do not live in Ballwin. I have never been to your store. I find solace in the fact that the money I spent ""winning"" the gift cards went to a worthy cause, but I am truly unhappy. more

About a month ago, I ordered $4000 worth of appliances from these people! Two weeks later, my shipment arrived and after dealing with a jerk of a delivery driver from the freight company, I had to refuse one of the items as damaged. I called for a replacement and was told they didn't know how long it would take to ship, but since the first shipment didn't take too long (hello!!!! two weeks is pretty long to me in today's internet world!), it should arrive shortly. Well, I just find out that the replacement is just shipping out today (two weeks since the first ordeal). Also, went to install my new dishwasher today from the original shipment and there was a big dent in the corner that we didn't catch and a big hole in the bottom of the unit and it doesn't work! I was just told by customer service that unless we signed for it as damaged too that there's pretty much nothing that can be done. They will gladly reorder us another one at full price or since it doesn't work, we can send pictures and they will give us a ""damage allowance"". I totally regret ever ordering ANYTHING from this company!!!! more

They had the Samsung microwave I was looking for in stock at the best price I found on the internet. I received it a few days after ordering it online. It was packaged in the original Samsung box inside a very sturdy outside box and had no damage. more
