A couple of weeks ago I was lost in your store, needed service and got a big run around until I met RAFAEL GARRIDO. He was extremely knowledgeable, courteous, attentive and kind. He knew how to determine exactly what I needed, what my options were and what steps I needed to take to resolve my problem. I don't know what you're paying RAFAEL but I doubt if it's enough! Perhaps you could put him in a role as trainer/teacher? Thanks! Toni more

So Confusing 6/30/2011

OMG, this place is daunting. I've never been to a Fry's before, but it's a like huge warehouse full of geek gear. My boyfriend came here because he needed some stuff for his computer and there's aisles and aisles of stuff just for computers. I guess you have to know what you're doing to shop here. They do have some appliances and t.v. You pretty much have to know what you're doing to shop here. There are alot of people here and there don't seem to be enough people to help. My boyfriend needed help finding something in particular and there weren't enough employees around to help out. It was as if I were at Home Depot. more

VERY SLOW REPAIR DEPARTMENT 5/21/2009

I dropped my computer off on a Monday after being told on the phone that I could ""just bring it in"". When I got there I had to pay in advance for back up and diagnosis and once they had my money it has been a never ending parade of excuses as to why they still do not even know what is wrong with the thing FOUR DAYS LATER. I have explained that this is our business and my livelihood and they act sympathetic and then continue to get nothing done. If you have important data on your computer and need it repaired in a hurry THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO TAKE IT. Pros: Hoping to find something good Cons: Will waste your time and money more

I could spend all day inside this store. Although, the customer service and some of the lines are a pain in the butt, being a guy it's still interesting to see new things in the areas of my liking. Some prices are better if you know what you are looking for. more

bad shipping 8/27/2006

initially I choose FREE ground shipping, but the website automatically to 2 day shipping without my knowledge. Pros: a bit cheap, when there is deal Cons: changing the shipping method at will, where the FREE ground shipping is selected more

save your time, order on-line 6/15/2003

Absolutely the worst experience. First, there were no help around to answer questions about product line they carry, then I ended up buying a second choice of CDRW that didn't work. I stood in line for 45 minutes and there was only one other person in front of me waiting and four CS on the monitors at the counter. The other person in line tells me it's always like this. Couple of days later I called them to see if they have my first choice of CDRW. Four time their system cut me off. When I finally got through they ask to leave a message since that dept is too busy. Oh, and the main (only) number listed is the switchboard and the operator doesn't have access to the system. Looks like Fry's is still in 19th century. Cons: no customer service, disorganized, too slow more
