- I look forward to getting home from work and watching a nice movie. I haven't had my hd dvd player that long, it has however been working overtime since school started. I am not a picky person when it comes to electronics, if it has the features I am looking for and is reasonably priced I purchase it. It goes very nice with my TV and since my TV is HD as well, picture quality is perfect I could not ask for better player. I had done some comparison shopping and contacted sales. The next thing I knew is that I had made my purchase and I getting my player. I will always continue to shop at Number1direct. more

I just wanted to tell you I'm absolutely thrilled at how Number1direct has managed my order! Amazing! First I order the icemaker, then had to cancel it and then ultimately re-instate it...and customer service was with me every step of the way, and in real time no less! Usually online ordering is so much more impersonal...you have no idea who you're talking with and what's happening...and you wait, wait, wait...have been there ""in-person"" the whole time! I hope you can be recognized somehow for your outstanding customer service--:) THANKS A MILLION more

They Lie and Mislead. I am suing them!!!!! 12/10/2010

STAY AWAY! These guys are a scam. I am suing them for misrepresentation and punitive damages. Not only did they lie about their delivery to get my business, not only do they misrepresent and make false claims, they are utterly unprofessional and rude. I paid nearly $1,800 for a Samsung frig and dishwasher and they were going to just dump it on the side walk in front of my house in pouring rain. When I placed the order, I knew better than just take their word for free delivery. I discussed the specifics, even answered questions about if there is an elevator, number of flighs of stairs, dog present, etc. Yet, They ended up charging me $35 anyway under the title of fuel charge. I let that go. But, when It came to delivering it to my home, they said you have to pay us another $100 if you want us to deliver it inside. They cancelled my order and charged me and additional $500. I have a 7 month old baby and we've been without a frig for over two weeks now. My wife has to biol water to wash the bottles. I talked to customer service, (and emailed them) saying how they are causing my wife and my new born hardship, but the customer service hung up on me. I am mad as hell and have already talked to an attorney. Stay tuned. I am going to teach N1D a lesson. more

I have made purchase online before and found that Number 1 was pretty good. I was able to locate what I was looking for at a price I did not mind paying. I did have to call to make sure that the item was on its way but I prefer to have some contact with the person I am ordering from. They told me that the item was on back order and that it would be could be several week. I understood that this was not their fault since they are basically, they are the middle man in this. I told them that was fine. I did not need it right away. About 2 weeks later, I received the item in good condition. more

We ordered a ge range from number1direct with no problem. We elected to have our new range delivered curbside. The delivery was setup on the date we wanted and within the timeframe we wanted. The truck driver was professional and courteous, even asking if we needed help moving the range down the driveway. more

The delivery arrived on time and in good condition in spite of cross county storms. We had a slight problem after using local installation and customer service sent a factory rep from out of town. The problem was corrected at the time of the service visit. I found all aspects of ordering from this company true to their advertising! more

Awsome Refrigerator not so Great Delivery 9/30/2010

Delivery was on time, but the website does not make it clear.. they DO NOT bring it in the house.. it literally is curbside!! My husband was quite upset and the delivery guy helped him get it to the garage. We had to hire a man to help him get it in the house! Soooo... the fridge is awesome, but delivery was not up to par. We did have to take off the doors to get it in b/c of it's size, but it was all worth it in the end to have such a wonderful fridge that makes day to day living with kids and entertaining MUCH easier! more

I have read the reviews and I have had a great experience with my purchase for Number1. Ordering the from Number1 was ok, ordering was easy and clear. Took a few weeks, since this dishwasher had to be special ordered. The trucking company called and set up a date a week ahead of time. Delivery was prompt and the product arrived in good condition. more

These people are thieves! I ordered a refrigerator, an oven, and a microwave from them. All came damaged the first time. A month later they redelivered and the refrigerator was missing and the oven was damaged again. When I told them I didn't want to deal with them anymore and I just wanted my money back, they said I would have to pay a restocking fee for the oven that they damaged! twice! They also have no idea how long it will take, how much it will cost, or when I will see any of my money. It's been a month and a half since my original order and I have no appliances and no money! These people do not deserve to be in business. Also, I think they're writing reviews on themselves to counter all the bad reviews they are actually getting. How pathetic. Don't be a sucker! DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY!!! more

Number1Direct did not hesitate to replace the first or second order. If they had not been prompt and professional I would have cancelled my order after the second failed delivery. Would purchase from them again. I would hope they use the carrier that delivered my third order Let me explain : First delivery personnel were rude and the product was damaged. The second delivery was lost by the carrier. The third arrived in good condition. The carrier person was friendly and professional. more
