Have had some good experiences, some disappointing - hoping to see improvement. Always willing to pay a little more to stay local and get the service, but not 5X the price on simple supplies. more

Great product line, kind staff, but Gary (the owner) is very unpleasant to deal with. When you are spending money, Gary is great. As soon as you have an issue with anything you have purchased, however, he becomes cold, irritable, slow in getting back to you (if he gets back to you at all). Waiting for Gary to call you back, deal with an issue, or just treat you civilly is next to impossible. He simply knows that he is the only game in town and takes full advantage. more

I came in with a broken Lightning USB charger for my iPhone. Withou needing to explain the issue beyond showing the broken cord, I was given a replacement cord and rung out promptly. more

We have been very pleased with every purchase we've made at Flint Audio, but what really sets them apart is the attention to detail after the sale. If we have a technical problem, it has been solved quickly and efficiently by someone who is polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. You can buy a television anywhere-it's the service that counts. more

Hard drive on one of our servers failed. The IT guys were able to save the important data. Kudos. more

The representative that Flint Audio-Video assigned to work on my computer called me shortly after he began the work. He advised me on what he initially found and what his course of action would be. As he proceeded, he kept me updated via several phone calls because some things had changed after the initial conversation. I told him that if the repairs exceeded a certain cost, I wouldn't want to do them. He was very respectful and accommodating with my financial constraints. I had worked with them in the past but this was the first time I had left a device with them. Their follow up was great. I was extremely impressed with them. I would definitely recommend and use again. more

I found the salespeople knowledgeable and helpful as I shopped for an Apple computer. Though it took a long time for the computer to arrive at the store, I was kept informed. The problem was in the delivery of the new apples to the store and not at Flint. The young man who delivered my computer and set it up was very helpful and I was up and running in no time. more

Gary, and the service team really came through for us after Nemo ripped through Newport. We had a power surge that fried a lot of our electronics, and appliances, and knocked out our internet. Their fast response and professionalism saved the day. Thank you! more

I had not bought a TV in a long time. I went in to Flint Audio-Video and bought a Sony TV and a fellow named Dan came out, removed the old TV, installed the new one, set it up, and clued us in. Everything was perfect. I would highly recommend them. more

I am attending a seminar at the Viking Hotel in Newport and discovered that I packed my MacBook Air but not the adapter. I asked one of my instructors where I could get one locally, and he recommended Flint Audio without hesitation. I called the store and spoke to Dan to see if they had an adapter. Not only did he have one, but he had it delivered to the hotel. Now that's customer service above and beyond the call of duty. Dan, you saved the day! more

We've been fortunate enough to have a Flint Audio right here in our back yard for the past 25 years. As a builder, I've had the privilege of working with Gary and his team of installers on many of the finer homes in the area. His team is always on time and extremely professional. This Christmas, bored with the normal shopping, I stuck my head into Flints to see if there were going to be any bargains after the holidays. A few minutes later I walked out of the store with a quote for a 55" Sony Bravia. I used the quote to compare Flint's prices on my smartphone with BestBuy. Flint was lower and their installation package superior. I immediately went back in signed up for the day after Christmas, "hook-up". A few minutes after getting back home to share the news with my girlfriend, Gary from Flint called and asked if they could come out and do the install later that afternoon, which was Christmas Eve. I told Gary it could wait but in 30 minutes his crew was at my door ready to do the install.Watching The Christmas story in HD for the 1st time was great. It's hard to find service like that. I bought a laptop from Flint Audio Video. Everyone there was very attentive and nice. The salesman was very knowledgeable. He recognized what my needs were and helped me pick out something that would be good for me. more

I bought an IMac from Flint and asked them to install new software I was also buying and I would install the rest from my old computer at home. I was never told that doing it in stages like that meant that I would have my hard drive compartmentalized with the old data from my old computer in one compartment and the new data and software in another compartment. I cannot see both at the same time. Secondly, When I bought the computer it took an inordinate amount of time for the Apple specialist to install the new software on my new computer and I had to wait over a week. Thirdly, everyone I speak to at Flint seems rushed and bothered by my requests for service. At this point, in order to have the job done right I will have to bring in both my old and new computers to Flint at a time when the Apple tech is there to make things right. I cannot lift the computers because of a broken arm. I will be charged a fee for Flint to come out and pick up the computers. I would not recommend buying any Apple computers from Flint. I do not believe they are adequately set up to service Apple customers. I had bought TVs and other products from Flint in the past with no complaints and received good service. I thought I would support my local business by buying an Apple Computer from them instead of at the Apple store in Providence. I am sorry I did that. more

Best service for any type of Audio or Video, the service at Flint is second to none and they don't make you feel inadequate when asking questions more

Whilst on a road trip through the US I though I would stop by and have a look at Flint AV and I was very pleased I did! I spoke to a very knowledgeable assistant within the store, I was looking for an apple tv and all the details were explained to me with precise detail. I left purchasing an apple tv fully informed!
