They guys that did the initial inspection we’re very knowledgeable and informative. The installation crew were very prompt, courteous, and professional.

Worst

Overpriced for services provided. Offer you their preferred home warranty with discount pricing that you pay a big premium for, and then the price of their service doubles!

Had to call after hours as always 7/23/2018

Think it is bad that we continually call for repairs since this unit has been installed.. still letting out freion that was put in last of dec or Jan because someone didn’t want to work. The last guy you sent out is at least one that doesn’t seem to mind working when he is sent out. more

Need to diferentitate between average and technically sophisticated owners. 7/15/2018

First we wish to note the prompt service we received on Friday afternoon when we discovered that our Carrier high rise water cooled air conditioning units failed. The service man unfortunately was unable to make the repair but did arrange next day service. We learned, however, that technicians are not very well trained in the intricacies of these products. Last April we had one unit replaced on an emergency basis but the BOSCH which is very noisy we have subsequently learned is a low end unit and dealer did not provide us with various options for us to consider what model specifications to chose. In the current case the technicians (2 of theme) were simply unaware of key options that can extend life of compressors and higher quality as indicated by manufacturer warranties of ten years instead of 5 years. Yes prompt service. But no capability to offer differentiated advice. We obviously mistakenly assumed that Four Star was a high end knowledgeable service provider which apparently is not the case. more

A pleasurable as well as professional experience from the initial phone call to the plumber (Ralph) knowledge, expertise & excellent personal customer service skills. Four Star came highly recommended and it’s apparent as to why they are so well thought of. more

Your technicians did a very good job in what I consider record time 7/10/2018

The technicians were a bit baffled upon arrival, evaluated the project and went straight to work completing the removal and installation of the new equipment with no problems. They were polite, non interfering and overall did a fantastic job. I am quite satisfied with the job that they did including the initial contact with Curt on Saturday June 3, 2018. I was pleased that when I called on that day I was able to receive repair service, however since our existing equipment failed you did not charge us for that service call. more

Outside Shower Repair 6/26/2018

Technician was very knowledgable and helpful. Did an excellent job and explained what he had to do to fix the problem and the cost before doing the job. Would highly recommend Four Star and will continue to use them for Air Conditioning and Plumbing. more

Excellent and prompt service 6/23/2018

Placed call - explained problem - lady was very friendly and answered and explained everything - Jack arrived before appointed time (it was a Saturday so I expected later) He promptly identified problem, provided an estimate and explained all cost in detail and why. The work was very professional and completed promptly. In bringing in the new unit and taking out the old he was very careful and did not damage the walls. The cleanup was also very good. nothing for me to due but wait for the water to get hot so I could take a shower. Would want him to come again if I require your services. Would recommend to my friends. more

Nice people but need more training. Took 3 different technicians to diagnose a run of the mill window unit. 2 didn’t have the right equipment. 2 yo unit failed and warranty was not applicable. Disappointed. more

No second thoughts 6/19/2018

We had an AC unit installed last fall at a rental unit in Myrtle Beach. The initial salesman gave us an excellent deal. He was not with the company when we returned but his promises were honored by the new serviceman. We had to have them come out again last week as it needed freon (apparently when installed in the cooler weather this can be an issue). The young man who came out was just as knowledgeable, respectful and courteous as the others who have come out. We highly recommend this company for parts and service! more

I am very pleased with my service from Four Star heating and air. From the time that i called into the office the were very helpful. The dispatcher was able to answer all of my questions and get me scheduled for service to my furnace and air conditioner right away. The technician was very knowledgeable and walked me through the entire repair process. He even offered me 2 different solutions to get the job done. I will definitely recommend them to anyone who needs this type off service in the future, and will used them for all of my heating and cooling needs. more
