This is in response to the individual who posted the ONLY negative comment about this awesome vet: You are obviously suffering from some sort of issue or psychosis that leads you to having to bash and assign blame to anyone but yourself when you are not happy with the explanation and/or diagnosis that you were given. My advice to you keep moving from vet to vet until you find the one that will tell you what you want to hear, and not what is best for your animal. Good luck and good riddance!\r Dr. Graff and his staff have been the utmost in professionalism and compassion to my family for almost 13 years. During that time, he and his staff has taken care of all of my dogs, Cisco, Max, Ginger, Sherman and Pumpkin. His spot-on diagnosis and comprehensive treatment has improved the quality of life for all my animals. In fact, I credit him for saving and extending the lives of two of my dogs that had cancer. For as long as we have known him, he has been straightforward and honest without exception, even when the news was not what we wanted to hear. I would like to give you a brief example of his genuine concern for the animals under his care: We have a dog that is unable to be taken to his clinic to be seen, and without hesitation, he and his staff offered to come to my home (in Falcon) to treat her. Try getting your average vet to make a house call. I have relocated several times over the years, most recently to Falcon, CO, and we are still more than willing to make the drive to Fountain to have him take care of our family. \r more

Liar! 3/15/2013

to those that say this place isn't wonderful. I know differently.\r My pets have been seeing Dr. Graf for many years now. Recently my creative Corgi got into the trash (again!), only this time she threw up the wad of gunk. I was relieved that nothing worse had happened until the next day when she wasn't hungry. Just to be clear, Bear NEVER turns down food. So something was very very wrong. I called Dr. Graf's office basically freaking out that Bear was dying. The nice lady on the other end of the phone told me to come down immediately, and assured me they would see bear as soon as I arrived. Sure enough as soon as I got there they treated her as a priority case and had the Doctor take a look. She wasn't dying, however she was very sick. A couple X-rays and some medication and she is now her usual glutinous self. Thanks to Dr. Graf and his wonderful staff for helping me and my precious garbage gut corgi. more

The staff at Dr. Graf's office is wonderful! I have been taking my pets there for over 10 years and as a pet groomer, I have listed this clinic as my preferred with the State. I would go NOWHERE else! more

Editorial review from Citysearch 11/27/2012

I absolutely LOVE the entire staff at Fountain Creek Veterinary Clinic. They are all unfailingly friendly, kind, and polite. They are knowledgeable and professional. I've taken several of my pets there over the years and have been pleased every time. They are also very affordable - much more so than any other vet I've used in Colorado Springs in the past 25 years. more

Editorial review from Citysearch 9/25/2012

My daughter and I have been taking our pets to Dr. Graf for almost two years. Dr. Graf combines the compassion and personal touch of an old-style vet with state of the art knowledge and care. His staff is unfailingly kind and helpful. As other patients have said, if you need your pet seen quickly, they will find a way to get you in fast. The comments from Alicia T. are very puzzling--inconsistent with what everyone else has said. I'm wondering if she has this vet practice confused with another one that has a similar business name. Maybe she went to Fountain Valley, not Fountain Creek Vets. more

In responce to negative review 7/31/2012

To all those who read reviews please remember, there is no accountability for what is said. If a person doesn't get the diagnosis they want to hear, as in Alicia T.'s case, they can write anything. I'm sorry that the radiographs did not show what they had hoped for. Too bad they had already bred him and passed on this painful disease before having him x-rayed. Because you don't believe the doctors dianosis doesn't make it true, which is why we sent the films to a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon (at no cost to Alicia) to confirm Dr. Graf's diagnosis and hopefully offer peace of mind. We do everything possible to communicate with clients and resolve a situation. Sometimes, it just isn't possible. Thank you for the thousands of clients we have who brighten our days with a smile, card, or just a kind word. It is because of you we are able to smile back and continue to practice quality caring pet healthcare in the face of lies posted against us. Patty more

Amazing Vet, amazing staff 4/4/2012

Dr. Graf has been seeing my pets for almost 12 years now. We recently had to put down, my yellow lab -Conner, due to hip dysplasia. Dr.Graf and his staff had been taking care of him since he was a pup. Dr. Graf, Patty, and his staff have always made me feel very important and not like just another ""case"". They made me feel as though losing Conner was not just a loss to me, but to them as them as well. They all have great caring, personalities and you can tell in their smiles they are there for the better health of the animals. more

Wow, sorry I think you're a liar 3/29/2012

I didn't even sign on here to write a review, but find out some othe info, but after reading Lawarence I have to say something. I've known Dr. Graf for many years and I'm sorry but your a liar. I guess I should say I've more than known him, I worked for him for a while. His policy is, if he dianoses hip x-rays as showing hip dysplasia then he sends the films to have x-rays reviewed if the owners would like. He sends them to one of the top Board Certified Ortho docs in a 4 state region. I also know that they don't charge for this extra consult. I know for a fact that they are not just out for money. I sure would like to talk to the staff and find out the truth to this story. I bet it's a good one. Just a rough guess is that you didn't get the answer you wanted and your dog has bad hips and are ticked. Grow up. I sure hope that you have proof that you were charged 300 dollars twice and all the other crap you said (which I bet you don't) because I know you can be charged with professional slander and this just might be the case that that should happen. I just know the staff and doc to well, you're a liar. The staff are so polite and they, including doc, go above and beyond to care for people and their pets. Boy would I like to hear the truth. If you got x-ray results showing your dog has good hips why not scan them and put them here and prove your story, oh, it's because you can't. SJ more

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE - sub-standard vet clinic, not safe 2/21/2012

Had very bad experiences with this clinic.... I kept going back because I heard good reviews about the place but it never got better. Absolutly terrible rude staff. Most recently I took my German Shepherd in to be Xrayed for hip dysplasia. I specifically asked for OFA xrays (the official orthopedic foundation) at the first appointment and ALSO the day I dropped him off. I was charged over $300 with the understanding I would get an OFA certification. It involves anesthesia to put the dog to sleep and requires the hip completely straight. 3 weeks later I called asking wh it was taking so long to get results. They then told me that they NEVER SENT THE XRAYS IN. It took 3 weeks to give me that info!!!!!!! Instead, I was charged $300 for Xrays that they sent to a local clinic. The clinic recommended that the Xrays be repeated due to my dogs pelvis being rotated and crooked on the Xray. Dr Graf's clinic refused to reshoot the badly taken Xrays. When I took my dog back to redo the Xrays they charged me full price again, even though it was their fault for not taking a good Xray. They never even said ""sorry"" for making my dog go under anesthesia unessessarily, or for the time wasted OR for the out of pocket fee's they NEVER should have charged me. Would not recommened this clinic to anyone... they might have been good before but the money hungry, rude staff make it a very bad clinic. more

Everyone there is awesom 9/29/2011

To everyone in the fountain community, I would like to let you know that Fountain Creek Veterinary Clinic is one of the best veterinarian clinic I visited. Within the past two month three out of my four dogs became ill and I had to take them to be seen. All three ended up spending several days in the animal hospital and all of the staff were just amazing. I got phonecalls late through out the night to let me know how my dog was doing, not all where there at the same time. I live on a very low income at the moment due to a car accident almost a year ago, but my animals got the best treatment and I am able to pay as I can. more

Amazing, Dr. Graf & Staff go the extra mile! 2/9/2011

I have a dog and a cat that I take to FCVC. The first time I went to the clinic they worked me in that day. I love that they do not turn anyone away. At the same time that I was there an emergency was told to 'head right down'. The staff did not miss a beat! They were able to get that pet help and I did not feel like just a number. I had just gotten my dog, she was a puppy, I had not had a dog in years. Dr. Graf and Patty, the CVT, were very helpful and informative. I was given a 'puppy pack' with a free month or heartworm prevention. The staff has always treated me and my pets like we matter. I am also thankful that they offer a military discount! It helps a lot. Dr. Graf is an exquiset doctor and he has a staff to match! more

The place was ok 1/7/2011

I made an appt. for my cat. I arrived before my scheduled appt, had to wait 45 min in the patient room, when the doctor finally came in, he acted like my cat wasn't that important. I felt like a burden to them just for being there. I felt it was a big waste of time and money because I could have waited that long at Hamlett to get a vaccination for way less money. I'm still searching for a decent vet that cares about my pet. more

Praise for Fountain Creek Veterinary Clinic! 9/26/2010

We have been seeing Dr. Graf since we moved here over six years ago. He cared for our rottie, Samson, until he had to go to ""doggie Heaven"" (his words). The receptionists didn't even send us a bill because they know how grief-stricken animal lovers are, and we would come and pay when were ready. more

The best of vet medicine in southern colorado 9/25/2010

The day my heart held its breathe, was the summer evening of August 8, 2010. I was on a casual walk in my neighborhood with my little girl and my other baby ""Jenny"" our long haired red chihuahua. We were stopped in the street, heading back home when out of a house came a pit bull of 3 times her size and attacked her without provocation. I was unable to act for fear of being turned on myself, I could only watch as the animal made a rag doll out of my ""Jenny"". She was finally let go by the dog after she fell limp. I could only imagine the damage that was inflicted on our baby girl at that moment. I rushed her to the vet hospital that night and then into what turned into the most loving arms of the physician, wife and staff of this caring facility. I spoke to Dr. (Patty) as I refer to her and she caringly advised me of my baby's extreme condition. All who have held her through her care and surgery at the clinic were of the utmost and courageous personalities. I am honored to have met and cared for our ""Jenny"" with each one of them. I have never experienced such personal and warm attitudes over this horrible situation. I take Jenny by just to visit now and again and she is always greeted by smiles and loving hugs. She is completely the old version of herself and healing fantastically. I know that if it were not for their love and careful handling of her she would not be with us today. Thank you so greatfully to the staff, to Dr. Graf ,and to (DR) Patty for loving Jenny like we love her and bringing our little girl back home to us. She is a very valued part of our lives. I want everyone to know what a experienced- caring staff that takes care of our little ones when we can't. Our Jenny is safe, happy and healthy at home now because these people cared enough to step outside of the box and just love an injured (almost dead) little dog. We don't get to see many kind and above humanistic gifts today but if you choose to visit this facility, you will just get a glimpse, that there are truly angels among us. more

Fantastic Medicine, Caring Staff!! 9/25/2010

Unique Clinic, Incredible Staff, Unsurpassed Medical Care 9/25/2010

I too take all my pets to Dr. Graf, and have for years. I am always impressed with the level of care my pets recieve! The fact that it is a small clinic initially drew me knowing that larger clinics are often run more like a ""business"" rather than an animal treatment facility. I am thoroughly pleased with every interaction I have had there...it is so nice to walk in the door and be greated with our names and have everyone recognize us! Another perk of going to a small clinic. more

Dr Graf and Staff at Fountain Creek Vet Clinic 9/22/2010

I just want to let everyone know that I have been taking 3 cats & 2 dogs to Dr Graf for many years and Dr Graf and his staff are always professional, courteous and compassionate. I have never seen their clinic anything but exceptionally clean. I went to several other vets in the colorado springs area before finding Dr Graf. I have a 21 yr old cat who wouldn't be doing as well as she is if not for Dr Graf and his excellent staff. I had a friend who's sister was out of state who had her nephew watching her dog that got attacked by a coyote and Dr Graf handled the case and was able to save her dog and didn't charge outrageous fees to do so. I can't say enough good about Dr Graf and his clinic and I feel that the person who is being so negative about him and his clinic has a grudge against his family. There is more to this case then is being stated by the accuser. more
