Expectations exceeded 12/19/2011

Today we had our semiannual system service performed by technician Skip Walker. Skip was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Since switching to Freedom over two years ago the technicians and services provided by the Freedom team have consistently exceeded our expectations. Today was no exception; Skip took the time to fully answer my questions and thoroughly explain everything he noted during the service call. more

I have used Freedom for years to maintain the heat pump I had and when I had to purchase a new one, I called them. They gave me several options and thoroughly explained things before I made a decision on the unit. Excellent products, sales people, service techs and service after the sale. Great folks to work with. more

We have been customers of Freedom for around 25 years... I think before Freedom was formed, as they bought Covenant Heating and Air. We have three HVAC systems, one on each level. On October 26, 2011 D.J. Busby (service technician) came to our home and did a great job. It was like it was his own company. He got it right: spent the time that was needed, answered all our questions, made recommendations. Freedom will do well to keep this as their standard. There is a lot of competition out there nowadays, and Freedom seems to understand that. It's not enough to do great service. You've got to get even better every time you interact with customers, and find new ways to excel in the customer's eyes. more

No Heat Call 12/12/2011

On one of the coldest nights this year I got home after work which is late and my thermostat would not come on. I have insurance with another company so I called them and they said they couldn't have anyone come out til the next day so after arguing with them I remembered that I had used Freedom H & C previously before so I called them up and they came right out. My tech name was D. J. Busby and he was very friendly and professional and he found the problem right away and fixed it. He did a great job and I truly reccommend Freedom H & C to others. more

Purchased a air/heating unit and received excellent service 12/7/2011

My experience with Freedom has been nothing but great. They have been professional, understanding and took into consideration my needs. They didn't try and sell me something I didn't need. They explained what was installed and answered all questions. Months after my units were installed, I needed someone to explain one of the functions. They immediately sent someone over the same day I called. I would recommend them to anyone that needs their services. more


Very pleased with service 12/7/2011

On a cold, wet morning (Wed, Dec 7), my heat would not come on. I turn the thermo down at night. I called Freedom approx. 7:30 am. By 8:00 service tech, DJ Busby arrived. By 10:00, HVAC dual 3.5 ton unit was back in service even though a trip to B'ham for part was required. The part was indicated on the invoice as costing $143. Service call $59. Total bill, $202. Busby seemed knowledgeable, polite and efficient. Who knows what a replacement "high limit switch" actually cost? Frankly, $143 seems high even for "high limit". But, hey, $200 and two hours and the heat is back on, just when it is most needed. Thank you and Merry Christmas. PS: On Nov. 3, Freedom did a fall service inspection and found nothing wrong with my unit. My unit's failure fell just 6 days beyond the 30 day warranty period. Isn't that the way it always is? Just out of the warranty period. Just over the limit. more

Bruce Roy conducted an annual inspection and installed a humidifier 12/4/2011

While he was working on the inspection I asked if he could give me a quote on a humidifier.He said yes and they could install it that day. I gave the go ahead and am very pleased with their performance. more
