Non-warranty repair expectations exceeded! 11/22/2013

My car was overheating & had it towed in. Radiator was punctured by fan propelling stones into it. Not covered under warranty. I was impressed with their service. Proper diagnosis, repair, timely, and Mary did everything she could to keep the cost down. I cried tears of joy when the bill was much less than expected. Highly recommended! Mary is a superb assistant service manager! more

SANTA FE 2013 ENGINE PROBLEMS 11/13/2013

MY NAME IS MICHAEL SHEARED AND I TRADED IN MY 2008 SANTA FE AND PURCHASED A NEW 2013 SANTA FE SPORT ON AUGUST 28, 2013. I HEARD A KNOCKING NOICE THAT I HAD THOUGHT WAS A GAS ISSUE AND TOOK THE VEHICLE IN FOR SERVICE ON 10/26/13. ON 10/29/13 I WAS CONTACTED TO INFORM ME THAT THE ENGINE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE CAR HAD 1195 MILES ON IT AND THE OIL HAD NOT EVEN BEEN CHANGED FOR THE 1ST TIME. NOT HAPPY I CALLED MY SALESMEN WHO BASICALLY WAS OF NO HELP OTHER THAN TO RELACE THE VEHICLE AND RAISE MY CAR NOTE. THE CAR WAS FIXED AND RETURNED ON 11/05/13. TODY IS 11/12/13 AND THE CAR HAS ANOTHER KNOCKING ENGINE NOICE AND THE CAR DOES NOT EVEN HAVE 2000 MILE ON IT. THIS HAS BEEN THE WORST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!! I HAVE TALKED TO MULTIPLE PEOPLE AND NO ONE HAS EVER HEARD OF A NEW CAR NEEDING AN ENGINE REPLACEMENT AT 1100 MILES AND NOW A 2ND KNOCKING ISSUE IS ABSERB. I AM A VERY DISAPPOINTED REPEAT HYUNDAI OWNER THAT WILL NEVER PURCHASE OR RECOMMEND TO ANYONE. I HAVE NEVER WRITTEN OR COMPLAINED TO ANY AUTO DEALER OR SERVICE PROVIDER BUT THIS IS WAY, WAY OVER THE TOP OF A CUSTOMER DISSATISFACTION. THAT IS ALL AND THANK YOU more
