The day my heart held its breathe, was the summer evening of August 8, 2010. I was on a casual walk in my neighborhood with my little girl and my other baby ""Jenny"" our long haired red chihuahua. We were stopped in the street, heading back home when out of a house came a pit bull of 3 times her size and attacked her without provocation. I was unable to act for fear of being turned on myself, I could only watch as the animal made a rag doll out of my ""Jenny"". She was finally let go by the dog after she fell limp. I could only imagine the damage that was inflicted on our baby girl at that moment. I rushed her to the vet hospital that night and then into what turned into the most loving arms of the physician, wife and staff of this caring facility. I spoke to Dr. (Patty) as I refer to her and she caringly advised me of my baby's extreme condition. All who have held her through her care and surgery at the clinic were of the utmost and courageous personalities. I am honored to have met and cared for our ""Jenny"" with each one of them. I have never experienced such personal and warm attitudes over this horrible situation. I take Jenny by just to visit now and again and she is always greeted by smiles and loving hugs. She is completely the old version of herself and healing fantastically. I know that if it were not for their love and careful handling of her she would not be with us today. Thank you so greatfully to the staff, to Dr. Graf ,and to (DR) Patty for loving Jenny like we love her and bringing our little girl back home to us. She is a very valued part of our lives. I want everyone to know what a experienced- caring staff that takes care of our little ones when we can't. Our Jenny is safe, happy and healthy at home now because these people cared enough to step outside of the box and just love an injured (almost dead) little dog. We don't get to see many kind and above humanistic gifts today but if you choose to visit this facility, you will just get a glimpse, that there are truly angels among us.
